No full textTotal Quality Management is an approach to an organization that focuses on quality and is based on the participation of all human resources and is aimed at long-term results and success through customer satisfaction and providing benefits to members of the organization. The main customers in this study are students and parents. The National Standards contained in PP No. 57 of 2020 have set national quality standards for education. Quality improvement in schools is the responsibility of all school members. In addition, the teacher is an important key in improving classroom learning which will later have an impact on improving the quality of education. All resources and efforts have been made in the process of improving the quality of schools, one of which is the application of sustainable national education standards. Furthermore, there is continuous TQM. In the development of models in achieving the quality of education is very necessary in the realization of education itself. Given the importance of the implications of quality assurance in the learning process, the RANISH quality development model was designed in the process of improving the quality of education. This research uses qualitative research methods with the DBR (Design Based Research) method approach. The DBR method is felt to be very suitable because the DBR method aims to provide solutions to any problems that arise and is relevant in order to develop a quality development model in educational units because it is able to bridge theory and practice. The recommendations for the RANISH quality development model are felt to be appropriate because they are based on precise and measurable quality control. No full textThe fading of character values among students today makes things developed by future generations to come in the school environment such as a lack of care for the surrounding environment, littering, paying attention to school walls and student morale. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Adiwiyata school policy and the success of character education in Telecommunications Junior High School. The research method uses qualitative with descriptive research type. The research was conducted at the Pekanbaru Telecommunications Junior High School with the research subjects being principals, teachers, students, and janitors. Data were collected through interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results showed that the Adiwiyata policy as the implementation of character education at the Telecommunications Junior High School in Pekanbaru was running well according to the goals set because it was carried out through the stages of character education development

No full textScholarships are a work program that exists in every college and school. The scholarship program is held to ease the burden on students in taking their studies. STKIP Pesisir Selatan is one example of a university that has many scholarship programs to be distributed to every student and student who is financially underprivileged but has the determination to continue their education and excel during their schooling. The purpose of this research is to process the automatic selection of scholarship recipients using a system through a decision support system combined with the Weigted Product method so that prospective scholarship recipients can be directly determined and will make it easier for universities to determine which prospective students will be selected. Of the 5 samples used, the 3 highest scores obtained with percentages of 0.27 (Meri Anjeli), 0.27 (Ririn Dwi Putri), 0.23 (Fauzia Ramanda) which will be used as guidelines in making decisions on the selection of scholarship recipients

No full textThis activity aims to provide an understanding of the application of digital media in the manufacture and documentation of official letters carried out at SMPN Padang Pariaman Regency. Based on observations, it is known that the structure and language used in official letters are still not in accordance with the rules of the Indonesian language. In addition, it was also found that the preparation and storage of archives in schools was still inadequate. School archives or documents are arranged in a cabinet, so it takes a long time to find them and is not well maintained due to improper arrangement and storage. Therefore, an activity is needed to correct errors in writing official letters and documenting existing school archives. No full textThis study aims to determine the practicality of mathematics learning media created using the powtoon application for Class XI Busana students at SMK Negeri 6 Padang. This research will reveal the level of practicality of using learning media using the powtoon application both from teachers and students after using this learning media in the learning process. The learning media that has been developed and the previous questionnaire sheets have been validated by the validators.Based on the results of the research, it shows that the learning media developed are practically visible from the practicality test results obtained from the teacher's response and student responses. The practicality test results obtained were 81,73% for teacher responses and 77,03% for student responses

No full textAmal Saleh Foundation is a religious organization managed by students. Students are the future successors of a nation. Students are a benchmark for the sustainability and goodness of a country, the birth of YAS has an important role in shaping the character of students at public colleges, Padang State University, therefore this study aims to explore activities at the Amal Saleh Foundation in Shaping Student Character. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach (case study design). Data sources were taken from twenty informants through in-depth interviews. The informant is an active student of the General College of Padang State University and is also a Santri of the Amal Saleh Foundation. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation studies. All interview results were then analyzed Thematically using the Nvivo12 qualitative analysis software. Overall the results of the analysis show that there are four activities at the Amal Saleh Foundation in Shaping Student Character, namely: i) Ta'lim, ii) Tahsin, iii) Sunday morning lectures and iv) Safari Ramadhan. The results of this study have also proven that Amal Saleh Foundation is successful and has an important role in producing students with character

No full textThis study aims to determine the effect of the variables (1) leadership knowledge on the effectiveness of the principal's work, (2) managerial competence on the effectiveness of the principal's work, (3) leadership knowledge and managerial competence together on the effectiveness of the principal's work. Research respondents were principals of public elementary schools in Rokan Hilir Regency, totaling 305 people with a sample of 173. Data was collected through questionnaires as a research instrument. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence of leadership knowledge on the work effectiveness of the principal of 0.707, and there was a positive and significant influence of managerial competence on the work effectiveness of the principal of 0.603. Meanwhile, together there is an effect of leadership knowledge and managerial competence on the effectiveness of the principal's work of 0.55

The research method used to develop this module is the Research and Development version of Borg and Gall simplified by Anik Ghufron, Anik Ghufron's simplified Borg and Gall development model has four steps: 1) Preliminary Research, 2) Development, 3) Field Testing,4) Product Deployment. This study uses one way of collecting data in the form of validation questionnaires. The results showed that the module developed was declared feasible with the validity value of Materials Specialist 3.16 and Media Expert 3.67. No full textThe reality that occurs shows that students' mathematics learning achievement has not been in line with expectations. Students' mathematics learning outcomes based on test scores, there are still many students whose scores are below the specified KKM, which is 77. If you pay attention when learning takes place, it seems that many students are less interested in learning mathematics. Especially if the math class is at the last hour. This is one of the obstacles students are not motivated to learn mathematics. In addition, learning activities have not optimized student-centered learning models, so that the learning process feels less interesting so that students' understanding of mathematical concepts is still low. This study aims to determine the effect of the TTW strategy in improving learning outcomes in terms of understanding students' mathematical concepts. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental). The population in this study were students of class XI SMAN 1 Painan, class XI IIS 4 as the experimental class and class XI IIS 1 as the control class. The instrument used is a concept understanding test. The results of the hypothesis in this study are that students' understanding of mathematical concepts who take part in learning using the TTW type cooperative learning model is higher than students who use conventional learning. This means that the TTW type cooperative learning model has a good effect on students' conceptual understanding

No full textThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PPKn learning in Shaping the the civic disposition of Students at SMA Negeri 1 Concong, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The benefits of the results of this study for all parties are being a source of learning, contributing ideas in the world of education, especially those relating to the influence of PPKn learning in Shaping the the civic disposition of students in schools. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the data collection instruments used in this research are observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires consisting of 16 statements. The population in this study were all students of SMA Negeri 1 Concong, Indragiri Hilir Regency, totaling 200 students. Sampling in this study used proportional random sampling technique. Then a simple random sampling technique was used with a sample of 50 students. Based on the results of research on the effect of PPKn learning in Shaping the the civic disposition of Students at SMA Negeri 1 Concong, Indragiri Hilir Regency, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between PPKn learning in Shaping the the civic disposition of Students at SMA Negeri 1 Concong, Indragiri Hilir Regency of 74%
