Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by high blood glucose levels caused by impaired insulin secretion from pancreatic β cells. This study aims to evaluate the effect of Andrographis paniculata leaf extract on pancreatic function and histopathological features of the pancreas of male Wistar white rats with diabetes mellitus. This study is an experimental study using a pre-post test control group design. The research sample of 24 Wistar rats was divided into 6 groups. The results of observations conducted on all groups showed changes in amylase and lipase levels in the treatment group. The results of the normality test of amylase and lipase levels were said to be normally distributed because the p values were > 0.05, namely 0.100 and 0.436. Based on the differences in the average serum amylase levels, the researchers concluded that the treatment group given Andrographis paniculata leaf extract (Andrographis paniculata). dose of 600mg/KgBW had the highest decrease in serum amylase and lipase levels. Histopathology of pancreatic tissue showed that the treatment group given Andrographis paniculata leaf extract (Andrographis paniculata) dose of 600mg/KgBW) category score 1 because the number of degenerative cells with a degree of damage (<1-25%), the number of necrotic cells <25% and the number of inflammatory cells <10 in the entire pancreatic interstitial space experienced the most significant improvement. Sambiloto leaf extract (Andrographis paniculata) contains secondary metabolites in the form of saponins, tannins, flavonoids, and triterpenoids which help repair pancreatic cells damaged by diabetes mellitus

This study examines the combined effects of Vitamin D3 and Vitamin E supplementation on haemoglobin levels, blood glucose, and the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio in septic rats caused by Staphylococcus aureus. The rats were categorised into seven groups: Group 1: Control group; Group 2: Sepsis group; Group 3: DOX group (9 mg/kg); Group 4: DOX (9 mg/kg) combined with Vitamin D3 (36 IU/kg) and Vitamin E (250 mg/kg); Group 5: Vitamin D3 (36 IU/kg) and Vitamin E (250 mg/kg); Group 6: Vitamin D3 (72 IU/kg) and Vitamin E (250 mg/kg); Group 7: Vitamin D3 (144 IU/kg) and Vitamin E (250 mg/kg) were administered orally for one week. Blood samples were obtained to assess haemoglobin, glucose, and NLR levels. The research indicates that Staphylococcus aureus-induced sepsis markedly impacts haemoglobin levels and the neutrophil-tolymphocyte ratio (NLR). Doxycycline, in conjunction with Vitamin D3 and Vitamin E, enhanced haemoglobin levels and decreased NLR. Nevertheless, no substantial variations in blood glucose levels were seen across the groups (p>0.05), although elevated doses of Vitamin D3 indicated some enhancement. The results indicate that the combination of Doxycycline with Vitamin D3 and Vitamin E may aid in the management of sepsisrelated inflammation and the recovery of haemoglobin levels. Additional research is required to optimise dosage and therapy combinations

The cornea is a clear and transparent layer that covers the front surface of the eye, playing an important role in protecting the eye and allowing light to enter the eye for sight. As the layer that first receives light, the cornea also functions to refract the light so that it reaches the retina with the right focus, which is then translated by the brain into clear vision. Therefore, the health and integrity of the structures of the cornea are very important for the quality of a person's visual functions
