    Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk peningkatan terhadap kemampuan guru SDN 19 Sijantang Koto dalam menggunakan alat peraga melalui kegiatan pendampingan. Dari hasil observasi awal, diketahui bahwa guru kurang mampu alat peraga pada proses pembelajaran, hal ini disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman terhadap guru untuk memanfaatkan sarana alat peraga pada proses pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu peneliti mengadakan kegiatan pelatihan terhadap guru SDN 19 Sijantang Koto dalam memanfaatkan alat peraga yang bisa dipergunakan pada proses pembelajaran Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) yang terdiri dari 2 tahap yaitu siklus I dan siklus 2. Adapun tiap siklus terdiri dari empat prosedur yaitu Perencanaan (Planning), Pelaksanaan tindakan (Acting), Observasi (Observing) dan Refleksi (Reflecting). Dengan subjek penelitian yaitu guru SDN 19 Sijantang Koto sebanyak 8 orang guru. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata dari keseluruhan indikator memperoleh 72,5 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 93,4. Jadi, terjadi peningkatan 20,9 dari siklus I. Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan tersebut terlihat bahwa meningkatnya kemampuan guru dalam membuat alat peraga sesudah diterapkan kegiatan pendampingan

    An Error Analysis on the Use of Simple Present Tense in Descriptive Text

    The purpose of this research is to analyze of student’s errors on the use of simple present tense in Descriptive text based on the problem that students felt confused about using present tense in their writing especially Descriptive text. The method of the research is qualitative descriptive. The subject of this research was eleventh grade students of SMA PERTI PPMTI Padang. The result show that the researcher found four types of errors : omission, addition, misformation, misodering. Then, the researcher found the highest error made by students is misformation with 52 % percentages. This problem influenced by student felt confused to understand simple past because they did not know the meaning and differences between regular verb and irregular verb.     Language variations are often encountered in daily communication, one of which is in the communication of the online game PUBG Mobile player community. The game programming language is English, so they have indirectly learned to understand the meaning of the language used by the online game. Based on these reasons, the researcher wants to explain the language variations used PUBG Mobile players by Tamy e-sport community in Lubuk Basung and also the factors that cause it. This research uses the theory of Chaer and Agustina about language variations that are caused not only by their narrative, but also by their social interactions. The researcher used qualitative methods. The purpose of this research is to explain the form of language variations used in player PUBG Mobile and their factors. The results of the research show that in the communication of PUBG Mobile players by the Tamy e-sport community there are language variations in the form of code-mixing, abbreviation, and Jakarta dialect. Code-mixing is the most commonly found in their communication.     This thesis is entitled The Struggle of Matchmaker to Find Love as Seen in Jane Austen’s Emma. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the extrinsic elements that builds the story outside the novel. How the psychology of   personality of a matchmaker in finding love. The background of this research problem is in the writing of a novel created by an author, there is an author personality in creating characters in the story. Knowing the extrinsic elements that build a story will make it easier to conduct research on the psychology of the character in the story. The purposes of this research are describe the extrinsic elements that builds a novel from outside and to analyze the psychology of Emma’ personality as a matchmaker in finding love.             The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data are in the form of sentences and statements in the Emma and Biography of Jane Austen. The technique used in analyzing data is content analysis. The steps taken in analyzing are reading and understanding the psychology and story in the novel. This step will make it easier to research using theory extrinsic element theory of Renne Wellek and Austin Warren (1948) and personality psychology from Freud’s (1962).             The results of this research there are extrinsic elements of the author which consists of literary relation with the biography, psychology, society, and idea of an author. The extrinsic elements influenced the author in creating a work on personality psychology Emma as a matchmaker in finding love consists of Id, Ego ad Superego. This research it was found that the personality of Id from Emma is more dominant and the Ego tends to follow the wishes of the Id. Superego about the principle of values and morals are also widely found. Emma really holds the values and morals of how she acts in society

    This study is about Syntactic Structure of Coordination on the English Translation of Surah Al-Mulk. The purposes of this research are to find out the types of constituents to form syntactic structure of coordination on the English Translation of Surah Al-Mulk and to explain the distribution of syntactic structure of coordination on the English Translation of Surah Al-Mulk. The data is formed as sentences having syntactic structure of coordination on the English Translation of Surah Al-Mulk. Method of the research in this study is analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method. To collect the data, the writer used documentation method. The steps to analyze the data are reading, collecting, and numbering the data. To analyze the data, the writer uses structural grammar. The main theory applied in this study is the theory of Syntax proposed by Francis (1957). The result of the analysis shows that: 1) the types of constituents being combined are categorized in three groups: words which are noun, adjective, verb, and to infinitive; phrase which is noun phrase; and clauses which are independent clause and dependent clause, and 2) the distribution of syntactic structures of coordination on The English Translation of Surah Al-Mulk analyzed based on its function in word, phrase and sentence: two functions in words: as head and as modifier; one function in phrase: as modifier and one function in sentence/clause: as predicate

    Transition Signals Used in Narrative Text

    The purpose of this research is to find out types and the dominant one of transition signals used in narrative text. This research aimed to find out the use of transitional signals in narrative text specifically to find out the types of transitional signals and the accuracy of its use. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative by doing library research. The data were collected by analyzing the transition signal used in five narrative texts. The transitional signals that were analyzed are transitional signals for adding ideas and emphasizing, showing contrast and comparison, showing cause and effect, providing examples, introducing time order or sequence, and concluding or summarizing. The results shows that the transition signals used in narrative text are the transition signal indicates time, comparison, additional idea, and contrast. The dominant transition signal used the transition signal indicates additional idea. The findings shows that the transition signal used on the narrative text is developed in a single central theme.&nbsp

    Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan terhadap kemampuan guru dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran pada SDN 01 Timpeh. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Guru kelas SDN 01 Timpeh. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi terstuktur, dan dokumentasi. Permasalahan yang ingin dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah: Bagaimana meningkatkan kemampuan guru pada proses kegiatan pembelajaran melalui kegiatan supervisi klinis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: meningkatkan kemampuan guru terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar melalui kegiatan supervisi klinis. Dari hasil pelaksanaan didapatkan hasil rata-rata dari siklus I sampai siklus II yaitu, siklus I (75,69), siklus II (91,09). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya kemampuan terhadap guru SDN 01 Timpeh dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran setelah dilaksanakannya kegiatan supervisi klinis.Kompetensi Gur

    An Analysis of Speech The Presidential Candidates Debate of United States in 2020

    This research aims to see the impact caused by candidates presidential of United States in 2020 in use of speech acts, where an utterance contains pragmatic meanings to make the listener do what speaker wants through speech, such as statements, orders, offers, thanks and the forms of speech that had have direct effect is like punishing. This analysis is included in pragmatic theory so that it is useful to increase the knowledge of readers from linguistic circles. In speech act theory, this research focuses on the theory based on Austin (1962) then for the illocutionary acts based on Searle (1979). The researcher applies a qualitative description method to collecting data by Djajasudarma (2006), method to analyze data this research applies a pragmatic equivalent method by Sudaryanto (1993), technique to collecting data researcher applies theory of Djajasudarma (2006), including: tapping records, note-taking techniques. The researcher applies technique of analyze data called the determining element sorting technique by Sudaryanto (1993). There are 309 utterances or 100% of a whole data, while illocutionary acts are further grouped into five parts, they are assertive type as many as 184 utterances or equivalent to 59% then directive type as many as 70 utterances or 22%, then the commissive type with 49 utterances or 15%, followed by the expressive type with 5 utterances or 1.6% and the declarative type with at least 1 utterance or about 0.3% and last perlocutionary acts found in this data were 139 or equivalent to 44%

    Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang guru adalah kemampuan untuk berperan sebagai motivator. Melalui peran sebagai motivator maka guru dapat melihat minat belajar siswa yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketercapaian pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan di sekolah yang mengkaji rendahnya minat belajar siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu 1) Define (pendefinisian), 2) Design (perancangan), 3) Development (pengembangan) dan 4) Desseminate (penyebaran). Pada penelitian ini hanya dilakukan 3 tahap, yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan),dan Development (pengembangan). Bahan ajar matematika berupa CD-Interaktif yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan praktis berdasarkan uji validasi oleh validator dan uji praktikalitas oleh guru dan siswa. Dari hasil validitas dan praktikalitas  tersebut dinyatakan bahwa bahan ajar matematika berupa CD-Interaktif dengan macromedia director dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa khususnya kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Padang

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi komitmen untuk perubahan pada dosen dan pegawai di Akademi Maritim Sapta Samudra Padang. Komitmen untuk perubahan adalah faktor kunci keberhasilan di dalam organisasi dari perubahan organisasi. Oleh karena itu upaya untuk menemukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya menjadi hal yang penting. Penelitian ini menggunakan 35 responden. Analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 17. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga variabel yang signifikan dan positif  berpengaruh terhadap komitmen untuk perubahan. Sedangkan variabel motivasi kerja tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan komitmen untuk berubah. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh pimpinan Akademi Maritim Sapta Samudra Padang untuk menjalankan komitmen untuk berubah dengan meningkatkan kepemimpinan transformasional, partisipasi, dan komunikasi.
