In learning to learn something well, we need to use our existing senses such as listening, seeing, and asking questions about material discussions with teachers or others. Not only that, teachers need to "teach it", that is to describe something in their own way, for example, trying to practice skills and doing tasks that demand knowledge they have gained. The problems studied in this research are: a) How to improve biology learning outcomes by applying the model of learning with the media images in class XI SMA N 6 Padang? B) The steps taken in improving the biology learning achievement in grade XI SMA N 6 Padang. Place of improvement of learning SMA N 6 Padang Class: XI Number of students 29. Biology Subject, Time of Implementation January 3, 2015: Implementation of Cycle I January 14, 2015: Implementation of Cycle II. Procedure PTK Improvement of learning carried out in the process of the cycle consists of 4 stages: Melalukan planning (planning) Acting, Observation (Observation) Reflection. The results of the reflection in the ppenulis made in the guidelines to make further improvements, if the actions taken are considered successful, the improvement can be carried out several times until the learning is achieved well and the results are increased and satisfactory value. From the results of learning that has been carried out clearly that the use of appropriate media and the use of various methods can improve students\u27 understanding of learning materials about human respiratory equipment in students of class XI SMA N. 6 Padang. Based on the learning that has been done in obtaining the following results: 1) Obtaining pre-cycle value of 25.9%. This is caused by using image media 2) Obtaining the value of cycle I, that is equal to 59.26%. This is caused by the use of image media and using varied methods 3) Acquisition cycle II, which is equal to 96.3%. This is caused in the given material by using the image media. The Other Boleyn Girl is a historical novel written by British author Philippa Gregory loosely based on the life of 16th century aristocrat Mary Boleyn (the sister of Anne Boleyn) of whom little is known. Inspired by Mary’s life story, Gregory depicts the annulment of one of the most significant royal marriages in English history and conveys the urgency of the need for a male heir to the throne. In analyzing this data, the writer uses psychological theories by Sigmund Freud. Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory of personality argues that human behavior is the result of the interactions among three component parts of the mind: the id, ego, and superego. This theory, known as Freud’s structural theory of personality, places great emphasis on the role of unconscious psychological conflicts in shaping behavior and personality. The result show that although it’s good to have ambition to drive someone to reach their goal to succeed but ambition without limit could destroy everything and everyone around you. And it even could destroy yourself too

Basic education aims to provide basic skills to learners to develop their lives as individuals, community members, citizens and members of the human race and prepare learners to follow the next education. Primary education is organized to develop skills attitudes and provide the basic knowledge and skills necessary to live in communities and prepare learners who are eligible for secondary education (UU Sisdiknas No. 20 Year 2003 article 13). In teaching and learning activities, a teacher would have hope of desire for learners can get the maximum value possible, in accordance with the learning objectives created or desired but what can be in word, reality. For special mathematics subjects, field findings such as EBTANAS, summative test results and daily test scores and report scores indicate that the learners\u27 learning outcomes are still below the numbers that may be unsatisfactory in both low and class high. From some study results and opinions of experts, the low mathematics learning outcomes of students is not because they are not able to perform calculations, but because they do not understand the problems contained in the problem. Hudoyo (in Laily Hasbullah: 2000: 1) states that questions related to numbers are not so difficult for learners, but the problems that use sentences are very difficult for learners who have less or less ability. &nbsp

Schools whose inhabitants are mostly self-employed livelihoods. The determination of this location is based on the fact that the school has never been a researcher doing Classroom Action Research (PTK), and student achievement in this school is still relatively low compared to other schools. Choose class I as respondent with reason: (a) cognitive development level 8-10 years already have ability. (b) the existence of variations of students, judging by the social status, education and work of their parents (c) the problems faced by the first grade students in reading. Not only that, teachers need to "do it", that is to describe something in their own way, to show their example, to try to practice their skills and to do tasks that demand the knowledge they have gained. Problems to be studied in this research are: Does using SQ3R model can improve student learning result of SD N 30 Timbulun in Indonesian language lesson? Steps taken in using the SQ3R learning model? The location of this research is SD Negeri 30 Timbulun. Subjects and Characteristics of students. Improved subjects are Indonesian subjects, while the number of students who became the target of research in class I as many as 27 people consisting of 15 women and 12 men. This research is in the form of process (observation and field note) and result of test. Observation is used to get data about students in following the learning of Indonesian language. This research indicates that the application of SQ3R model can improve comprehension comprehension if applied properly and in accordance with the implementation stage. Implementation of SQ3R model that is not perfect, less improve student learning result read comprehension. This is seen in classroom action research in cycle I to cycle III. Based on the research objectives, it can be concluded that the efforts of teachers to apply SQ3R model in reading comprehension learning can improve students\u27 understanding of the reading. the details are as follows. 1) Increased reading progress through SQ3R model, every cycle I average score 56,44%, cycle II average value 66,11%, cycle III achievement result 88,11%. 2) The atmosphere of teaching and learning process goes well. All students do the job actively. This is seen when students strive to implement the stages of the strategy. Students can mention things that are known to the topic topics, can recount in their own words as well as summarize the content of the reading. 3) Activity of students in learning to run well because of its motivation to learn. &nbsp

In mathematics learning, active participation of students and interaction between students and teachers is a very important thing to get good learning outcomes. Based on the results of initial interviews concluded that still encountered some obstacles in teaching and learning activities. Among them the level of students\u27 understanding of the taught material is still lacking, the interest and motivation to learn the mathematics of students is still low, the students tend to be passive in learning, do not want to ask the teacher. Even to ask friends was reluctant because students who are smart do not want to share with friends. So on this occasion, put forward a learning that is active learning strategy of sharing type of knowledge actively. The purpose of this research is to know how student activity in learning mathematics by using active learning strategy active type of knowledge sharing and to know whether student learning result of mathematics with Using active learning strategies active type of knowledge sharing is better than the result of learning mathematics students without using active learning strategies active type of knowledge sharing. The type of research is experimental research. The design used is Randomized Control Group Only Design. The result of this study is the result of student learning in the cognitive domain obtained through the test of learning achieves the percentage of completeness 86.36%, student activity as a whole is implemented and tends to increase in every meeting. Analysis of final test result data is done using t-test. After t test for hypothesis testing, thount = 2.69, ttable = 1.68, it turns out thount > ttable so that H0 is rejected, thus the result of mathematics learning in students using Active Knowledge Sharing Active Knowledge strategy is better than result Learning of students without using Active Learning Strategy Active Knowledge Sharing type
