The Role of Organisational Capabilities in the Competitiveness of Hotels in Southwest Nigeria
Inadequate organisational capabilities have led to various problems for many hotels with a growing limitation in their ability to perform. Several studies relating to organisational capabilities and organisational performance have been conducted in the literature but none of these have investigated organisational capabilities as a predictor of competitiveness in the hospitality industry in Nigeria. This study therefore investigated the role of organisational capabilities in the competitiveness of selected hotels in South-west Nigeria. The study adopted cross-sectional survey research design. The population was 2,750 management and supervisory staff of 37 selected hotels in Southwest Nigeria. The sample size of 450 was determined using the Slovin sampling formula. A proportionate stratified sampling technique was employed to select the respondents. A structured and validated questionnaire was used to collect data. Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients for all the constructs had an average of 0.728. The response rate was 77.3%. Data collected were analysed using descriptive and inferential (multiple and hierarchical regression) statistics. Findings from the study indicated that organisational capabilities had significant and positive effect on competitiveness at (Adj. R2=0.337; F(6,340)=30.251; p<0.05) of selected hotels in Southwest Nigeria. The study concluded that corporate culture, managerial knowledge, human capacity and innovation management are key resources for driving competitiveness of hotels in Southwest Nigeria
Solvability of Forward-Backward Stochastic Partial Differential Equations with Non-Lipschitz Coefficients
In this paper we study the solvability of a class of fully-coupled forward-backward stochastic partial differential equations (FBSPDEs). Lipschitz conditions are usually required for the well-posedness of such FBSPDEs. We showed that the Lipschitz conditions can actually be removed by the Yosida Approximation Scheme
Stochastic SIR Household Epidemic Model with Misspecification
The stochastic SIR household epidemic model is well discussed in [3], [4], [5] and also in [1]by assuming that the infection period distribution is known. Sometimes this may wronglybe assumed in the model estimation and hence the adequacy of the model fittness to thefinal size data is affected. we examined this problem using simulations with large population size and theoretical parameters in which the final size data is first simulated with exp(4.1) infectious period distribution and estimated with Gamma(2,4.1/2) infectious period distribution and vice versa. The estimates of the two dimensional models are further explored for a range of local and global infection rates with corresponding proportion infected and found to be biased and imprecise
An Empirical Study of the Telecommunication and Economic Growth in Nigeria
This study examines the impact of telecommunication on economic growth in Nigeria. The study’s model is based on Solow’s augmented growth theory where labor, capital and technology are the sole determinants of economic growth. Thus, economic growth is estimated through classical least squares and fully modified ordinary least squares techniques co integration and error correction model. The finding shows that labor employed, capital stock, real investment in telecommunication and electricity supply are statistically significant to economic growth in the short run equilibrium in Nigeria. Therefore, positive economic growth is attainable when efficient and well-coordinated policies are implemented on labor productivity, price management, investment promotion and constant electricity supply. The study used GDP as a proxy of economic growth. Secondary data from NBS, CBN and NCC which were corroborated with data from ITU, WTO and World Bank Development Indicators were used for the analysis. Based on established theories, existing empirical studies and available data, six independent variables (Telecommunications revenue, telecommunications Investments, Teledensity, Agriculture, Unemployment and Electricity consumption) were regressed on the dependent variable (GDP) using Multiple Regression Analysis. The study includes labor employed, capital stock, real investment in telecommunication and electricity supply to be the repressors and real economic growth to be the regress and using a time series data from 1999 – 2018
Unification of Physics, premises and basic results
It is shown that the measured constancy of c depends on two reasons: the first is the equality c , with u √ the total escape speed (from all the masses in the universe) and U the total gravitational potential, practi-cally constant on Earth; besides, as the said equality implies the massiveness of the light, we may guess its structure as composed of photons having parameters (their length) and frequency (their number, of the same ray, flowing in a time unit). The 2nd reason is due to the interaction light-matter: during the measurement of c, being S a source of light, maybe having a relative velocity from the measurement system R, each incident photon, parameter , , referred to S, is absorbed by an impacting electron (belonging to R) which take on, see Fig. 5, a radial velocity w; thus, due to Doppler effect, the incident frequency, referred to this electron, varies depending on w and and in particular, as w has same direction as the incident photons, see Fig. 5, for it is Then, after the absorption/emission time, the photons re-emitted by the electron (acting as a new source) have (like on Compton ef-fect) different parameters, and see Fig. 2A: in fact, equating the variation of energy of the in-cident/reflected photons to the one of the impacted electrons, see § 1.4, we found ( ) whichever are the values w and So, the measured c turns out to be constant, without the Relativity Theory (RT) support. In the 2nd part, we have considered the electron charge as a point particle (impact point) fixed on the electron sur-face, facing the atom nucleus during the electron orbits, see Fig. 5. On these bases, all the impacts photons-electron move the electron toward higher orbits, and we found that, on H atom, the number of the electron circular orbits is n = 137 (instead of the infinite ones as deemed) while the electron ground-state orbital speed is exactly = c/137; moreover, we found that the quantum numbers are related to the number of admitted photons along each electron cir-cular orbit. As for the claimed fall of circling electrons into their nucleus due to their supposed emission of photons, the electrons are emitting the previously absorbed photons only during the spiral path from higher orbits toward their ground-state, as shown on § 2.4.1. Finally, a specific experiment would show that the compensation velocity (to re-store the resonance source-detector at different height) has opposite direction with respect to the one predicted by RT
On Some Properties of a Class of Analytic Functions Defined by Salagean Differential Operator
In this work, the upper bounds for Fekete-Szego functional and Second Hankel Determinant are obtained for a class of analytic functions definedby Salagean Differential Operator. The estimates obtained are sharp.

The Effect of Hr Practices on Psychological Empowerment in Forming Performance Based on Learning and Growth Perspectives
Over the years, the field of Strategic Human Resource Management has attracted a lot of attention from academics and researchers, especially in relation to employee perceptions of Human Resources (HR) practices. HR Practices (HR Practices) is a process of attracting, motivating, and retaining employees to ensure the survival of the organization. Several aspects in HR practices encourage employees to work better to improve organizational performance. Organizational performance is not an easy matter. Organizational performance is an indicator that can show the level of achievement that the company has achieved and can also be used to reflect the success of the manager / entrepreneur. This is because performance is the result achieved, which comes from the behaviour of company members. The study was conducted on 64 respondents to determine the effect of HR practices on company performance. Linear regression was used as a method of analysis. The independent variable regression coefficient (Beta) is used to determine the direction of the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The level of acceptance of the hypothesis is determined by t-sig; t-sig <0.05 indicates the significance level of the relationship at the 95% confidence level. Research result showed that Training have no significant effect on either Job Competence, Job Autonomy, or Job Impact, however Training have negative effect on Job Autonomy; Reward have no significant effect on both Job Competence and Job Autonomy, however Reward have negative effect on Job Competence, but have significant effect on Job Impact; Management Style have significant effect on all Job Competence, Job Autonomy, and Job Impact; Job Competence and Job Autonomy have no significant effect on Organization Performance based on Learning and Growth, but Job Impact does
Research on the Influences of Customer Perceived Value on Customer Loyalty ─ A Case Study of Xiaomi Company
With the improvement of living standards, cellphones have been replaced more frequently. Manufacturers of smart products must maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty to achieve sales targets. The important marketing goal of modern companies is constantly improving customer satisfaction and loyalty to expand the number of loyal customers. This paper proposes the components of customer perceived value based on the analysis of the relevant literatures on customer perception theory, which are functional value, emotional value, social value, price value, relationship commitment value, and access convenience. Taking Xiaomi as a case, this paper puts forward a marketing strategy to improve customer loyalty from the perspective of customer perceived value. Through this study, social value, emotional value, price value, and relationship commitment value have a significant positive effect on attitude loyalty and behavioral loyalty; functional value does not have a significant positive effect on the attitude loyalty and behavioral loyalty of general consumers; access convenience only has a significant positive effect on behavioral loyalty but has no significant positive effect on attitude loyalty. To enhance customer loyalty, social value, emotional value, price value, and relationship commitment value should be strengthened. However, if customers are expected to not only have their attitude loyalty, but also actually take actions to generate behavioral loyalty, in addition to strengthening social value, emotional value, price value, and relationship commitment value, companies should also focus on improving access convenience
On the vanishing cohomology theory of some operator algebras
We concerned with the vanishing of the dihedral and reflexive cohomology groups of stable -algebra. Wodzicki has proved that the cyclic cohomology of stable -algebra is vanished. We extend this fact to prove that the reflexive and dihedral cohomology of this class are also vanish
