    Get PDF
This study examines the extensive initiatives made by SMKN 1 Selong to fortify alliances with different stakeholders in order to maximize its graduates' integration into the labor market. The rising unemployment rate among graduates of vocational schools served as the impetus for the study, underscoring the pressing need for improved industry-school cooperation. The study's qualitative methodology and one case study design enabled a thorough analysis of actual procedures and difficulties. In-depth document analysis, participant observation, and interviews with educators, school administrators, and business partners were all used to gather data. The results of the study showed that a number of strategic initiatives, such as the active growth of industry networks and the purposeful alignment of the curriculum with changing labor market demands, were essential to the partnerships' success. These initiatives improved the relevance of students' skills and increased their chances of finding work. The study did, however, reveal several persistent problems as well: a lack of suitable industry partners in the region, insufficient school resources to support partnership projects, and significant student unpreparedness for workplace expectations. The research, meanwhile, shows that enhancing job results for vocational school graduates calls for great dedication from all parties involved, continuous creative work in partnership models, and continuous cooperation. The study provides analysis and guidance for future research meant to investigate and enhance school-industry cooperation practices, as well as useful recommendations for industry partners and educational institutions

Fundamentals of Peace Strategies in International Relations: A Comparative Study Between Liberal Democracy and Islamic Theory

    Get PDF
The present study attempts to reconcile the principles of peace strategies of liberal democracy and Islam. In this study, it has been clarified that there are commonalities and differences between these principles. Among the differences is that the principles of peace strategies in international relations from the perspective of Islam are based on complete and flawless divine teachings, are not subject to change and transformation, and have a superior position; However, the foundations of the liberal democratic theory are based on the conditions that man has established, and at the top of that pyramid is Immanuel Kant, the founder of democratic peace. The legal foundations used in this thought are of the type of human law, imperfect, unstable, and subject to change. Liberals believe that the culture of democratic peace should be exported to non-democratic countries, either through changing political systems or even through war if possible; But when we consider Islam from an Islamic perspective, it has used various means, including (invitation), for the culture of peace. Still, the common ground between these two theories in terms of fundamentals is that both believe in the primacy of peace in international relations. Both theories consider war as an exception and believe that disputes should be resolved through negotiation. Based on both theories, diplomatic, political, and economic relations between countries create peace and relative tranquility. Many countries prefer relations in these areas and do not consider war as a solution. War is considered a solution when national interests and the goals of the system are at risk. Unfortunately, superpowers are taking advantage of these principles and trying to eliminate weak and so-called non-democratic countries from the international scene by accusing them

    Get PDF
This study focuses on examining the existence of minority religious groups in Madura, along with the various forms of discrimination they experience. The minority groups in question are (former) Shia Muslims in Sampang and the Sunni Salafi Muslim group in Pamekasan, both of which have been recorded as having experienced discrimination from the local community, both culturally and structurally. Starting from the intervention of beliefs that led to the initiation of Shia Muslims into Sunni, the forced closure of places of worship, and the denial of their right to political participation in the 2023 General Election. This study is a field study conducted based on a qualitative approach. Two types and sources of data are used: primary and secondary. After analysing field data, this study found that the existence of minority Muslims in Madura has tended to experience discrimination. The discriminatory treatment includes the intervention of beliefs, such as forcing Shia Muslims to abandon their beliefs and convert to Sunni, closing down places of worship (mosques) of Sunni Salafi Muslims in Pamekasan, and finally, the pressure or mobilisation of the masses containing messages rejecting the use of political rights of (former) Shia Muslims to participate in the 2024 general election (Pemilu), both legislative and executive elections

    Get PDF
Effective speech, delivered in a manner suitable for the audience's situation and position, is the most concise and comprehensive definition that can be offered for rhetoric. In this statement, speech' is used in its broadest sense as an inclusive term that encompasses all its linguistic and semantic components. Consequently, the principle applicable to it can also apply to its constituent parts. Therefore, this study aims to explain the rhetorical functions and capacities of 'pronouns' as part of the components of speech, by answering the question of which rhetorical functions and capacities of pronouns were considered and utilized by Ferdowsi in the story of Zahhak. The present research is qualitative and has been developed using a documentary-descriptive method. This examination revealed that in the story of Zahhak, the rhetorical capacity of pronouns is evident in two main axes: one in the interaction between 'verb' and 'pronoun' both in the form of using pronouns as adverbial complements of verbs and in the form of syntactic displacement of pronouns from nouns to verbs, and the second axis at the level of phonetic speech, both in the process of 'pronoun settlement' and in the form of the impact of pronouns on creating a special phonetic environment to convey the intended meaning and concept of the speaker

The Place of Natural Resources in Islamic Jurisprudence

    Get PDF
Natural resources hold a special position in Islamic jurisprudence. These resources refer to those that are created in nature without human intervention and encompass numerous examples. Islam, with its comprehensive and holistic perspective, asserts that the utilization of these resources is for all generations (the present era and future generations). Anfal, which is one of the manifestations of natural wealth, is—according to the belief of Shia jurists—under the authority of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Imams due to their esteemed status. In the present era, the Wali al-Faqih (Guardian Jurist) manages it in accordance with public interest. This research has been compiled using a descriptive-analytical method. There are differing opinions among Shia jurists regarding the examples of Anfal. In the terminology of Sunni jurists, Anfal differs from its definition in Shia jurisprudence and is considered part of war spoils. Shia and Sunni jurists hold different views on Fei, which is one of the instances of Anfal. Sunni jurists consider concepts such as Jaziya (poll tax) and Kharaj (land tax) as part of it. Generally, one of the characteristics of Anfal is that it is not privately owned, and its use is permitted only with the permission of the Wali al-Faqih for public welfare. In the case of Mubahat Amma (publicly permissible resources), utilization is allowed for the general public, and individuals can gain ownership through possession and appropriation without requiring the permission of the Islamic ruler. However, public property, which belongs to all people and is managed by the government, cannot be privately owned, and its destruction or unauthorized use is a crime. Principles such as the principle of non-ownership, justice, fairness, and environmental protection are among the governing principles governing natural resources
