    The Influence of Sales Promotion and E-Service Quality on Shopeefood Users' Purchasing Decisions on Dr. Soetomo University Surabaya Students

    This study aims to determine the effect of sales promotion and e-service quality on the purchasing decisions of ShopeeFood users  in Dr. Soetomo University Surabaya students both simultaneously and partially and to determine the dominant variables on the purchasing decisions of ShopeeFood users. This research is quantitative research with causal research methods. The population in this study is all students of the faculty of administrative sciences, Dr. Soetomo University who are active until the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 586 people. The target population in this study is students of the faculty of administrative sciences who have made purchase transactions through ShopeeFood and have taken advantage of one or more forms of sales promotion offered by ShopeeFood. The sample size is 100 respondents who have been distributed through questionnaires. This study uses the Probability Sampling technique  with the type of Simple Random Sampling in collecting respondents, and uses the Yamane formula in determining the sample because the number of populations in this study is known in number. Furthermore, the analysis data uses instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis tests, F tests, t tests, and determination coefficient tests. The results of this study show that sales promotion and e-service quality have a significant influence both simultaneously and partially on the purchasing decisions of ShopeeFood users  and e-service quality is the dominant variable affecting the purchasing decisions of ShopeeFood  users in Dr. Soetomo University Surabaya students

    The Role of the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget and the Village Development Index in Reducing Poverty Rates (Cases in Provinces in Indonesia)

    This research aims to analyze the influence of the village income and expenditure budget (APBDes) and the village development index (IDM) on poverty levels. APBDes in this study is proxied by the variables of village original income, village funds, village fund allocation, village development expenditure, community development expenditure, and community empowerment expenditure. This research uses 33 provinces in Indonesia for the 2018-2023 period with the panel data regression analysis method. Data was collected from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency and the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration. The results of this research show that the original village income variable has a negative and significant effect on the poverty level, expenditure in the field of community empowerment, and the village development index has a positive and significant effect on the poverty level. Meanwhile, the variables village funds, village fund allocation, village development spending, and community development spending do not have a significant effect on the poverty level

    Financial Services Authority Laws Against Non-Bank Financial Institutions Based on Outlaw Financial Technology

    The jurisdiction of the Financial Services Authority to oversee non-bank financial institutions operating illegally on the basis of financial technology is outlined in Article 9 of Law No. 21 of 2011 concerning the Financial Services Authority. POJK No. 10/POJK.05/2022 regulates the legal proceedings initiated by the Financial Services Authority in response to violations committed by such illegal financial technology institutions. The objective of this research was to evaluate the current regulatory structure that oversees Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) that engage in Online Financial Trading (OFT) and to pinpoint any regulatory shortcomings or challenges faced by financial authorities in their oversight of these companies. This study employs the Statutory Approach, the Case Approach, and the Analytical & Conceptual Approach to conduct normative research. Descriptive analytical methods were employed to acquire the data, and a qualitative approach was utilised to analyse both primary and secondary data. The research findings indicate that. The Financial Services Authority lacks the authority to regulate and enforce illicit fintech. The government established an Investment Alert Task Force (SWI) comprised of twelve ministries/institutions and financial services authorities, including those tasked with overseeing online loans and other illicit financial practices, in order to combat illegal fintech. OJK educates the public about the perils of illegal fintech and implements SWI in accordance with POJK Number 10/POJK.05/2022OJK so that it is possible to take decisive action against those who harm society through illegal fintech

    Legal Protection of Consumers on the Sale of Vitamin D3 Without a Distribution Permit BPOM in the Digital Marketplace

    Digital trade has resulted in many health products being sold online through marketplaces. According to the facts that have occurred, several vitamin D3 that do not have distribution permits or imitations are sold in the digital marketplace. Vitamin D3 without a distribution license or imitation certainly causes harm to consumers. This is because the products received do not contain the proper composition of vitamins and can endanger human health. The purpose of writing is to forms of legal protection for consumers who are harmed and settlement of consumer disputes that are harmed due to vitamin D3 without a distribution permit in the digital marketplace. The approaches used are statutory approach and conceptual approach. Internal legal protection is obtained from agreements in the marketplace. External protection for consumers who are harmed by vitamin D3 without a distribution permit can use Article 143 of Law No.17 of 2023 concerning Health and Article 4, Article 8, Article 19 of the of the Consumer Protection Law and Article 1365 of the Civil Code that business actors must be responsible and fulfill consumer rights in getting returns as before. However, consumer legal protection for the sale of vitamin D3 in the digital marketplace is not optimal because it is influenced by factors of legal substance, legal structure and legal culture. Dispute resolution can be filed by consumers in non-litigation through BPSK and litigation through the court

    Initiating a Multicultural Tourism Village to Overcome Disasters of Intolerance and Social Disintegration

    The religious aspect is one of the prominent determinants shaping diversity in Indonesia. Recently, there have been many problems in the relations among religious adherents, especially related to cases of intolerance, radicalism, and social polarization. This is a significant threat that can potentially bring about social disasters, namely conflict and national disintegration. Therefore, innovation and solutions are needed to mitigate these social disasters. This research aims to identify the potential for social, cultural, and natural capital of local communities in Central Java Indonesia, which is related to social diversity, and optimizing these potentials through social engineering in the form of a Multicultural Tourism Village so that it can become a role model in the learning and dissemination of national values and multiculturalism through educational activities. The results of the study show that local communities in Kalisat Hamlet Central Java have great potential to be developed into a tourism village called Kampung Bhinneka or Diversity Village due to their natural, social, cultural, and human resources. The strongest potential found in the Kalisat Hamlet’s community is the diversity of religions adhered to by the community, but the relations among the adherents are intertwined in harmony and balance. This potential is the principal capital for developing edu-tourism to learn directly from the community about the practice of diversity and multiculturalism in the form of Kampung Bhinneka Tourism Village

    Implementation of Technologocal Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in the Malaysian-Indonesian National School

    This research is to improve learning outcomes, teacher and student competence. To find out the effects of the TPACK (Technological, Pedagogic, Content Knowledge) strategy, a workshop will be held for teachers and students in schools. This research is intended to help teachers to improve their teaching competence using technology and also help decision makers to see the benefits of training using modern technology-based learning strategies which provide a solution that can be implemented in the PBM process. Apart from that, the application of TPACK is also given to students directly to get and experience the use of technology in all lines of learning up to the evaluation system. Community service was carried out on 23 - 25 July 2023 at the Johor Bahru Indonesian School, Malaysia. This service involved 27 teachers including the school principal and 122 junior high school students. In this activity, the priority is to improve teacher competency and student learning outcomes after implementing TPACK. Starting with pedagogical theory material, continued with the practice of using several learning media including QR codes as a platform for creating barcodes for teachers, Mentimeter and Padlet and continued with conducting evaluations using Kahoot media. All of these media have been given training and practice to teachers and have been given directly to students. The results of the analysis of the implementation of community service have reached a satisfaction rate of 100% with the very satisfied category.

    Exploring Pancasila Students Profile Character through Multiple Learning Objects in History Education

    This research aimed to achieve three primary objectives: (1) develop multiple learning objects incorporating the Pancasila student profile for history learning, (2) enhance the dynamism of the teaching and learning process through vibrant media featuring engaging colors and symbols, and (3) assess the validity of the material, media, and language employed. The research employed the research and development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE model for systematic development. The study focused on students in class X.10 at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya, employing data collection methods such as interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the research revealed the following validity scores for the multiple learning objects containing the Pancasila student profile in history learning: poster media expert validation at 81.81%, videos at 70%, and history dominoes at 51.42%. Additionally, material expert validation reached 89.41%, and language expert validation was at 75.55%. Notably, the incorporation of media demonstrated a positive impact on student learning outcomes, contributing to a significant increase of 31.51%

    Analysis of Electronic Word of Mouth Factors on Interest in Buying Culinary Products in The City of Surabaya

    This research analyzes the effect of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) factors to the purchase intention of culinary products in Surabaya. Five e-WOM factors are identified including Platform Assistance (X1), Expressing Positive Feelings (X2), Economic Incentive (X3), Helping the Company (X4) and Concern for Others (X5). This research uses quantitative approach of multiple regression analysis. Questionnaire as research instrument were randomly circulated (random sampling) to social media users in Surabaya city with three research objects which include contents and commentary sections taken from Instagram platform. The analysis concludes that e-WOM factors simultaneously affect purchase intention on culinary products in Surabaya while partially only two factors include Expressing Positive Feelings (X2) and Economic Incentive (X3) that have significant effect

    The Role of Sustainable Heritage Management in Local Economic Development to Improve Community Welfare

    The city of Surakarta, or also known as Solo, is a city that rich in cultural heritage. Solo city is also famous for its strong traditional Javanese culture, including music, dance, batik and wayang. Cultural heritage management in preserving the values and works of original cultural heritage is one of the priorities in the local economic development strategy in the City of Surakarta. The history of Surakarta with its various stories and cultural heritage can become an important capital in economic development which is expected to be able to boost regional economic growth, especially in improving community welfare. This research aims to identify important aspects in realizing sustainable cultural heritage management in Surakarta; and analyzing the potential for developing values that influence the success of sustainable cultural heritage management in Surakarta in realizing local economic development, especially in terms of community welfare. The data used in this research is primary data, then analyzed using the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The results of the research show that there is an influence of sustainable cultural heritage management on community welfare and has significant characteristics. Variables such as economic potential development, environmental potential development, social potential development and partial or joint (simultaneous) cultural potential development as manifestations of sustainable cultural heritage management have a positive relationship to local economic development

    Parental Stress, Social Support and Postnatal Depression: A Quantitative Correlational Study Design

    This study examines the relationship between parental stress, social support and postnatal depression among teenage mothers at Kasangati Health Centre IV Nangabo, Kyadondo in Wakiso district. The study employed a correlation study design where the chi-square was used to examine the first three study hypotheses and then the Baron and Kenny (1986) regression analysis was used to test the fourth hypothesis. Data was collected from using a systematic random sampling strategy where 103 teenage mothers from Kasangati Health Centre were selected. Results indicate that parental stress is not significantly related to postnatal depression x2 (1, n =103) = 0.137, p=0.711. Additionally, there is an association between parental stress and social support (x2 (1, n =103) = 5.992, p=0.014). Social support and postnatal depression are not significantly correlated x2 (1, n =103) = 0.12, p=0.913. For the fourth hypothesis, social support does not moderate the relationship between parental stress and postnatal depression. The study concludes that teenage mothers who experience less social support are more likely to face postnatal depression than those who experience more social support.
