Antibacterial activity of dali ni horbo protein extract modified with citrus and pineapple juice
Background: The global rise in antibiotic resistance highlights the urgent need to identify novel, natural antimicrobial agents. Fermented dairy products represent potential sources of bioactive peptides with inherent antibacterial properties. Dali ni horbo is a traditional fermented buffalo milk product from North Sumatra, Indonesia. This study aimed to evaluate the in vitro antimicrobial activity of a crude protein extract from dali ni horbo, modified with orange and pineapple juice, against selected pathogenic microorganisms.
Methods: This experimental laboratory study employed disk diffusion and well diffusion methods on agar media to assess the extract’s activity against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Propionibacterium acnes, and Candida albicans.
Results: The results showed no inhibition zones for any treatment against all tested microorganisms. The absence of detectable antimicrobial activity may be attributed to the low concentration or biological activity of antibacterial compounds in the crude extract, the possible degradation of bioactive peptides during extraction, and the limited diffusion capacity of high‑molecular‑weight proteins in solid agar media.
Conclusion: In conclusion, under the experimental conditions and methods applied, the crude protein extract of dali ni horbo did not exhibit antimicrobial activity against the tested bacterial and fungal species. Further studies involving protein purification, bioactive peptide isolation, and alternative liquid-based susceptibility assays are recommended
Linguistic Interference and Integration in the Television Program 'Enah Bikin Enak' Broadcasted on Trans 7

This study aims to identify the forms of language interference and integration in the television show 'Enah Bikin Enak' aired on Trans 7. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through literature study and documentation of several show episodes. The data were analyzed to find forms of interference and language integration between Sundanese and Indonesian. The results showed several forms of interference in phonology, morphology, and syntax. In addition, regional vocabulary and expressions are integrated into the Indonesian language used in the show. These findings reflect the dynamics of language use in mass media, which cannot be separated from the influence of social and cultural developments
Silenced Voices: Strategies of Exclusion and Inclusion in the Coverage of Sexual Violence in Indonesian Online Media
This study aims to describe the representation strategy of victims of sexual violence in online media coverage using the Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK) approach of the Theo van Leeuwen model. The object of study is five news articles from national online media, Kompas.com, Tempo.co, Merdeka.com, Detik.com, and Metrotvnews.com, that raised the case of rape by students of the Padjadjaran University specialist doctor education program (PPDS). The method used is descriptive qualitative with critical discourse text analysis techniques, including exclusion and inclusion strategies, such as passivation, nominalization, objectivation, identification, and assimilation. The results showed that in most news, the perpetrators were described explicitly by mentioning their social status and institutional affiliation. At the same time, the victims were often presented vaguely and subordinated in the sentence structure. This finding shows that the media has not fully sided with the perspective of victims, so the news has the potential to influence public perceptions of victims of sexual violence negatively. The implications of this research are recommended as teaching materials for news texts in Indonesian language learning at the high school level to form media literacy and students' critical perspectives on the issue of sexual violence
An Analysis of the Monologue Drama Script "Setan Hadir Tepat Waktu" by Bode Riswandi Using a Feminist Approach
This research aims to analyze Bode Riswandi's monologue drama, “Satan Comes on Time,” through the lens of feminist theory. The play tells the story of a marginalized woman who works as a sex worker and voices her inner struggle and social criticism of stigma, gender inequality, and the patriarchal system. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, focusing on the representation of women, power relations, and social criticism in the text. The results of the analysis show that this text has five main elements of feminism, which are rooted in feminist theory, namely stereotypes of women, unequal power relations, reflective consciousness of female characters, the metaphor of the “devil” as a symbol of capitalism and patriarchy, and criticism of inequality in access to education and employment. Through this monologue, the voices of women who are often silenced appear as a narrative of resistance that touches and opens space for awareness of the importance of gender justice

Comparative Analysis of the Customer Satisfaction Index and Service Quality Methods in Measuring BPJS Patient Satisfaction at Royal Prima Hospital
Patient satisfaction is an important indicator for assessing the quality of healthcare services, especially for hospitals serving BPJS patients. By understanding the level of patient satisfaction, hospitals can identify what is performing well and what needs improvement in their services. The objective of this study is to compare two methods, namely the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Service Quality (Servqual), in measuring BPJS patient satisfaction at Royal Prima Hospital. The CSI method quantitatively measures overall patient satisfaction, while the Servqual method evaluates satisfaction based on four service quality dimensions. This research was conducted through questionnaires distributed to 300 BPJS patients who had received medical services at Royal Prima Hospital. The research findings indicate that the Servqual method produced an average satisfaction score of 2.74, while the CSI method achieved a satisfaction score of 0.69, which falls into the "Good" or "Satisfied" category. These findings demonstrate that both methods complement each other, providing a more effective and comprehensive understanding of patient satisfaction
Optimizing nutritional status with nutritional therapy in malnourished patient post whipple’s procedure: A case report
The prevalence of malnutrition is considerably high among patients with pancreatic cancer and that Whipple procedure is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates. Post-Whipple procedure nutritional therapy can help to preserve nutritional status, accelerate recovery of functional capacity, and improve patient’s quality of life. A 65-year-old malnourished woman underwent Whipple procedure for adenocarcinoma of ampulla of Vater. Oral pre-operative nutrition was given in the form of normal food and oral nutritional supplement (ONS). Eight hours before surgery, the patient received ONS containing 30 g carbohydrate. The patient was given early enteral nutrition at <48 hours post-operatively and was given oral nutrition as soon as she regained consciousness. The patient experienced post-operative pancreatic fistula (POPF) grade A. Post-operative in-hospital and homecare nutritional therapy included supply of energy, macronutrients, micronutrients, and nutritional education adjusted to the patient’s clinical condition and intake tolerance. Energy intake during hospitalization attained 109% of the estimated total energy requirement that consisted of up to 1.9 g/kg/day protein. Homecare nutritional intake reached almost 2 times basal energy requirement with 2.2 g/kg/day protein intake. The patient experienced improvement of clinical symptoms, POPF, intake tolerance, glycemic control, and functional capacity. The patient was allowed to be discharged and treated in the outpatient clinic, without readmission in the next 2 months. Adequate hospital and homecare medical nutritional therapy in post-Whipple procedure may improve nutritional status and functional capacity, improve clinical outcome, and prevent readmission of patients
