This study is about the siger as a cultural symbol: an analysis of its form and philosophy in the traditional customs of Lampung. The purpose of this study is to describe the siger as a cultural symbol: an analysis of its form and philosophy in the traditional customs of Lampung. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results show that Siger Saibatin, with seven curves (sigekh lekuk pitu), symbolizes the seven titles in the Saibatin customary order and reflects the gentle, harmonious character of the community, as well as aesthetic values and family honor. Meanwhile, Siger Pepadun, with nine curves (sigekh lekuk siwo), symbolizes the nine clans in Abung society, showing social hierarchy, unity, and solidarity between clans, while also showing the firm and strong nature of the Pepadun community. Both types of Siger serve as cultural symbols that are not only bridal decorations, but also a means of passing on traditional values, life philosophies, and the social identity of the Lampung community. This study confirms that Siger is an important symbolic medium in preserving Lampung culture amid the currents of modernization and globalization, as well as being a reference for education, cultural documentation, and strategies for preserving Lampung's traditional heritage
TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL PENDIDIKAN MADRASAH: PERAN STRATEGIS EMIS DALAM TATA KELOLA BERBASIS DATA
In the digital era 4.0, the transformation of public management in the Islamic education sector faces challenges such as the lack of student data integration, inefficient manual reporting, and gaps between central policies and regional implementation, which hinder transparency, accountability, and data-based decision-making under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This study analyzes the role of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) as a strategic instrument to realize data-based governance in 707 madrasahs (mostly private) in Sidoarjo Regency, as well as to identify obstacles to its implementation. Using a descriptive-exploratory qualitative approach, this research involves purposive sampling of informants such as EMIS operators and madrasah principals. Primary data was collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation, while secondary data came from a review of relevant literature. Findings show that EMIS has successfully integrated key data on institutions, students, teachers, and infrastructure via a dashboard and structured data collection process, supporting the planning of BOS assistance and the development of madrasahs efficiently and in real-time. However, significant obstacles include limited digital infrastructure, low human resource capacity among operators, and weak regulatory coordination, resulting in data validity gaps

DINAMIKA PERILAKU INDIVIDU GURU DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP IKLIM ORGANISASI DI SMP NEGERI 3 AJIBARANG
This study focuses on analyzing the dynamics of teacher behavior and its influence on the organizational climate at SMP Negeri 3 Ajibarang. Variations in teacher behavior, including work motivation, discipline, communication skills, and adaptability to change, create significant differences in the implementation of tasks and daily interactions. This diversity not only impacts the effectiveness of cooperation between teachers but also shapes collective perceptions of the school's organizational climate. Using a qualitative approach through a case study design, this study was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. These methods provide a comprehensive overview of work patterns, social interactions, and contextual factors that influence teacher behavior. The results indicate that positive behaviors, such as open communication, consistent discipline, and a willingness to cooperate, contribute to the creation of a harmonious, conducive, and productive organizational climate. Conversely, less adaptive behavior often creates obstacles in the coordination and implementation of school policies. Factors that encourage positive behavior include the principal's participatory leadership, a collaborative work culture, a clear organizational vision, and recognition of teacher performance
PENGUATAN HUMANISASI DALAM PRAKTIK PENDIDIKAN DI SMK SWASTA DI JAKARTA MELALUI PERSPEKTIF PAULO FREIRE
Vocational High Schools (SMK) have a strategic role in producing human resources who are ready to enter the world of work. However, vocational schools are also required to form students as fully critical, reflective, and socially caring human beings. This article analyzes educational practices in private vocational schools in Jakarta using the framework of Paulo Freire's humanization and dehumanization theory. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach through the literature study method, which examines internal school documents, national literature on literacy, and critical pedagogical theory works. The results of the study show that there is an imbalance between the vision of humanist education and daily practices that tend to be dehumanistic. The dominance of lectures, hierarchical relationships between teachers and students, a technically-oriented curriculum, and a weak critical literacy culture are the main challenges. This article offers strategies to strengthen humanization, including the integration of critical-humanistic curriculum, project-based learning, strengthening critical literacy, dialogical classrooms, and teacher capacity building through critical pedagogy. The implications of this study confirm that vocational education should not only focus on the needs of the labor market, but should also function as a vehicle for student liberation and empowerment
PENGARUH IKLIM ORGANISASI, MOTIVASI KERJA, DAN EFIKASI DIRI TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SMA DI KECAMATAN PALMERAH JAKARTA BARAT
This study aims to analyze the influence of Organizational Climate, Work Motivation, and Self-Efficacy on the Performance of Senior High School Teachers in the Palmerah District, West Jakarta. Teachers play a strategic role in determining the quality of education, making it essential to understand the factors that affect their performance. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 126 teachers selected through proportional sampling. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring four key variables: Organizational Climate (X₁), Work Motivation (X₂), Self-Efficacy (X₃), and Teacher Performance (Y). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 27. The findings reveal that all three independent variables significantly affect teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.240 indicates that 24% of the variance in teacher performance is explained by these variables, while the remaining 76% is influenced by other external factors. The F-test result (F = 12.857; Sig. = 0.000) confirms the simultaneous effect, while the t-test results show significant partial effects from Organizational Climate (t = 4.178; Sig. = 0.000), Work Motivation (t = 4.340; Sig. = 0.000), and Self-Efficacy (t = 1.998; Sig. = 0.048). These results emphasize that teacher performance is shaped not only by individual competence but also by environmental and psychological factors

Vocational education plays a strategic role in preparing competent human resources to meet job market demands. However, 40% of vocational high school graduates experience a mismatch between their competencies and industry needs, primarily due to teachers' suboptimal performance in aligning the curriculum (link-and-match). This study investigates the simultaneous influence of transformational leadership, work motivation, work discipline, and organizational culture on teacher performance in vocational high schools located in the Pulogadung industrial area, East Jakarta, Indonesia. Using a cross-sectional quantitative design, data were collected from 116 teachers in five accredited vocational high schools through a validated questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. Multiple linear regression analysis with classical assumption testing was applied. The findings indicate that all four variables significantly influence teacher performance (p < 0.05), with organizational culture showing the highest relative contribution (standardized β = 0.328, t = 4.567, p < 0.001). The combined model explained 76.9% of the variance in teacher performance (R² = 0.769, F = 89.234, p < 0.001). Transformational leadership (β = 0.245), work motivation (β = 0.278), and work discipline (β = 0.167) also showed significant positive effects.
