Get PDFOne form of public service carried out by the government is the fulfillment of public health needs. The current government-owned health system has proven unable to meet all the needs of excellent public health services. To support the achievement of health development, the government has provided several health facilities along with health workers. While health facilities that are widely used by the community are Puskesmas. Some nurses state that the lack of job satisfaction is due to the high workload and relatively low number of personnel, plus the large number of patients.Conduct periodic evaluations by the Puskesmas or Health Office regarding employee reliability, as well as improve employee responsibility and discipline during working hours and conduct training or training by the Health Office so that they can be more professional in providing services to the community. So that the reliability of employees in providing services becomes consistent and even better

Get PDFThere is a close interdependence between language and philosophy. Language is essential to philosophy, both as a medium for transmitting ideas and as an object of philosophical research. Language needs philosophy to systematically evaluate language problems and find solutions. Philosophy is the attempt to understand and explain reality, values, knowledge, and meaning using logic and reason. However, language is a set of symbols used for informational and mental communication. Without language, philosophy cannot grow and multiply and without philosophy, language cannot reflect or criticize the human mind. Precisely, two basic concepts map the dimensions of philosophy's meaningfulness in language studies: philosophy as a formal object, and as a material object. First, as a formal object; it critically examines the nature, history, and purposes of language. Many factors cause low mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools, both internally for the children themselves and the teacher's ability to manage their learning. The method factors used by teachers contribute to the achievement of elementary school children's mathematics learning outcomes. How much influence the Whole Brain Teaching method has on mathematics learning outcomes needs empirical proof through scientific research. This research aims to empirically prove the influence of the Whole Brain Teaching method on mathematics learning outcomes in elementary school. The research was conducted in elementary schools in the East Jakarta area, DKI Jakarta province. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The sample in this research was SDN Pondok Bambu 11, East Jakarta. This research uses experimental research methods. This approach was chosen to analyse the magnitude of the influence of the independent (exogenous) variable on the dependent (endogenous) variable. Provisions for Separatist Creditors in Executing Rights and Obligations After an Insolvention Situation
Get PDFImplementation of the execution rights of separatist creditors from the perspective of the Bankruptcy Law and PKPU, as well as the application of time limits for the implementation of the execution rights of separatist creditors based on Article 59 paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Bankruptcy Law and PKPU. The object of special collateral held by separatist creditors is part of the bankruptcy assets starting from the time the bankruptcy declaration decision is pronounced, so that its execution is not unaffected by the bankruptcy process. Separatist creditors must begin implementation within two months of insolvency. When the execution has been completed, the separatist creditor is obliged to provide an accountability report to the curator. If there are remaining proceeds from the sale of material collateral, then this portion must be handed over to the curator to be distributed to other creditors. Determining the start and completion of separatist creditors' rights of execution is strictly regulated in the Bankruptcy Law and PKPU, however, when separatist creditors are deemed to have stopped or no longer exercise their rights, there is no definite benchmark
The Name Bor: An Analysis of the Origin, Meaning, and Implications: A Case Study of Bor in the Republic of South Sudan
Get PDFMany researchers, notably in South Sudan and Jongle State, have been concerned about the origin and meaning of the term Bor.The goal of this research was to determine the origin and meaning of the controversial word Bor. The goal was to figure out where the word Bor came from and who Bor's initial residents were. To augment the original data, secondary data was gathered through a review of relevant and credible literature. Group talks and face-to-face interviews were used to generate data. The study found that the name Bor does not mean “lowland with floods,” but a Luo word meaning ‘tall grass’ or word ‘bur’ in the Thony dialect, from the name “Balanda ‘Bor’ which we are yet to research and establish the meaning. Athooc and Gok Dinka were the first to arrive in the area and inherited the name Bor from the first inhabitants (Luo or Balanda) before Nyarweng, Twic, and Hol Dinka, and Greater Bor is not a name but a geopolitical description created by politicians in 2004 as a unifying platform between the four Dinka sections in the area. The study concluded that the name Bor is from the first inhabitants (Luo and Balanda Bor tribes) of the land, and Greater Bor is a geopolitical name contracted by political elites and not a given traditional name. The study suggested that the name Bor be used to refer to the entire territory, from Chuei Keer in the south to Chuei Thon in the north, rather than just Bor County. This could result in the phrase 'Greater Bor' becoming a unifying motif for the three counties of Bor, Duk, and Twic East. Bor County should give up the name Bor to the three counties nearby and rename what remains of Bor County to promote peace and coexistence among the four tribes in the area

Pancasila Student Profile is learning with various aspects of attitude formation, so that education is not just about teaching knowledge but is accompanied by a process of implementing positive values that can shape the character of students. This research uses a qualitative approach method and the research results are analyzed descriptively, the data collection techniques carried out in the research are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the Pancasila Student Profile values implemented in Pancasila education learning include the value of mutual cooperation, namely by getting used to making decisions by consensus (together), achievement in the dimension of global diversity, namely so that students greet each other without discriminating, Meanwhile, critical reasoning and creative thinking are realized through the existence of problems in learning, so that each group member collaborates to solve these problems through critical and creative thinking processes in order to produce appropriate answers based on facts and student knowledge
Analysis of the Translation that Occurs on the Metaphor Inside Celine Dion's Lirics Love Song in Indonesian Language
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the translation of conceptual metaphors in song lyrics. The use of metaphor often appears in song lyrics, as well as in other figure of speech such as poetry. Researcher chose the songs of the world's Queen of Pop, namely Celine Dion, because the lyrics of her songs are known by many people and contain many deep messages through metaphors. Based on this, this research discusses types of metaphors based on Lakoff and Johnson's theory inside twenty-two of Celine Dion's hit songs back then till today. This research also examines the translation techniques used by translators, translation shift, the impact of shifting metaphors and the quality of the translation of the lyrics of these songs. Data collection uses listening, note-taking and documentation techniques. The data was later on validated through a Focus Discussion Group (FGD) by raters and the researcher. From the results of the analysis, it was found that there are structural metaphors, orientational metaphors and ontological metaphors. Structural metaphor is the type of metaphor that is most often used in these hit songs. A total of 12 translation techniques have been discovered in the process of translating the song lyrics. The shift that occurs in the type of metaphor is that orientational and ontological metaphors change to structural metaphors and each type of metaphor also changes to non-metaphor after being translated. This shift had an impact on translation quality and resulted in an average translation quality of 2.71%
Investigating the Use of Video-Based Activities in Teaching Speaking Skills
Get PDFThis study explores the use of video-based activities in improving students' speaking skills and examines students' perceptions of video as a learning tool. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research involved 30 Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta. Data were collected through a one-group pretest-posttest design, interviews, and documentation. Pretests and posttests measured the effect of video-based activities on students' speaking abilities, while interviews provided insights into students' attitudes toward using videos to develop speaking skills. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students' speaking abilities, with average scores increasing from 67.73 to 78.13. Statistical analysis further confirmed the positive impact, as the hypothesis test result of 0.00 was lower than the 0.05 threshold, supporting the efficacy of video-based activities in teaching speaking skills. Qualitative data reinforced these findings, showing that video tasks were engaging, enhanced students' motivation and confidence, and provided valuable practice opportunities. Students also reported that using videos allowed them to express creativity, improve pronunciation, and gain confidence in class discussions. In conclusion, video-based activities proved to be an effective tool for enhancing speaking skills, providing both educational and motivational benefits
“Don’t just be ordinary”: Understanding the Resilience of College Students of Color at a Predominantly White Institution
Get PDFDespite the prevalence of student multicultural centers providing support to students of Color across higher education institutions in the United States, experiences related to marginalization and discrimination remain present on college campuses. Using an ecological systems framework, researchers interviewed seven undergraduates active with their university’s student multicultural center to explore their experiences of resilience more deeply at a Predominantly White Institution (PWI). Findings indicate a need for expanding support for students who experience frequent microaggressions and stereotyping related to their marginalized identities. Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effect of EXO brand ambassador and customer engagement on purchase intention of Scarlett Whitening Body Lotion Tube products on social media both partially and simultaneously and to determine the dominant variable on purchase intention of Scarlett Whitening Body Lotion Tube products on social media. This type of research is quantitative research with causal methods. The target population of this study are all prospective consumers and users of Scarlett Whitening Body Lotion Tube products on twitter and instagram. The research sample used was 100 respondents who were distributed through questionnaires. The sampling technique in this study was probability sampling with simple random sampling. Based on the results of the study, it shows that brand ambassadors do not have a positive and significant influence on the purchase intention of Scarlett Whitening Body Lotion Tube products, while customer engagement has a positive and significant influence on the purchase intention of Scarlett Whitening Body Lotion Tube products, brand ambassadors and customer engagement simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the purchase intention of Scarlett Whitening Body Lotion Tube products, and customer engagement is a variable that has a dominant influence on the purchase intention of Scarlett Whitening Body Lotion Tube products on social media
