Increased blood pressure during pre-anesthesia if not treated will cause bleeding both intra and post-operatively.Furthermore, it also increases the anesthetic dose, which prolongs the patient's recovery period after anesthesia. One therapy that can lower blood pressure is the recitation of the Asmaul Husana (Asmaul Husana) because it has a relaxing effect on the body. This study aims to determine the effect of dhikr Asmaul Husana on blood pressure in pre-anesthesia hypertension patients at the Yogyakarta Islamic Hospital PDHI..This research method used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design with the Wilcoxon test. The sample in this study were 54 pre-anesthesia patients with accidental sampling. The results of data processing using the Wilcoxon test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05), which means Ha is accepted. These results indicate that there is an effect of dhikr Asmaul Husana on blood pressure in pre-anesthesia hypertensive patients at the Yogyakarta Islamic Hospital PDHI. FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE PRODUCTIVITY OF PALM OIL HARVESTING LABOR AT PTPN IV PABATU PLANTATION

    No full text
Labor productivity is a critical factor in determining operational efficiency in the oil palm plantation sector. This study aims to analyze the influence of age, work experience, and wages on the productivity of harvest workers at PTPN IV Pabatu Plantation Unit. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression. A sample of 80 respondents was selected from the population of permanent harvest workers through random sampling. The results indicate that, simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affect labor productivity. Partially, age and wages have a significant influence, while work experience does not. Wages were found to be the most dominant factor in enhancing productivity. These findings suggest the need for fair wage policies and performance-based incentive systems to improve harvesting efficiency in plantation operations

    No full text
Preschool children are children aged 5 to 6 years who have various potentials. According to the World Health Organization's (WHO) 2019 report, 5-25% of preschool-aged children experience difficulties with their social-emotional skills, which have an impact on their readiness for school. Appropriate and engaging stimulation is crucial for supporting the social and emotional development of preschool children. Based on this background, this study aims to determine whether there are changes in the social-emotional abilities of preschool children before and after being given treatment in the form of drawing and storytelling activities. This study employed a quantitative experimental approach, utilizing a one-group pre-post test design. Data collection was conducted by involving raters who used observation sheets and documentation during the study. The participants in this study were 14 children from Group B at Taman Kanak-Kanak X, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The results of this study showed that there were changes in the social-emotional abilities of preschool children before and after treatment in the form of an increase in several aspects of behavior through drawing and storytelling activities. This can occur because, during the activity, children have much interaction with their peers and can express the feelings or emotions they feel through the results of the drawing

    No full text
Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever is a disease caused by the dengue virus due to the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Patients will go through 3 phases of this disease: fever, critical, and recovery. A complication that often occurs in the critical phase is dengue shock syndrome. This case report aimed to provide an overview of nursing care for patients in the critical phase of dengue hemorrhagic fever at a private hospital in West Jakarta. Care was provided by Diploma III nursing students for 4 days using a nursing process approach that includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Data was collected using interview techniques, observation, and physical and diagnostic examinations. The assessment showed that the patient was in a grade II critical phase, characterized by the appearance of petechiae on both superior extremities without a tourniquet test. The nursing problems raised were the risk of hypovolemia, the risk of bleeding, acute pain, and nausea. The interventions provided focus on preventing bleeding and fluid management. The implementation includes providing appropriate fluid resuscitation, monitoring blood hematology laboratories, and encouraging patients to rest in bed to reduce the risk of other bleeding. On the fourth day of treatment, three nursing problems were solved: the risk of bleeding, acute pain and nausea. The nursing problem that was partially resolved is the risk of hypovolemia. In conclusion, in dengue hemorrhagic patients in the critical phase, nurses need to pay primary attention to the possibility of hypovolemia even though it is not necessarily an actual problem

    No full text
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease and silent killer characterized by hyperglycemia. Type 2 DM has become a global health crisis. This disease causes serious life-threatening health problems with high medical costs, decreased quality of life and increased mortality which causes uncertainty where patients feel they no longer care about their disease and the solution to overcome this with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Quantitative research type, Quasi-Experiment design with pretest-posttest. The population amounted to 319 people, sample selection by purposive means, a sample of 36 people. The instrument used a questionnaire. The statistical test used Wilcoxon Test. The results of the Wilcoxon test value = 0.000 < (0.005) means that there is an effect of cognitive bahavior therapy on intolerance of uncertainty in Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Amplas Health Center in 2024. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that there is an effect of cognitive bahavior therapy on intolerance of uncertainty in Type II DM patients. It is expected that DM patients with intolerance of uncertainly use non-pharmacological methods, namely cognitive behavior therapy to reduce intolerance of uncertainly

    No full text
This study aimed to examine the relationship between permissive parenting style and bullying behavior among undergraduate nursing students at Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi. University students experience significant social and psychosocial development, and inadequate internalization of parental values can lead to maladaptive behaviors such as bullying. This research employed a quantitative cross-sectional design with purposive sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires on parenting style and bullying behavior and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed a significant relationship between permissive parenting style and bullying behavior (p=0.000, p<0.05). Students raised with a permissive parenting style were more likely to exhibit moderate levels of bullying behavior. These findings suggest that permissive parenting, which grants children excessive freedom with minimal supervision, can increase the likelihood of aggressive behaviors such as bullying. Efforts to strengthen parental involvement and guidance are essential to prevent bullying among university students
