The Influence of RMT-Based Learning on Concept Understanding Ability, Spatial Reasoning, and Self Regulated Learning of Junior High School Students
Get PDFThis study aims to describe the influence of the RMT-based learning on students' concept understanding ability, spatial reasoning, and self-regulated learning, as well as to describe the superiority of the RMT-based learning over the scientific learning in terms of the average ability of concept understanding, spatial reasoning, and self-regulated learning. This is a quasi experimental study with the subjects of students in class VII.3 as the experimental class and VII.4 as the control class in one of the State Junior High Schools in Moro, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands in the 2023/2024 school year. The instruments used were tests and non-tests. The validity evidence was based on expert judgment while the reliability estimation was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. To see the influence of RMT-based learning on students' concept understanding ability, spatial reasoning, and self-regulated learning, Hotelling test was used. Meanwhile, to see which learning is superior in terms of the average of each variable, the Independent Sampe T-test was used. The results of the study at the 5% significance level showed that there is an influence of RMT-based learning on the ability of concept understanding, spatial reasoning, and self-regulated learning of students and RMT-based learning is superior to the scientific learning in terms of the average ability of understanding the concept of spatial reasoning, and self-regulated learning of students

Analysis of Women's Role in Poverty Alleviation (Case Study of Province in Indonesia 2018-2022)
Get PDFThis research aims to analyze the mapping of the distribution of poverty and the female labor force participation rate between provinces in Indonesia using the Klassen typology and to analyze the influence of the female labor force participation rate (TPAKP), women's income contribution (SPP), gender development index (IPG), and the rate of economic growth against poverty in Indonesia. The analysis used in this research is klassen typology analysis and multiple linear regression analysis of panel data. The results of the research simultaneously show that the variables TPAKP, SPP, IPG and the rate of economic growth have an effect on the poverty rate in Indonesia. So, in efforts to eradicate poverty in Indonesia, it is necessary to have the role of women who are actively involved in economic activities in Indonesia

Get PDFThe philosophy of punishment, which in terms of epistemology is a kind of philosophy of / mozaf philosophy, deals with the why and the basis of punishment and serves as an answer to the question of why we punish. Regarding answering this question, the subject law has tended towards two approaches, punitive and utilitarian. The first approach is retrospective and is concerned with punishment and the implementation of justice, and the second approach is looking for benefits. In the meantime, the study and analysis of Islamic sources reveal the fact that Islam's view of the philosophy of punishment is more comprehensive and coherent, and in addition to the characteristics and strengths that originate from the revelation of its teachings, there are elements of the punitive and utilitarian approach. In this research, the author has found that the philosophy of punishment in Islam, in addition to paying attention to justice as a basic principle in all Islamic rules and regulations, pays attention to the individual and social goals of punishment
The Role of Stakeholders as Moderation on the Effect of Visioning, Affiliating, Altuiristic and Autonomous on Intention to act as a Local Champion in Tourism Villages
Get PDFLocal champions play an important role in the development of tourism villages. This research aims to determine the influence of characteristics of local champion: visioning, affiliating, Altruistic and autonomous toward Intention to act as a Local Champion in tourism villages, which is moderated by the role of stakeholders. This quantitative research involved 115 respondents from five tourism villages in Lombok. Data was collected using questionnaire and analysed using Smart-PLS. The results show that visionary, Altruistic and autonomous have positive and significant effects on Intention to act as a Local Champion. Meanwhile, affiliating has a negative and insignificant effect. Interestingly, the role of stakeholders is unable to moderate the influence of visionary, affiliated, Altruistic and autonomous on Intention to act as a Local Champion. The current study provides recommendations for community empowerment activities, especially in tourism villages
Utilizing Abandoned Land for Public Interest: Agrarian Reform
Get PDFThis research examines the policy of utilizing abandoned land and its implementation in the agrarian reform program in Indonesia. The results of the research show that there are various obstacles in utilizing abandoned land, such as overlapping ownership, lack of accurate data, and resistance from inactive land owners. However, the policy of utilizing abandoned land has great potential to support agrarian reform if it is supported by a clear legal framework, coordination between institutions, and active community participation. In conclusion, utilizing abandoned land for public purposes can be an effective solution in agrarian reform, as long as it is carried out with a holistic and inclusive approach. The government needs to strengthen regulations, increase transparency of land data, and ensure the involvement of various parties to achieve the goal of just and sustainable agrarian reform
The Influence of Brand Image and Perceived Ease of Using Ovo E-Wallet in Shopping at Tokopedia in Surabaya
Get PDFThe objective of this research endeavor is to evaluate the combined and cumulative impact of the OVO e-wallet's brand image and perceived usability on the purchasing experience at Tokopedia in Surabaya. Quantitative causal research techniques were utilized in this study. The research sample comprised 100 respondents who were recruited through a questionnaire. These respondents were chosen from the community of Tokopedia customers who frequently used the OVO e-wallet for payment reasons in January 2023. The Cochran method was employed to calculate the sample size from an undisclosed total population, which required the employment of a non-probability sampling technique to get participants. Furthermore, do a comprehensive study of the data by employing several statistical tests such as the F test, coefficient of determination test, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis test. The research findings indicate that the choice to utilize the OVO e-wallet for transactions at Tokopedia in Surabaya is influenced by two factors: the general reputation of the brand and the perceived simplicity of its usage
Analysis of Determinants of Digital Adoption of Small and Medium Micro Enterprises in Surakarta City
Get PDFThe city of Surakarta has grown to become the center of the digital ecosystem in Indonesia. The government has made various efforts to increase collaboration and creativity between various sectors. However, based on the level of digital adoption of micro, small and medium enterprises in the city of Surakarta, it is still low, so policy innovation is needed to increase digital adoption for business actors. This research aims to analyze the influence of business actor characteristics and business characteristics on the level of digital adoption of micro, small and medium enterprises in the city of Surakarta. This research uses cross-sectional secondary data with secondary data sources obtained through the Surakarta City Cooperatives, SMEs and Industry Department. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data analysis methods use univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The research results obtained 2,425 samples, of which 1,821 business units (75.09%) had utilized digital adoption and 604 business units (24.91%) had not yet utilized digital adoption. Business experience, type of business and business capital have a positive and significant effect on the level of digital adoption of micro, small and medium enterprises in the city of Surakarta. Based on the results of this study, the researcher provides recommendations for the Surakarta City government to utilize the role of digital adoption in formulating policies for the empowerment and development of micro, small and medium enterprises in the City of Surakarta because micro, small and medium Enterprises play an important role in economic growth in the City of Surakarta
Artificial Intelligence and Understanding of Religion: A Moral Perspective
Get PDFThis article discusses how artificial intelligence (AI) and religious understanding are interconnected, as well as the moral impact of AI's role in interpreting and influencing religious beliefs and practices. The research aims to explore how the development and use of AI might affect religious values and practices, whether AI can support or disrupt spiritual experiences and worship, and how this technology can be aligned with religious moral teachings. The moral challenges that may arise from the interaction between AI and religious beliefs include the privacy of religious data, algorithmic bias against certain religious groups, and the impact of AI on religious freedom. By using data from existing literature and real-world applications, this research investigates the ethical challenges and opportunities posed by AI in a religious context. The main questions are: How do AI systems affect religious interpretation? What moral conflicts might arise from AI-mediated religious understanding? How do various religious communities perceive and adapt to AI's involvement in their spiritual practices? The research methodology employs a qualitative approach with an in-depth literature review and content analysis of case studies involving AI and religion. The findings suggest that while AI can provide new insights and facilitate interfaith dialogue, there are ethical concerns related to authenticity, bias, and the potential loss of traditional religious authority. The study emphasizes the importance of developing strong ethical guidelines and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that AI's integration into religion respects and enhances moral and spiritual values
Physical Fitness and Mental Health of Indonesian University Students in the Post-Pandemic Era: A Descriptive Perspective
Get PDFPhysical fitness and mental health are among the most important elements influencing student success. However, sports science students' physical performance and mental wellbeing have received much too little consideration. This study aimed to obtain empirical data on university students' physical performance and mental health after the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted physical and mental health. This study determined the impact of the pandemic on the physical fitness and mental health of university students. This empirical study was conducted at two universities in Surabaya, Indonesia. Data were collected in August 2023. Four hundred university students completed the self-administered survey. Three hundred thirty-seven students completed the survey in full. 70.6% were undergraduate students, the average semester was 3.8, and the average age was 22. 35.8% were female students and 64.2% were male students. The findings indicate that the student's physical fitness and their mental health is moderate. These results are relevant to regional and international audiences, as university students face similar physical and mental challenges after the pandemic and related public health interventions. Low-threshold initiatives are needed to mitigate the impact of the pandemic. These may include interventions to strengthen students' sense of control, belonging, relaxation, mindfulness, and counseling services. Gender differences need to be addressed
