Partnership Model between Vocational High Schools and the Industry Sectors in East Lombok Regency – Indonesia
This study aims to account for the partnership model between SMK Negeri 1 Masbagik and the Business and Industrial World (BIW) in East Lombok Regency. Effective collaborations between vocational education institutions and industries are absolutely vital in the age of fast technological development and more dynamic labor market expectations. Data were gathered by means of a qualitative case study approach comprising interviews, observations, and document studies including school leaders, teachers, and industry partners. The results show that the SMKN 1 Masbagik partnership emphasizes curriculum alignment, internship programs, and the active participation of industry in the learning process under a cooperative and mutualistic model. Notwithstanding these initiatives, issues including insufficient industrial partners, insufficient school facilities, and discrepancies in student discipline continue to be major barriers. The cooperation has improved student ability, job prospects, and school-industry ties, though. The study emphasizes the need of sustainable communication, mutual commitment, and government support to strengthen vocational education by means of industry partnerships. Schools, business partners, and legislators get pragmatic advice to improve the efficacy of such alliances. The results also suggest that more extensive research is required to better grasp the dynamic interaction between vocational schools and industries, especially in areas with little industrial development

Analysis of the Shift in Angngaru' Values in the Wedding Ceremony Procession in Gowa Regency
This article examines the changing meaning and function of the Angngaru' tradition in South Sulawesi in the context of modernity. Originally a ritual of loyalty in the kingdom, the Angngaru' tradition has now transformed and been applied in various cultural customary processions, such as wedding ceremonies. This study aims to describe the perceptions of traditional figures regarding the origins of this tradition and identify the shifts in its values in people's lives. Using a qualitative research method with an inductive approach, this study involved interviews, observations, and documentation in Gowa Regency. The main focus of this study is two important events, namely Angngaru' Tomanurung and Angngaru' Tubarani, which reflect the evolution of the tradition in the political and social relations of society. Over time, Angngaru' Tubarani, which was originally sacred, has now transformed into a cultural performance that can be enjoyed by a wider audience. This shift is influenced by external factors such as globalization and socio-political changes, although it still maintains local cultural values. This article also discusses the challenges that arise, including the risk of accidents in modern performances, and suggests the use of hermeneutic and ethnographic approaches to understand the symbolic meaning contained in this tradition
The Shift in Charisma of Islamic Boarding School Kyai in Tasikmalaya City After Reform Indonesia
This research aims to comprehend the transformation in the charisma of the Kyai Pesantren in Tasikmalaya following the reformation. The study used qualitative research methodologies to collect data through in-depth interviews and participant observation. Informants in this study were students from Tasikmalaya’s Islamic Boarding School Kyai during the post-reform period. The findings revealed that the charisma of the Kyai Pesantren in Tasikmalaya shifted post-reform, particularly in terms of impact and attractiveness in society. This shift was triggered by post-reform Indonesia’s sociopolitical and cultural shift, as well as the internal dynamics of pesantren. Some of the factors that influence this include the involvement of kiai in politics, the emergence of a new Islamic identity, moral decadence, slow regeneration and the absence of elder kiai. Islamic Boarding School Kyai, who can adjust to these changes, keeps their charisma, while those who cannot adapt lose societal influence and attractiveness. This study provides an overview of the transformation of the Islamic Boarding School Kyai in Tasikmalaya following the reformation. It can be used as a reference for future research on Islamic boarding schools and socio-cultural forces in Indonesia

Fish, Faith, and Culture Intersections: A Case Reflection of Indonesian Chinese Christians Community
This study explores the intricate relationships between the Christian faith and Indonesian Chinese cultural traditions, focusing on the fish motif as a significant symbol. The research employs historical and literary analyses through an intercultural theology lens to investigate how the fish symbol serves theological and socio-cultural functions within Christianity, tracing its transformation from ancient times to its current role in Indonesian contexts. A comparative analysis highlights the similarities between the fish's theological significance in Christianity and its integration into Indonesian Chinese cultural practices, especially during Chinese New Year's Eve celebrations. This festive occasion exemplifies the conceptual ties to biblical narratives involving fish, emphasizing sustenance, salvation, and community themes. Furthermore, the research illustrates the adaptive nature of religious symbols in multicultural settings, demonstrating how these symbols evolve while retaining their core meanings. Through this examination, the study aims to enhance understanding of the multifaceted interpretations of the fish symbol across diverse cultural landscapes, thereby contributing valuable insights into the intersections of faith, culture, and ritual practices within biblical and Indonesian Chinese backgrounds
A Morphological Review of Nouns and Verbs in Khmer and Indonesian
This study examines the morphology of nouns and verbs in Cambodian (Khmer) and Indonesian, two languages that come from different cultural backgrounds. Although there are significant differences in the history and development of these two languages, the analysis shows similarities in some structural aspects that are interesting to study. This study aims to understand how morphology affects word formation as well as its use in sentences, focusing on the way both languages handle word formation and meaning changes. The research method used involves qualitative analysis of data taken from linguistic sources, including dictionaries and related academic works. The results showed that the Khmer language, which has a relatively simple morphological structure, tends to use the basic form of the word without much afjection. On the other hand, Indonesian shows a wealth of variation in word formation through the use of affixes, both prefixes, suffixes, and infixes. This process not only enriches vocabulary but also gives different nuances of meaning to the words produced. These findings highlight the importance of understanding morphological differences and similarities in both languages, which can provide deeper insights into linguistic and cultural interactions. This research is expected to contribute to the development of linguistics, especially in the field of morphology, as well as improve understanding of how languages adapt and evolve in different social contexts
