    Get PDF
Biomechanics is a very important field in sports because it provides in-depth insight into technique, movement efficiency, and athlete safety. In sepak takraw, which requires a combination of high speed, flexibility, agility, and accuracy, biomechanical evaluation plays a very crucial role in optimizing athlete performance while reducing the risk of injury. This study aims to evaluate and analyze movements in sepak takraw. This study uses the SLR method by systematically analyzing various scientific publications from national and international journals to find strategies for optimizing athlete performance based on biomechanical principles. The results of the study indicate that biomechanics can improve sepak takraw athlete performance through optimizing key movements, such as smash, serve, and block. Better technique not only improves movement efficiency but also helps prevent injuries due to excessive pressure on joints and muscles. These findings provide practical implications for coaches and athletes in designing more scientific, effective, and safe training programs. Understanding biomechanical principles allows for better technique improvement and injury prevention, which can improve performance in competition

    Get PDF
Lesson plan is a learning scenario that becomes a reference and pattern for implementing teaching programs for educators, and a systematic and effective learning experience for students. However, designing good learning is still a challenge for novice teachers. This study attempted to reveal the challenges faced by novice English teachers in designing reading instruction by analyzing how they determine objectives, select materials, media and methods, design activities, and develop assessments. This research was a phenomenological study with 5 participants of novice English teachers from state junior high schools in Yogyakarta. Data were collected through documents and interviews. Data were then analyzed by using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014) model. The results showed that novice teachers struggle with formulating appropriate learning objectives, sourcing suitable teaching materials due to limited resources, and utilizing technology-based media effectively. They also face difficulties in implementing innovative methods, varying learning activities to accommodate individual learning styles, and developing assessments aligned with Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Additionally, providing feedback on student learning outcomes remains a significant challenge, impacting the distribution of progress information. These findings emphasize the need for targeted support to enhance novice teachers' skills in module design and professional development

    Get PDF
This study investigated the effectiveness of local cultural wisdom-based entrepreneurship teaching materials in enhancing students' entrepreneurial creativity, focusing on two main variables: creative thinking skills and motivation. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups, involving 180 undergraduate students from three universities in Indonesia. The findings reveal a significant improvement in creative thinking skills in the experimental group, with N-Gain scores in the "moderate" category (0.45-0.56) compared to the control group ("low" category, 0.21-0.29). Additionally, students in the experimental group demonstrated higher motivation levels, reflected in increased interest and confidence in entrepreneurship, as evidenced by higher average scores across various motivational indicators. These results align with the Creative Cognition Theory and the Self-Determination Theory, suggesting that culturally relevant teaching materials foster deeper emotional engagement, enhance creativity, and motivate learning. The study underscores the strategic role of integrating local cultural elements in entrepreneurship education to nurture creative, innovative young entrepreneurs while preserving cultural heritage and strengthening national identity
