    From Visual Art to Visual Waste: Awareness in the Application of Art's Effectiveness and Function

    The purpose of this writing is to examine the results of works of art that are closely related to humans, now starting to emerge unrest like a tangled thread, visual art is present and detached from its main function, namely conveying the aspirations and communication of the creator. The analysis in this paper uses ecological art as a surgical blade, where art does not only exist because of the process of creation into works of art objects, but exists because of the wisdom of creative awareness that cannot be separated from a humanist and ecological sense. This writing is expected to be one of the encouragements for us to always inspire wisely every phenomenon and event that exists, whether it is directly related to us or not. This paper describes the various impacts of problems caused by visual waste, where visual waste does not only affect every living thing that breathes. Visual waste is starting to become a serious problem because of its increasingly naughty and wild existence

    Mechanism for Payment of Replacement Money for Convictions Sentenced to Life

    It is difficult to attach the additional penalty of replacement money attached to life convicts, both for the existence of subsidiary and non-subsidiary crimes. These difficulties are related to existing arrangements and the execution of confiscated goods. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the mechanism for paying compensation to convicts sentenced to life imprisonment. The method used is normative juridical, a type of sociological legal research which is also known as field research. This method involves studying applicable legal provisions as well as real social practices. The mechanism for paying replacement money to convicts sentenced to life imprisonment is to include the concept of confiscation, accommodate all profits that the defendant obtains from the proceeds of criminal acts of corruption and harmonize the subsidiary sanctions of imprisonment for replacement money with the provisions of the Criminal Code

    Legal Protection for Deepfake Victims: Tackling Pornography Crimes in the Age of Advanced Technology

    The purpose of this research is to find out the impact and also legal protection on victims of deepfake technology abuse against pornography. This research uses a normative legal research type with a statutory and analytical approach. Types and sources of legal materials use primary and secondary legal materials. Data analysis will be reviewed prescriptively and qualitatively. The results of this study show that several laws indirectly relate to deepfake porn, namely Law No. 1 of 2024 concerning ITE, Law No. 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography, Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection and Law No. 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence, so that the relationship between deepfake and the crime of pornography can be seen through laws and regulations regarding pornography. And there are several ways or things that victims of deepfake porn can do to get protection, which is indirectly regulated in Law No. 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence

    The Effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) based LKPD on Students' Creative Thinking Ability

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) with the help of LKPD on students' creative thinking skills. The research method on research is experimental. This research was conducted in two different groups, namely  grade 4 students of SDN Selorejo 1 totaling 32 students as an experimental group and grade 4 students of SDN Tladan 1 totaling 32 students as a control group. The questionnaire instrument is used to determine students' creative thinking skills. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using an independent sample t-test with the help of the SPSS 26 application. Based on the results of the study shows the value of sig. 0.000 < 0.05. Thus the null hypothesis is rejected and the research hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is an influence of problem-based learning (PBL) with the help of LKPD on students' creative thinking skills

    Convergence of Mass Communication in Strengthening Feminist Discourse in the Digial Era

    This research examines the convergence of mass communication and its implications for organizational communication, focusing on the Pusat Kajian Perempuan Solo (PUKAPS), which operates within the feminist discourse. Communication convergence is not merely a means of delivering messages but also emphasizes the importance of exchanging and sharing information to achieve mutual understanding. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method with a post-positivist approach, this study finds that the convergence of mass communication and organization plays a significant role in strengthening the existence of the feminist movement. PUKAPS has successfully addressed the negative stigma surrounding feminism by leveraging social media as a distribution tool for feminist discourse to a wider audience, including those who are not well-acquainted with the movement. Digital content disseminated through platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp has encouraged positive participation and interaction between the organization and the public. This study underscores that mass communication convergence within organizations not only enhances communication efficiency but also fosters strong relationships through feedback that encourages discourse. Consequently, PUKAPS can improve its visibility and influence within the feminist movement while facilitating productive exchanges of ideas in the modern era

    Language Acculturation of Javanese and Madurese Communities: Slang Variations of Pendalungan Teenagers in Jember Regency

    This study aims to explain the formation and reasons for the use of slang language of Pendalungan teenagers in Jember Regency. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The research data is in the form of words from Javanese and Madurese acculturation that contain slang language forms and spoken by teenagers in daily communication. Data collection used observation technique supported by listen-engage-note technique. The data analysis technique used is the commensurate (padan) method and the agih method. Based on the results of this study, there are four categories of slang variation formation in terms of morphological formation, namely: (1) Abbreviations, such as the abbreviation LA and the acronym Kardiman. (2) New Words, such as cungucui, pacapa, crème, and tompes. (3) Reduplication, such as ya megaya, and rep sekarep. (4) Inserts, such as cellepnya and ngabesnya. The reasons for using slang consist of five reasons, namely (1) familiarity, (2) solid and concrete, (3) user creativity, (4) group recognition, and (5) enriching vocabulary. The conclusion of the research findings shows the formation of slang language by absorbing Javanese and Madurese as well as new words that are different from the original language. Pendalungan teenagers in Jember district dominantly use slang language which is mixed with Javanese, Madurese, and Indonesian daily language

    The Position and Attributes of Teacher from the Perspective of Islam

    This research has been done to clarify the status of the teacher and his responsibilities in Islam and to clarify the characteristics of a successful teacher in light of Islamic education and to determine the main objectives of the role of the Muslim teacher, which shows the general purpose of this article. The method of this article is a library, authentic books have been used to complete the content of this article. The study concluded that it is not difficult to have an Islamic perspective on the role of the teacher, but we must employ efforts and capabilities towards the desired goal, and that preparing a teacher for his role is no longer a matter based on guesswork, conjecture, imitation and subordination, but rather requires preparation, equipment and development of the teacher's knowledge, skills, behavior and attitudes based on scientific methodology. The role of the Muslim teacher to be a good example in his words and actions, and to succeed in his educational and teaching work assigned to him in the best possible way, and to feel responsible before God Almighty and before society, because this will return with the beneficial benefit to form a Muslim individual capable of facing the challenges of this era and building his Muslim society and free it from impurities and widespread seditions

    Optimizing the Role of Public Prosecutors in Determining Confiscated Goods Confiscated for the State by Third Parties Who Have Good Faith

    The writing of this article was motivated by the polemic regarding determining the status of confiscated evidence, on the other hand, the confiscated evidence for the state left new arrears for the State Attorney, due to a civil lawsuit from a third party who felt aggrieved by the decision. The Prosecutor's inaccuracy in determining which evidence to confiscate for the state can certainly damage the reputation of the Prosecutor's Office as a state institution. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article is to analyze how to optimize the role of public prosecutors in determining confiscated goods that are confiscated by the state, which belong to third parties who have good intentions. The research method used in this research is normative legal research using a statutory approach. Through this research, it is clear that the consequences of confiscating and confiscating evidence resulting from criminal acts make it difficult to return the evidence once the execution has been carried out. Even if a lawsuit is filed in court, arguing that the prosecutor committed an unlawful act as a result of his inaccuracy in identifying the ownership of evidence belonging to a third party, it is not easy to prove because the prosecutor's action was a statutory order in the context of law enforcement. The role and efforts of prosecutors in optimizing the return of property stolen from criminal acts belonging to third parties can be carried out by carrying out preventive efforts

    Criminological studies focusing on the victim has paid attention to the rights of the victim and his support for half a century.The result of this approach is the adoption of international regulations, including the declaration of fundamental principles of justice for the victims of abuse of power, in support of the rights of the victims.This is while the doctrine ofcriminal policy of Islam has paid attention to the victim for centuriesand in proportion to his role in the occurrence of the crime, both rights and privileges have been considered for him as well as duties and responsibilities have been assigned to him.In the meantime, what has been neglected or overlooked in victimology studies so far is the discussion of the duties and responsibilities of the victim and the role of these duties and responsibilities in the managing delinquency and victimization.The present article is a research about the duties and responsibilities of victim in the criminal policy of Islam, which was carried out with a descriptive and analytical method and citing authentic religious sources.The result is that victim assignments are a part of the criminal policy of Islam, which is designed to control crime, prevent victimization and support the victim. These assignments have a wide scope that includes before, during and after the victimizationand it turns the victim into a constructive actor in this field
