No full textThis research explores the meaning, meaning, and essence of the philosophy of science as well as the relevance of epistemology in the dynamics of modern knowledge. Philosophy of science plays a key role in shaping a critical, systematic, and rational scientific thinking framework. In the era of rapid development of science and technology, the philosophy of science serves as the basis for distinguishing legitimate scientific knowledge from pseudoscience. In addition, the philosophy of science helps direct the development of knowledge by emphasizing the importance of valid and reliable scientific methods. Epistemology, as a branch of the philosophy of science that studies theories of knowledge, also plays a key role in assessing the validity and reliability of information, especially in the digital age where misinformation and disinformation are often widespread. With a qualitative approach based on literature study, this study examines the role of philosophy of science in supporting the development of science and technology and the importance of the epistemological framework in keeping scientific integrity. The results of this study show that the philosophy of science not only serves as a theoretical foundation, but as a practical tool to face modern challenges in science, including artificial intelligence and big data

Education has a close relationship with the teaching and learning process and school is the place where learning takes place. In the learning process, the main elements that must exist are teachers and students. For the elementary school level, the teacher is the main source of learning, although in practice the role of the teacher can be replaced by using instructional media. Thus, in the latest educational curriculum implemented in Indonesia, teachers can also be referred to as facilitators in learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance of the role of education in developing character 5.0. The method used is qualitative. Usually conflict is naturally present in any cooperative relationship between individuals and groups. Conflict will be positive if it can be managed properly through conflict management built by a leader in his or her own right. The principal becomes a leader in running the organization of the school's educational institution. The role of the principal of MI Nahdlatul Ulama II is certainly required to be able to manage the conflicts that occur in MI Nahdlatul Ulama II. This study aims to find out how the strategy or type of handling carried out by the principal in conflict management as an effort to realize teamwork performance. The method used in this research is qualitative research and the type of research, which includes field research using phenomenological design. The results of this study show that principals manage conflicts with strategies of collaboration, accommodation, and compromise. No full textThe teacher is a leader whose job is to be able to organize, monitor and direct all activities in the learning process at school. The purpose of this research is to explain how teachers apply professional ethics to increase student satisfaction at SMP Telkom Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation and interviews. The survey results show that teacher professional ethics can increase student satisfaction because SMP Telkom Pekanbaru teachers carry out their work as teachers professionally and satisfactorily, and the implementation is effective, this shows that things are going as expected. Teacher behavior is governed by the Teacher Professional Ethics, which reflects the noble values expressed in their actions, creates a good school atmosphere, and applies professional ethics by seeking information about students

No full textThis study aims to manage online learning in increasing activities student learning during the covid-19 pandemic for the future, especially in the long term like what we are facing right now with Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19) which doesn't exist yet stop. Through analyzing online learning activity questionnaires through the opinion of an educator or the teacher's point of view with the research sample being 45 teachers who teach at the State Vocational High School in the city of Padang. The instrument used is a questionnaire distributed online using the ms.form link. Based on the data obtained,shows that the implementation of online learning has been carried out effectively seen from the teacher learning model readiness activity. From the results obtained, the teacher's readiness in addressing online learning using a learning model, namely 50% of teachers stated very ready, 20% said they agreed, 10% said they were not ready, 15% said they were not ready and 5% stated when they were not ready to process online learning models, with good results found from the management of educator readiness in online learning in the future can anticipated to be more effective by looking at the deficiencies and obstacles found in the field through this research

No full textThis study aims to analyze; 1) the effect of information literacy on teacher performance at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi; 2) the effect of strengthening character education on teacher performance at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi; 3) the effect of information literacy and strengthening character education on teacher performance at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of ex post facto research. This study examines three variables to be studied to determine how much influence the independent and dependent variables have. The population in this study were 116 teachers and the sample in this study was 90 teachers SMP Negeri Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study found that; 1) there is a significant and positive influence between information literacy variables on teacher performance at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi; 2) there is a significant and positive effect between strengthening character education on teacher performance at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi; and 3) obtained a significant effect between the variables of information literacy and strengthening character education on teacher performance at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

No full textThe purpose of this research to know the effect of Quantum Learning disertai Speed Test toward result of students mathematic at the seven Grade of SMPN 1 VII Koto Sungai Sariak. This research is pre-experimental study with research design randomized control group only design. The population in this research is the students of class VII SMPN 1 VII Koto Sungai Sariak. Sampling using random sampling technique with class VII7 as experiment class and VII6 as control class. The result of this research is the result of cognitive. Based on the final test, the mean score of experimental class was 74 and the control class was 67. The result of t- test tcalculate was 2.29 and ttable was 1.66 with and . Therefore tcalculate > ttable means H0 denied and H1 accepted. So, it was concluded that there is an influence of the Quantum Learning with Speed Test toward the result of students’ mathematic at the seven grade of SMPN 1 VII koto Sungai Saria

No full textReading materials for elementary school students need to be adapted to the level of cognitive development at the concrete operational level. One source of reading that is suitable and liked by students is comics. The purpose of this study is to theoretically examine the role of comics in learning in order to increase knowledge and attitudes towards environmental care. This type of research is library research. Literature research has a data collection method by taking data from various references, reading, taking notes, and processing research materials. The data collection technique in this study was to find data from various references related to research problems. The instrument used is a checklist for the classification of research materials. The results showed that educational comics could increase students' knowledge of disaster mitigation. This is because the non-fiction elements in the mitigation concept that are packaged in visuals and fictional storylines can make students enjoy reading. The concept of disaster mitigation in comics can also foster an environment care attitude

No full textThis research started from researcher’ observation on English students’ ability that still low at seventh grade SMP N 1 Ranah Pesisir, and students’ opinion of English is bored and difficult. Based on the problems, this research purpose was to analyze students’ difficulties in understanding English learning, especially Reading Comprehension and Structure. The research method was descriptive qualitative. The research sampling was seventh grade students at SMPN 1 RanahPesisir, in choosing the sample was used purposive sampling technique. It was done because its class had mean score which low than others. More than 50 % of students got score under Minimum Completeness criteria. To get the data, the researcher had done interview for the students and English teacher, then done observation and document that were gotten the score of reading and structure material. From the result research were gotten that reading and structure understanding at seventh grade students SMP N 1 Ranah Pesisir, low. 40% from 25 students were difficulties in understanding them. The students difficulties of reading and structure understanding was caused less students’ concentration in learning, students’ learning habit which mistake, and students’ bored in English learning, beside teacher rarely did correction on students’ task

No full textThe observation results show that there is no teaching material in the form of modules used bymathematics teachers at SMAN 1 Painan. Based on the problems and research objectives, this type ofresearch is a quasi experiment. This research was conducted on two groups, namely the experimentalclass using guided inquiry-based modules and the control class using conventional learning. Thepopulation in this study were all students of class X MIA SMAN 1 Painan for the academic year2020/2021 which consisted of 5 classes. To get the sample class, namely the experimental and controlclasses, the random sampling technique was used. Class X.MIA 4 was chosen as the experimentalclass and class X.MIA 3 was chosen as the control class. The instrument used was a test consisting of5 questions on concept understanding tests. The data analysis used the t test because the data werenormally distributed and homogeneous. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significance levelof 0.0035 was obtained. It means that Ho is rejected, this means that the understanding of students'mathematical concepts taught by using guided inquiry-based modules is better than conventionallearning
