    The behavior of soil appropriate to earthquake and maritime problems may studied by performing alternating cyclic simple  shear and  triaxial  tests. The main purpose of this present research, is  to evaluate the strength reduction of saturated untrained   clay soils under direct shear cyclic stress. The test results revealed that such reduction exists and it increased with increasing cyclic stress amplitude , confining pressure  , the number of loading cycles and with decreasing sample thickness . The results indicate that there is a lower limit to the cyclic stress ratio below which cyclic loading has a negligible effect on clay softening . It is observed also that the direct cyclic strength is greater than the Triaxial cyclic strength which conforms with the published results

Considering increase in energy demand bidirectional converter is widely used. the study aims to design and implement a Half bridge non isolated bidirectional DC to DC converter using fuzzy logic. In the presence of dc mains the converter operates as buck converter and charges the battery. When the dc mains fail, the converter operates as boost converter and the battery feeds the load. In both the modes the power switches are controlled by PWM technique and the PWM pulses are generated by application of fuzzy logic controller. The proposed converter with controller is implemented and simulated in MATLAB and the design is validated

And as a normal human behaviour, we all believe in something if it keeps on spreading and coming back to us over and over again. The problem with social media networking services like twitter is that it is addictive and youth tends to spend most of their time on these platforms just to connect with someone but mostly got influenced by the biased opinions about a certain individual or an event and made by their own judgement on the basis of all the lies they keep seeing on social media. It is going on ever since. You heard something about someone and you made a tweet about it and bam within two or three hours, your tweet is being retweeted by millions and a huge flood of those tweets made a headline in the news. That’s how easy it is today to mould the truth. Sure we got the access to almost everything but it is because of our choices and desires we are making the world suffer by a single lie. In this project, we tend to find the difference between the rumours and the true facts by finding the origin source of rumoured tweets by our classifier. We propose an algorithm by which we can track the origin and eliminate them by using the various modules. This project have many applications for news anchors, politicians etc. and it will help in eradicating the false news that can affect the society in a bad way

    All plant species contain some secondary metabolites with marked functions which make them unique. Majority of the disorders and ailments are cured with diverse source of plant species. Most of the plants are bestowed with antioxidant activities. The methanolic extract of the Majorana hortensis (M. hortensis) leaves proved to be a rich source of antioxidant due to phytochemicals present. Pilot study proved methanolic extract to be most potent and hence it was used for extended assay. Further studies have been carried out in the current paper to identify the different components which contribute to the antioxidant activity. Advanced techniques like Thin Layer Chromatography, High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Infra Red spectrum authenticated the methanolic extract of the M. hortensis leaves to be a rich source of antioxidant.
