No full textDeveloping a quality culture in educational institutions can be achieved by developing educational innovation, extracurricular, cultural innovations, student personality traits, as well as academic and non-academic achievement development programs (School Engagement). The implementation of school quality development culture program encountered several obstacles including the lack of understanding of how to implement the 2013 curriculum. The application of the principles of transformational leadership and continuous mentoring to teachers in class assignments and responsibilities is a possible solution. The approach taken by the principal through the management approach is as follows: First, the planning phase which sets quality goals and communicates these goals to the school community. Second, the organizational stage by establishing an organizational structure, determining the main tasks and assigning or delegating tasks of authority. Third, the leadership phase consists of teacher training, assisting teachers and staff, observing teachers during learning, motivating, discussing results, focusing on quality goals, and following up. Fourth, the stage of monitoring and evaluating ongoing school programs. In addition, the results of this paper will describe the impact of transformational leadership on the development of innovation and work culture in leadership education. No full textThe purpose of this research is to find out and explore the principal's management State Vocational High School 6 Padang on learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods, with the determination of selected participants (purposive sampling). Data collection is done through interviews, and field observation. We conducted data analysis using qualitative analysis methods. Results research shows that the leadership role of SMK Negeri 6 Padang in ensuring education is carried out through 3 main things, namely LMS development, LMS use training, and online teacher performance assessment. All of these leadership practices are forms of adaptive leadership that adapts to the conditions of the distance learning process that must be carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic

No full textThis study aims to (1) find and analyze how big the contribution of the homeroom leadership style, organizational culture and homeroom leadership style to the effectiveness of classroom management at SMP Negeri Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis.The population in this study amounted to 110 people at 9 State Junior High Schools, the sample/respondent of the study was 87 homeroom teachers in State Junior High Schools in Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. No full textThe Purpose of the study is describing the steps of collaborative educative supervision periodically in preparing learning plans, implementing, assessing learning achievement, carrying out follow-up on student learning achievements that can improve teacher performance. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 3 Ibun, Bandung Regency, starting from supervision on March 7th. until September 2018 This performance improvement is carried out through periodic collaborative educational supervision. The data collection method in this study consisted of four main activities, namely initial data collection, data analysis results at the end of each cycle, as well as other responses from teachers to the implementation of collaborative educational supervision. No full textThe policy issued by the government regarding study from home during the COVID-19 pandemic has created new problems in learning in schools. Students assume that study from home is a holiday activity that they enjoy at home. This kind of learning also causes students to feel bored because every day they face very monotonous activities. This study aims to describe the problems of pedagogy with study from home (SFH) in learning English at SMP Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. As the subject of this research, four English teachers teach grades VII, VIII and IX at SMP Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir. From the data analysis, the researchers obtained the results, namely, 1) the absence of online study from home learning training, so that teachers still lacked experience in improving online SFH learning activities. 3) Limited time with SFH online makes students unable to complete school assignments on time. 4) Lack of parental concern for students because parents are still pretentious with the online SFH learning system, they are not used to being involved in the learning proces

No full textThis study aims to determine the effect of Words of The Day and words grouping activities on the Vocabulary learning outcomes of grade VIII students at MTs.S Bahrul 'Ulum Pesisir Selatan. The research was conducted in class VIII MTs.S Bahrul 'Ulum, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is a quasi-experimental class using experimental class and control class. The research subjects taken were students in class VIII MTs.S Bahrul 'Ulum, Pesisir Selatan Regency. Data collection techniques that will be carried out in this study are tests and documentation. Data collection using student learning outcomes tests is intended to get an overview of the learning outcomes of groups of students taught using Words of The Day and word rouping activities against groups of students taught using conventional learning methods. Documentation is used to obtain data about the list of names of students who are the research subjects. The results in this study indicate that (1) that the Vocabulary learning outcomes of students using the Words of The Day learning method and word rouping activities are better than the learning outcomes of students using conventional learning methods with the value sig. (2-tailed) 0.020 < α 0.05, (2) there are differences in learning outcomes. Before and after students' Vocabulary groups used the Words of The Day learning method and word rouping activities with the value sig. (2-tailed) 0.002 < α 0.05

To explain what form of child questions about sex and to explain the obstacles faced by parents in providing sex education to children aged 6-13 years in Sungai Kuyung Kecamatan Pancung Soal Sub-District. This research is field research with descriptive qualitative methods. In the determination of the sample the author uses snowball sampling. The results of the research that has been conducted in Sungai Kuyung River Village are parents trying to provide sex education to the child and answer the child's questions about sex. Here parents play a role in teaching child sex abuse by applying when entering the parent's room by asking permission before entering, teaching how to look at the situation seen by the child.
