Impact of Sociability with the Mediating Role of Work Ethics on Social Identity among Faculty Members of Amirkabir University
No full textThis research aimed to investigate the impact of sociability with the mediating role of work ethics on social identity. The research method used was descriptive, and the research design was correlational using structural equation modeling. The entire statistical population consisted of 672 faculty members of Amirkabir University, and a sample of 200 individuals was selected through stratified random sampling based on Krejcie and Morgan's table. Data were collected using three questionnaires: Taormina's Sociability Questionnaire (1997), Richard Chenkin's Social Identity Questionnaire (2008), and Ghasemzadeh's Professional Ethics Questionnaire (1393). The results of structural analysis indicated a significant positive relationship between social identity and work ethics. there was a significant negative relationship between sociability and work ethics. Additionally, there was no significant relationship between sociability and social identity. Ultimately, organizational sociability and social identity have a significant relationship with the mediating role of work ethics
Assessment and Management of Lateral Elbow Tendinopathy: A Single Case Study
Get PDFLateral Elbow Tendinopathy (LET) leads to functional disability and is a challenging pathology to manage. The objective of this study is to present how the LET of a male patient was managed by myself in clinical practice. A 55-year-old male hunter developed LET on his left elbow two months prior, after holding a gun for five hours during a hunting trip. The patient complained of lateral elbow and forearm pain, pain that intensified upon palpation, shoulder flexion-extension, wrist dorsiflexion and hand grip. The objective assessment showed clear neurological examination and radial nerve neurodynamic test, restricted shoulder and wrist range of motion (ROM), and positive Maudsley’s and Mill’s special tests. The treatment plan focused on pain control, tendon healing, muscle flexibility, progressive strengthening of wrist and elbow muscles and tolerance increase of the tendon. Different modalities were used, with emphasis given on a combination of different types of exercise. The patient attended 15 sessions in 5 weeks. Considerable progress was made by the end of week 5. From the patient assessment, the derived diagnosis was left LET, and the rehabilitation plan which was evidence-based, proved to be effective
Analysis of Compliance Reporting of State Officials' Assets in the Regional Government of Manokwari Regency
Get PDFTransparent and accountable management of state finances is a necessity in facing global uncertainty. In this context, compliance with the reporting of state administrators' assets is an important aspect in effective state financial management. This research aims to analyze compliance with reporting of state administrators' assets within the Manokwari Regency regional government through the implementation of e-filing of State Administrators' Asset Reports (LHKPN). This research uses a normative legal approach with library research methods. Data was collected through analysis of official documents related to wealth reporting and related literature. The research results show that compliance with reporting the assets of state administrators in Manokwari Regency is still limited. This compliance is influenced by several factors, including a lack of awareness and technical capability in using LHKPN e-filing, as well as a lack of transparency in state financial management. This research shows that compliance with reporting of state administrators' assets in Manokwari Regency still needs to be improved. To achieve this goal, local governments need to increase awareness and technical capabilities of state civil servants in using LHKPN e-filing, as well as increase transparency in state financial management
Exploring the Translation of Character Development on Children Story (An Appraisal Study)

This element should exist in every story in order to draw readers into their imagination and fantasy, including in the children story which the target is youngers. The development of character depiction in the translation text should be the same as source text. Translator should pay attention in transfering the meaning and choosing diction. This study investigates character development and the translation of children story in the platform Storyweaver using appraisal system. This research is descriptive qualitative research in linguistics and translation. This research aims to identify protagonist and antagonist character from every stages using attitude system, to investigate translation technique, shift, and quality of the children story, and to elaborate the character development and the translation in every stages of children story in the platform Storyweaver. It uses five kind level 4 narrative stories. The analysis of attitude uses appraisal system by Martin & White (2005), translation technique by Molina & Albir (2002), and Translation Quality by Nababan, et al (2012). The result of this research shows that the three subsystems attitude (affect, judgement, appreciation) is used to describe and depict the protagonist and antagonist character. Even though, there are some characters which is not depicted in every stages, the image of the characters are still conveyed. Furthermore, ten translation technique are found, that are established equivalent, explicitation, discursive creation, paraphrase, transposition, modulation, implicitation, deletion, reduction and addition. The shifts are found in established equivalent, discursive creation, modulation, deletion and implicitation. Due to this shift, some images of the character are changed. Therefore, the characters are developed well in each story stages (orientation, complication, evaluation, resolution)
The Role of Non-Structural Employee as a Change Agent in Supporting Organizational Dynamics
Get PDFThe change agent role is usually occupied by company leaders or managers who hold leadership positions and are part of top management. The purpose of this research is to understand the role of a change agent in a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) by conducting a case study at PT PLN Indonesia Power, one of the largest subsidiaries of PT PLN (Persero) in Indonesia. This research uses qualitative research methods. The informants in this study are organic employees of PT PLN Indonesia Power who have been designated as Change Agents by the Board of Directors of PT PLN Indonesia Power for the period between 2017 and 2021. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews and documentation. Then, the data was analyzed using the configurative-ideographic studies case study method through the stages of data collection, and data reduction process, to conclude the data. It was concluded that the role of a change agent as a non-structural employee within PT PLN Indonesia Power includes acting as a coach, catalyst, activator, driver, communicator, solution provider, and mediator. The challenges faced in carrying out the role of change agent within PT PLN Indonesia Power include resistance to change and readiness to change.
The Effect of Brand Salience and Brand Perception on Brand Evangelism of Gili Trawangan Lombok Tourism with Brand Happiness as a Mediating Variable
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effect of brand salience and brand perception on brand evangelism for Gili Trwangan Lombok tourism with brand happiness as a mediating variable, the type of research used is associative research with a quantitative approach using purposive sampling techniques. The number of respondents used in this study were 140 respondents. The analysis method used in this research is Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Last Square (SEM-PLS). The results of this study indicate that brand salience has a positive and significant effect on brand happiness, while brand salience on brand evangelism has a positive but insignificant effect. Brand perception has a positive and significant effect on brand happiness, brand perception has a positive and significant effect on brand evangelism. Directly brand happiness has a positive and insignificant effect on brand evangelism. Indirectly, brand happiness has not been able to mediate the effect of brand salience and brand perception on brand evangelism

The effectiveness of the constitution is closely related to its acceptance and respect by the public. In fact, the level of respect for the constitution reflects the collective nature of the law, the representation of public interests, and the guarantee of fundamental rights for all citizens. Therefore, prioritizing public interests and considering the requirements of social structure are important aspects of the constitution. Despite more than a century of constitutional experience in Afghanistan, the lack of credibility and acceptance of past constitutions has been one of the major challenges in political reform and the rule of law in the country. A future constitution can only be effective if it has public acceptance and national credibility based on past experiences. This can be achieved when the constitution addresses the requirements of Afghanistan's social structure. The religious and ethnical nature of the social structure of afghanistan and the ethnic, religious, and linguistic diversity in the country, are most important characteristics of the social structure that have specific and important requirements.
The Impact of Aerobic Exercise on a Novice Athlete with Crohn's Disease: A Case Study from Greece
Get PDFThis case study explores the impact of moderate-intensity exercise on a 30-year-old male novice runner diagnosed with Crohn's Disease (CD). Initially, his symptoms were managed with probiotics and rifaximin, but he experienced a resurgence after a COVID-19 infection, leading to treatment with budesonide. Despite initial hesitation, the patient resumed moderate-intensity running (60-80% VO2 max) after achieving remission. His bowel function, energy levels, and overall well-being improved significantly with exercise. This case suggests that structured physical activity can be beneficial for managing CD and maintaining remission, even amidst fluctuating symptoms and inflammatory markers. It supports the idea that moderate-intensity exercise, when carefully managed, does not inherently worsen the condition and can enhance quality of life. These findings advocate for personalized exercise programs as part of CD management, though further research is needed to establish comprehensive guidelines and evaluate the long-term effects of different exercise intensities on Crohn's Disease
The Aesthetic Use of Kawi Language in the Song “Lamunan” by Wahyu F Giri: A Stylistic Study
Get PDFThe background of this research is to know and describe the language style contained in the song “lamunan” by Wahyu F Giri. The objectives of this study are: 1) To describe the language style used in the song “lamunan”; 2) Describe the aesthetic use of Kawi language in the song “lamunan”; 3) Know the discourse that Wahyu F Giri wants to convey in the lyrics of the song “lamunan”. This research uses a qualitative method with a stylistic approach. Stylistic study is an effort to explain the beauty in the use of certain linguistic forms, which include aspects of sound, lexical, structure, rhetorical language, figurative language, and so on. The results of the study state that: 1) The song “lamunan” by Wahyu F Giri has a variety of language usage, namely denotative diction, connotative diction, and sensual diction with synesthesia. The dominant use of language in the lyrics of the song “lamunan” is in the rhetorical style and figurative language style; 2) The aesthetic value of the use of Kawi language style in the song “lamunan” lies in the words chosen to provide a description of a complex atmosphere, as well as a nickname to call a special person for the speaker who is imaged as a queen; 3). The song “lamunan” raises a discourse on loyalty and human fantasies of the perfect partner. The discourse of loyalty in the lyrics of “lamunan” describes the determination to be faithful in a long-distance relationship. The lyrics of the song “lamunan” can also be interpreted as a fantasy or fantasy that exists in the speaker's mind towards a perfect figure. By fantasizing, humans can place a perfection of the desire to be achieved in this context referring to the woman that the speaker has always dreamed of
Grammatical and Lexical Density in Narrator Text Writing with Online Learning Platforms
Get PDFThe study on grammatical and lexical density in narrator texts aims to assess the level of grammatical and lexical density in these texts and evaluate the effectiveness of online learning platforms in influencing these linguistic features. The analysis revealed an average lexical density of 55.10% across the examined texts, which is above Ure's 40% threshold for written texts but still categorized as less dense for academic writing standards. The narrator texts exhibited characteristics between spoken and written language, aligning with Halliday's theory. The findings indicate that while students demonstrate basic proficiency in writing narrator texts, there is significant room for improvement in using richer and more complex language. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for specialized training and greater focus on developing writing skills within the animation curriculum, particularly in enhancing lexical density and narrative effectiveness. This research contributes to understanding the linguistic complexity of narrator texts in the context of online learning and provides insights for improving writing instruction in animation education
