Application of Support Vector Machine in Measuring Stress Levels Based on EEG Signals
This study aims to classify stress levels based on electroencephalography (EEG) signals using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. The data used in this study came from 21 subjects with a total of 379 datasets, which included the main variables of Subject, Electrode Channel (E), Theta, Beta 1, and Beta 2. Preprocessing was done to ensure data quality, including blank data elimination, normalization, and feature engineering. One of the main features developed was the Beta Average, which was obtained by calculating the average between Beta 1 and Beta 2, and stress level classification, which was determined based on the comparison between the Beta Average and Theta. The SVM algorithm was applied to build a stress classification model with an initial stage of manual calculation to understand the basic concepts, followed by the Python programming language implementation. The evaluation results show that the developed model has an accuracy of 92.76%, with the highest precision, recall, and f1-score values reaching 100% and the lowest value of 85%. The confusion matrix analysis showed that the model could classify low stress with 100% accuracy, while it reached 87.8% for high stress. The findings of this study prove that the SVM algorithm effectively classifies EEG signal-based stress levels. This model can be the basis for further development of stress detection methods, especially in mental health and neuroinformatics applications
Classification of Hypertension Using Support Vector Machine Based on Data Photoplethysmography and Blood Pressure Estimator
This study formulates a Support Vector Machine (SVM)-based hypertension classification model using physiological features from Photoplethysmograph (PPG) signals and systolicdiastolic blood pressure estimates. PPG data were collected from 276 participants in three locations using a non-invasive device integrated into the MR-IAT Robot Covid web platform. Feature extraction and preprocessing were performed in MATLAB, while SVM (scikit-learn) model training and testing were conducted in Google Colab. Comparison of three kernel variants—linear, quadratic, and cubic—showed that the cubic kernel was the most superior with an accuracy of 96.4%, followed by quadratic at 94.9% and linear at 91.3%. Overall, the model achieved 93.9% accuracy in distinguishing six blood pressure categories (Hypotension, Normal, Prehypertension, Stage 1 Hypertension, Stage 2 Hypertension, Crisis). Visualization of the results (scatter plot, confusion matrix, parallel coordinates) revealed that systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, age, weight, and respiration rate were the most influential parameters. These findings underscore the potential application of SVM in portable devices for early detection and real-time monitoring of hypertension

Pelatihan dan Pemberdayaan Petani dalam Pengelolaan Pupuk Organik Cair di Desa Tala Peta, Kabupaten Deli Serdang
The main problems for farmers, especially farmers from the Kelompok Tani Mamre, are the scarcity of subsidized fertilizers and the high price of non-subsidized fertilizers. This situation causes a decrease in agricultural productivity and farmer welfare, and increases dependence on chemical fertilizers that can pollute agricultural land. This community service is carried out to provide a solution by empowering farmers to produce liquid organic fertilizers independently, by utilizing local natural resources. This program uses three main stages of method: fertilizer needs survey, liquid organic fertilizer production training, and direct fertilizer production practice. The survey was conducted to understand the fertilizer needs in Desa Tala Peta. Furthermore, farmers are trained on local organic materials that can be used and fertilizer production techniques. The final stage is direct practice, where the results of fertilizer production will be used by farmers. This program is expected to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and support the formation of cooperative-based UMKM to market fertilizers sustainably

The Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create (RADEC) Model Assisted by Image Media to Improve Learning to Write Explanatory Texts for Fifth Grade Students
This research is motivated by the low ability of fifth grade elementary school students in writing explanatory texts. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Read Answer Discuss Explain Create (RADEC) learning model assisted by image media on students' ability to write explanatory texts. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a posttest-only control group design . The research sample consisted of three elementary schools in Sumedang Regency, each with 25 students in the experimental and control classes. The instruments used were post-learning tests and observations. The results showed that the application of the RADEC model assisted by image media significantly improved students' ability to write explanatory texts compared to the conventional model. This can be seen from the higher scores obtained in the experimental class, which indicates that the RADEC model helps students develop critical and creative thinking skills, search for information independently, discuss in groups, and write explanatory texts based on their own experiences and understanding. This study proves the effectiveness of the RADEC model assisted by image media in improving the quality of learning to write explanatory texts in elementary school students
Tinjauan Yuridis Mengenai Perlawanan Pihak Ketiga (Derden Verzet) Terhadap Putusan Verstek
The objective of this study is to analyze the juridical aspects of third-party objections to default judgments within the civil justice system in Indonesia. This research aims to understand how judges consider third-party objections and how such objections may affect the enforcement of default judgments. This study adopts a juridical-normative approach, aiming to deeply analyze the prevailing legal norms related to third-party opposition (derden verzet) against default judgments. This approach emphasizes an examination of legal materials, including legislation, doctrines, and court decisions. The methods used in this study are library research and document analysis, where the researcher gathers and examines relevant literature and analyzes legal documents to comprehensively understand the issues studied. The research reveals several important findings regarding third-party objections to default judgments in the context of Indonesia's civil justice system. First and foremost, to submit an objection, the third party must have a right or interest that is harmed by the default judgment. This indicates that third-party opposition cannot be made arbitrarily; it must be based on actual harm suffered by the third party as a result of the judgment. Furthermore, third parties intending to file an objection must not have been involved in the prior proceedings and must not be represented by any of the litigants in the case.
Penerapan Pasal 106 Ayat 1 UU NO.22 Tahun 2009 Dengan Menggunakan ETLE
Traffic is a crucial part of public mobility, allowing people to move from one point to another, and also plays a significant role in economic growth, including both human and goods transport services. With the advancement of technology, however, transportation has also had adverse effects on human life, such as accidents that claim many lives. Therefore, the operation of motor vehicles is regulated by Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning road traffic and transportation. This regulation is now enforced not only manually but also through the ETLE electronic system, demonstrating that the police are also keeping pace with technological progress. The aim of this study is to examine whether the implementation of Article 106, paragraph 1, through the ETLE system is functioning effectively or, perhaps, otherwise
Implementation Of The Archipelago Principle In Regional Regulations On The Protection And Empowerment Of Farmers And The Tobacco Products Industry In East Java
Tobacco and the Tobacco Products Industry have a strategic role in improving the community's economy, absorbing labor, and state or regional revenues from both the tax and excise sectors, especially for East Java which is the main Tobacco producing region and is a center for IHT. However, this commodity and sector have continued to experience a quantitative decline over time. This is due to strict control policies in the Tobacco and IHT sectors and the still weak protection and empowerment of Tobacco Farmers and business actors in the IHT sector. Therefore, this sector requires regulatory support that can provide guarantees of protection and business continuity both in the on-farm and off-farm sectors. The application of the Archipelagic Principle in the Content Material of Regional Regulations on the Protection and Empowerment of Farmers and the Tobacco Products Industry in the Form of Regulations in East Java is reflected in the provisions of the articles in the Regional Regulation of East Java Province Number 8 of 2024 concerning the Development and Protection of Tobacco. which is based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution and applies the principles of the Unitary State
