Orthodontic treatment is one way to deal with malocclusion problems to achieve good dental occlusion. As a result of the phenomenon of individual needs in overcoming malocclusion, many people come to the dentist's practice to install braces at different rates. This study aims to determine the most dominant factor in influencing the rates of braces fitting in general dental practices in Medan. This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The study population was dentists who practised actively in Medan and performed fixed orthodontic treatment or braces. The sample size was 30 people with purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis used Spearman's Correlation test and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the mean of the type of braces, practice location, and type of malocclusion were 3.17 ± 0.950; 3.77 ± 0.504; and 9.13 ± 1.383, while the rate of braces had a mean of 1.37 ± 0.490. Spearman;s correlation statistical test can be stated that there is an influence of the type of brace (p=0.002; p≤0.05), practice location (p=0.039; p≤0.05), and type of malocclusion (p=0.005; p≤0.05) on the determination of significant dental practice brace tariffs in Medan Petisah District. The type of brace had a strong degree of influence, while the location of the practice and the type of malocclusion showed a moderate degree of influence. The type of brace is the most dominant factor in influencing the determination of tariffs. The conclusion of this study is that the better the type of brace, the more expensive the fitting rate
Risk factors for obesity and overweight in under-five children in a highland community, Kabanjahe
Overnutrition in toddlers is a public health problem that continues to increase globally and nationally. In Indonesia, the prevalence of toddler obesity has risen from 10.5% (2007) to 21.8% (2018). In Karo Regency, the prevalence of toddler obesity reached 8.80%. Data from 2025 at Simpang Empat Community Health Center in Kabanjahe shows 12 toddlers with obesity and 49 toddlers with overnutrition. This study aims to analyze the relationship between maternal knowledge, attitudes, and practices with the occurrence of obesity and overnutrition in toddlers aged 12-60 months. The research method used an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 61 toddlers with obesity or overnutrition, selected using total sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and anthropometric measurements of BMI-for-age. Analysis used the Chi-Square test. Results show the majority of mothers had insufficient knowledge (57.4%), positive attitudes (63.9%), and suboptimal practices (65.6%). There was a significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.038), attitude (p=0.041), and practice (p=0.044) with the toddler's nutritional status. The study conclusion confirms that good nutritional care practices, supported by adequate knowledge and a positive attitude, play an important role in preventing obesity and overnutrition in toddlers
Diabetes Mellitus in the eyes of Cataract Patients Undergoing Phacoemulsification
Cataract lenses are removed from inside the eye through the use of ultrasonic energy and an irrigation/aspiration process, which is then followed by intraocular lens implantation (IOL). The ultrasonic energy used to shave cataracts is currently so concentrated on the cataract itself, but it is still possible that this energy has a different effect on the eye tissue during the phacoemulsification process. Phacoemulsification in diabetic patients is quite challenging. We need to pay attention to these combined diseases and their consequences in order to preserve the delicate tissues and structures of the eye and ensure its function until the future
Analysis Of The Relationship Between Environmental Health Factors And The Incidence Of Stunting In Toddlers In The Working Area Of Kersik Tuo Public Health Center, Kayu Aro District, Kerinci Regency
Environmental health from the aspect of poor sanitation and hygiene will trigger digestive disorders which impact nutrition for growth and turn into the body's resistance to infection, thereby risking stunting in toddlers. This study aims to determine the relationship between environmental health factors and the incidence of stunting in toddlers. The research design uses observational analytics with a cross sectional approach. The total sample was 106 toddlers. The sampling technique for this research is purposive sampling using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. There is a significant relationship between drinking water sources (p=0.012), physical quality of drinking water (p=0.000), latrine ownership (p=0.013), waste management (p=0.001), waste management (p= 0.017) and hand washing habits (p=0.000) on the incidence of stunting. Drinking water treatment (p=0.432) does not have a significant relationship with the incidence of stunting in the Kersik Tuo Health Center area, Kayu Aro District, Kerinci Regency. It is recommended that health educational workers provide outreach with practical and effective methods related to sanitation and hygiene so that the public can understand the importance of maintaining a healthy environment which has an impact on stunting

A CONTENT ANALYSIS ON THE FEATURE OF VOCABULARY IN “GROW WITH ENGLISH HANDBOOK”
This investigation seeks to identify and scrutinize the typologies of vocabulary exercises incorporated within the "Grow with English" textbook designed for Grade 4 students. Vocabulary acquisition is fundamentally crucial to language learning, particularly at the elementary level where learners are establishing foundational linguistic competence. This textbook, extensively utilized in Indonesian primary education, is structured to support English acquisition through diverse and engaging pedagogical activities. Employing a content analysis methodology, this research systematically examines the vocabulary tasks presented in each unit of the Grade 4 textbook. The exercises were subsequently categorized according to established activity formats, such as picture-word matching, multiple-choice questions, cloze (fill-in-the-blank) tasks, crossword puzzles, and word searches. The findings reveal a predominance of matching and fill-in-the-blank activities, which are specifically aimed at developing both lexical recognition and contextual comprehension. While more interactive formats, including crossword puzzles and word searches, are also incorporated, their frequency of appearance is comparatively lower. The diversity of exercise types suggests the textbook endeavors to provide a balanced and stimulating approach to vocabulary development. This study is anticipated to contribute to the evaluation and refinement of English instructional materials, particularly concerning the selection of effective vocabulary pedagogy for primary learners. Furthermore, the results may serve as a valuable reference for educators in designing or supplementing classroom vocabulary interventions tailored to student requirements.
