Jamu is one of Indonesia\u27s traditional medicines that is widely consumed by the public. According to a national survey in 2023, nearly 50% of Indonesians use jamu for treatment or maintaining their health. Public interest in jamu has been increasing in recent years, creating more opportunities to generate new jobs. However, a major challenge is the lack of knowledge among entrepreneurs and the public about processing raw materials for jamu and developing innovative products. The purpose of this community service program is to enhance knowledge and skills in processing raw materials into innovative jamu products with high market value. The program\u27s partners are the members of RT 15/RW 5, Tegalrejo District, Yogyakarta. A total of 52 members of RT 15/RW 5 Tegalrejo participated in this activity. The method used in this community service program is service learning, involving the UII pharmacy department and the community on the topic of traditional medicine production, including providing basic information about traditional medicine to the community and conducting preliminary tests to assess initial understanding.. It is followed by a training on making jamu products, such as instant ginger powder, beras kencur drinks, and butterfly pea flower drinks. The activity concludes with a post-test. The results show that this community service program improves understanding of traditional medicine and enhances the community\u27s skills in producing marketable traditional medicine products, which can serve as business ideas in the traditional medicine sector

Packaging design and marketing strategy play an important role in improving product competitiveness, especially for community-based enterprises in rural areas that focus on local economic development. Tanggul Wetan Village offers a variety of superior products made by local business communities, such as bolen, getuk singkong, and prol tape, which have great potential to expand into wider markets. However, several challenges remain, including the lack of innovation in packaging design, the limited use of digital marketing technology, and the absence of effective and sustainable promotional strategies. This community service activity aimed to analyze and develop optimal strategies in packaging design and marketing to enhance product excellence and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8, SDG 10, and SDG 12. The program was implemented using the ADDIE training model, which consists of five stages: analysis of community needs, design of training approaches, development of training materials, implementation of training, mentoring and assistance, and finally, evaluation. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ abilities to create attractive and informative packaging, as well as an increased understanding of digital marketing platforms. Based on pre- and post-assessment data, participants demonstrated measurable progress: packaging design skills increased from 2.3 to 4.1, branding and logo from 1.9 to 3.8, marketing strategy from 2.5 to 4.3, digital marketing from 1.7 to 3.9, and content creation from 2.0 to 4.0 (on a 1–5 scale). Several products were successfully rebranded with better packaging and labeling, making them more competitive in the market. This activity not only increased the marketability of local products but also demonstrated the importance of design and marketing innovation as a pathway for empowering rural communities and supporting inclusive and sustainable economic growth

Creative thinking is an essential skill for students in the 21st century, especially in mathematics, requiring problem-solving and analytical abilities. This study aims to analyze the creative thinking abilities of high school students in solving mathematical problems, analyzed through Sternberg’s legislative, executive, and judicial thinking styles. A mixed method approach was employed, combining quantitative analysis of thinking style questionnaires and mathematics ability tests with qualitative examination of students’ creative thinking task responses and interview data. Nine students were purposively selected from the 37 participants for in-depth analysis based on their dominant thinking styles and mathematical ability levels. These students were analyzed further through their written responses and semi-structured interviews to gain deeper insights into their mathematical creative thinking processes. Students completed a mathematical creative thinking task, evaluated on four indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Findings revealed that all students were categorized at MCT Level 2 (Quite Creative), demonstrating only partial fluency and elaboration. No subject fulfilled flexibility or originality criteria, indicating limited strategic and novel thinking across styles. Interestingly, students with low mathematical ability also reached MCT Level 2, suggesting that creative thinking can be independent of academic performance. Legislative students lacked strategic variation despite their preference for autonomy, executive students relied strictly on procedural methods, and judicial students remained evaluative but unoriginal. Future research should involve a larger and more diverse sample to explore broader dimensions of students’ cognitive processes in mathematical learning. These findings imply that differentiated instruction based on thinking styles may be key to cultivating creativity in mathematics classrooms. The study underscores the need for instructional approaches emphasizing divergent thinking and creative exploration to align with diverse cognitive styles and enhance students\u27 mathematical creativity

Mathematical problem-solving ability refers to the capacity to solve problems through sound decision-making, which is essential for effective learning. Students must be able to think positively, logically, and methodically to address mathematical problems. Based on local cultural knowledge, this study aims to examine how high school students taught using the PAKEM model (Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning) differ in their mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to those taught through direct instruction. The population of this study comprised all Grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanggetada, Tanggetada District, Kolaka Regency. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, consisting of 30 students each from classes X1 (experimental group) and X3 (control group) of the same school. This quasi-experimental study employed quantitative research methods. Data were collected using test instruments, and the analysis techniques applied included Ngain analysis, independent t-test, homogeneity test, and normality test. The research results show that the H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted, with a tcount of 5.239 and a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than the alpha level of 0.05. It indicates that the experimental class taught with the PAKEM model performed better in mathematical problem-solving than the control class taught through direct instruction. Qualitative analysis showed that three students\u27 strong potential in solving mathematical problems through the application of the PAKEM learning model. The pretest and posttest scores show significant improvement: the experimental group increased from 57.90 to 85.13, while the control group improved from 56.57 to 78.13. These results indicate that the PAKEM model, grounded in regional local wisdom, has greater instructional effectiveness than direct instruction in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities

This research explores the role of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in supervising Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia through the lens of legal analysis. The main objectives of this research are to analyze the legal framework governing the authority of the OJK, identify the supervisory mechanisms applied, and assess the effectiveness of supervision of Islamic financial institutions. The method used in this research is qualitative with a normative juridical approach, using primary legal materials in the form of laws and regulations, as well as secondary legal materials derived from literature related to Islamic finance law. The results showed that OJK has strong authority in supervising Islamic financial institutions in accordance with Law No. 21 of 2011. The supervisory system applied uses a risk-based approach combined with sharia principles. However, there are several challenges in its implementation, such as the complexity of Islamic financial products and the need for regulatory harmonization. This study recommends improving coordination between OJK and the National Sharia Council-MUI, developing more adaptive supervisory technology, and increasing supervisors\u27 competence in sharia aspects to strengthen the effectiveness of supervision of Islamic financial institutions.

This thesis discusses the Reseller system in Online Buying and Selling Practices from a Sharia Economic Law Perspective (Case Study of an Online Shop Fhie Store in Seletreng Kapongan Village, Situbondo). This researcher aims: To find out the mechanism of the 0nline reseller buying and selling system at the Fhie Store; To find out what the reseller system is from a sharia economic law perspective. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative. The research location at the Fhie Store online shop is located on Jalan PP. Nurul Iman Setonggak Seletreng Kapongan Situbondo. The research instruments used were cellphones, notebooks, interview guides. The data collection technique in this research is qualitative analysis. From the results of this research it can be seen that buying and selling using the reseller system in the Fhie Store online shop is a transaction that explains the properties of the objects or goods being bought and sold, all of this is done by order and in these transactions the reseller and consumer do not meet directly, and also the goods There are no ones for sale because they can only be shown in the form of photos with the specifications and prices stated in the photos. If viewed from the perspective of Sharia Economic Law, the reseller system in the Fhie Store online shop still needs to emphasize the principle of responsibility. Meanwhile, the principles of honesty and fairness are sufficiently applied in buying and selling transactions. The reseller system implemented in the Fhie Store online shop for resellers should broaden their knowledge of Sharia Economic Law. Meanwhile, consumers should be more responsible for the goods they have ordered so that they do not cause loss and disappointment to both resellers and online shop owners. The implications of the reseller system in online buying and selling are because online buying and selling with a reseller system is easier to do and does not interfere with other activities, but there is a risk in it if the person doing the buying and selling is not trustworthy
