Promising Feature and Challenge of Utilizing Erythropoietin Hormone to Support Emergency Teams’ Activities at High-Altitude Geographical Area
After being deployed for any disaster or emergency, both civil and military emergency teams are expected to quickly adapt to a relatively extreme condition of geographical region, such as the possibility of hypoxia in a high-altitude area. In areas with limited amounts of oxygen, an approach to consume a certain dosage of Erythropoietin hormone could be considered to accelerate the red blood cell maturation of the emergency teams’ personnel. Based on its common clinical properties in treating anemia conditions of chronic renal failure patients, this short communication proposed advantages and limitations of the utilization of the Erythropoietin hormone for supporting emergency teams’ performance in terms of hypoxia condition. Because this hormone has been approved by health authorities and widely used for therapeutic purposes, this approach could be wisely considered and further developed with quite a similar purpose in terms of humanity, i.e., to help many victims of the affected area
THE INFLUENCE OF SOCIO-ECONOMICS ON POLITICAL AWARENESS IN THE EFFORT TO INCREASE A NATION'S RESILIENCE (CASE STUDIES OF FIVE MAJOR CITIES IN INDONESIA)
The existence of an income gap in political participation is explained in this article using Stylized Facts. This study examines the relationship between income and political consciousness in five major Indonesian cities using population, Growth Domestic Product (GDP), health spending, and education spending. The population effects GDP and the proportion of income allocated to Education and Health. In five main cities in Indonesia, income inequality will affect political consciousness. The population affects GDP, which in turn affects the proportion of income allocated to Education and Health. An acceptable allocation of wealth to Education and Health affects political awareness since it influences an individual's aptitude and capacity to reason about their political perceptions
TELER Performance as Real-Time Intrusion Detection and Threat Alert Based on Web Log-In Detecting Directory Bruteforce Attacks on Websites
TELER is a real-time intrusion detection and weblog-based alerting tool that runs on the terminal. TELER is designed to be a fast terminal-based threat analyzer. The IDS (intrusion detection system) is needed to help web administrators secure their servers. This study aims to test the TELER performance as real-time intrusion detection and threat alert. This study tries to implement an open-source application called TELER based on Golang. The IDS testing method on the web server this time uses directory brute force with the result that TELER can detect an attack and provide prompt notification to the web administrator when an attack occurs on the web server. The result of this study shows that the TELER successfully sent notifications to the Telegram, Discord, and Slack applications when an attack or intrusion occurs. Based on the experiments conducted in this study, Slack is the most effective application for receiving directory brute-force attack notifications. The average time for Slack to receive attack information is 0.03 seconds. TELER was successfully proven to detect cyberattacks

Public Policy for National Economic Recovery through the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy of the Republic of Indonesia
In the past two years, the resilience of the national economy has been tested by shocks from the unprecedented global crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic that began to spread in Indonesia in early 2020. By implementing various policies, the government reacted quickly to revive the economy. On the contrary, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia realizes that global uncertainty and challenges are the factors in government decision-making regarding the formulation of an effective and efficient national economic recovery strategy. This national economic recovery also involves the defense sector in accelerating and implementing policies. Defense economy is closely related to the use of the defense budget during peacetime. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a lot of refocusing, one of which was the reallocation of the defense budget to support social safety nets in the form of direct cash assistance. This research aims to find out how far the Indonesian government has gone through the national economic recovery policy after the COVID-19 pandemic in various aspects. Descriptive qualitative research methods are used. In this study, national economic recovery contains decreasing public mobility in the context of controlling COVID-19, fiscal policy as a shock absorber, price stabilization, improving the quality of human resources through the Pre-Employment Card program, encouraging MSME development through the expansion of the MSME sector, and continuing structural reforms including components that must be met regarding government policies for economic recovery and price stability, according to the study findings
Conceptual Model Measurement of Total People’s Defense and Security System Readiness Based on Land Defense
The Universal People's Defence and Security System (Sishankamrata) is a critical component of Indonesia's national defence strategy. This study proposes the Index of Basic Military Capacity (IKMR) as a reliable and valid measuring instrument to ensure the readiness of its civilian population in facing protracted warfare. we used the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) method to test the relationships between selected variables, validate constructs, and measure the reliability of each variable in developing the IKMR. Our innovative approach enables the government to determine a more effective strategy based on measurement results, ensuring that the civilian population is adequately prepared to defend the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national safety of the country. This study makes a significant contribution to defence research by proposing conceptual model index as the basic of assessing sishankamrata in an exact population
Defense Philosophy Perspectives on the Action of the Indonesian Defense Forces Army (PETA) in Blitar in Indonesian History Education Curriculum
The action of the PETA Army in Blitar in the curriculum of history education in Indonesia is classified as a series of rebellion events. The usage of the phrase rebellion equates the PETA Army Action in Blitar with post-independence rebellion operations. Conceptually, this narrative raises the dilemmatic question of whether heroic actions can be considered acts of rebellion at the same time. From a defense science perspective, the discourse on acts of rebellion is classified as acts of insurgency. An act of rebellion is a criminal act that cannot be allowed. As a result, people are trapped in terms that have negative connotations in describing PETA's heroic struggle in Blitar. Therefore, this paper seeks to straighten out this perspective so that =narratives of history education can be in accordance with defense science. The method used in writing this research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a literature study approach with a variety of literature on the philosophy of defense, philosophy of conflict, and philosophy of peace. The results show that rebellion against legitimate authorities can be categorized as a criminal act or social pathology and must be combated. Meanwhile, rebellion in the sense of revolution to achieve independence in the view of defense philosophy is an effort to achieve peace in the life and security of a nation. This kind of action is in accordance with defense objectives. Based on this, the actions taken by the PETA Army in Blitar were an independence movement to resist colonialism. This research encourages the adjustment of terms in the narrative of historical learning related to the actions of PETA soldiers in Blitar to be clearer, fairer, and more responsibl
Godfatherism and Electoral Security in Nigeria’s Fourth Republic: A Human Security Approach
This study delves into the intricate relationship between godfatherism and electoral politics in Nigeria's Fourth Republic, with a specific focus on the 2018 gubernatorial election in Osun State. Godfatherism has emerged as a prevalent phenomenon in Nigerian politics, where influential figures play significant roles in shaping political outcomes. Using a human security analytical approach, this study critically examines the link between godfatherism and electoral politics in Nigeria's fourth republic and its implication for human security, focusing on the micro-political analysis of the Osun state gubernatorial election in 2018. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this study draws on descriptive research methodology and the Elite theoretical framework to uncover the complexities of godfatherism and its implications for electoral politics. The findings indicate that godfatherism, despite its potential benefits for the democratic balance of power, has taken an unsettling turn in Nigeria's electoral environment, thus posing grave dangers to human security. It has evolved into a disruptive force, undermining the foundations of popular democratic governance and denying citizens the full dividends of democracy. The study highlights how godfatherism influences candidate selection, party loyalty, and electoral outcomes. Moreover, the study reveals that godfatherism perpetuates a system of political patronage, compromising the independence and accountability of elected officials. It also examines the consequences of godfatherism on the unity of political parties, electoral malpractices, and the quality of democratic representation in Osun State. In conclusion, this study underscores the need to reevaluate the role of godfatherism in Nigeria's electoral politics while advocating for reforms in the political system to promote transparency, accountability, and citizen participation
Construction of Airplane Landing Mathematical Models With Drag Chute
In this article, we analyze the dynamics of a airplane landing using a parachute called a drag chute. As long as the aircraft makes a landing until it comes to a complete stop, the airplane experiences two times the air drag, namely the air resistance that appears before the drag chute is used and after it is used. From the calculation, we obtain that the distance is shorter than without using a drag chute
