Analisis Semantik Nasihat Pendidikan Moral dalam Kitab Mi’raj as-Sibyan Karya TGKH. M. Zainuddin Abdul Majid
The Spermonde Islands are a group of small islands off the west coast of South Sulawesi that have characteristics of rich coastal and marine ecosystems, but are vulnerable to climate change pressures and limited food resources. This study aims to identify local plant species that have the potential as alternative food sources to support community food security on these small islands. The method used was an exploratory survey with a participatory approach, involving local communities on five selected islands. The inventory results showed thatthere were 31 types of potential food plants, including tubers, local fruits, vegetables, and wild plants that could be used as sources of carbohydrates, vegetable protein, and micronutrients. Several species such as Artocarpus altilis (breadfruit), Moringa oleifera (moringa), and Pandanus tectorius (sea pandan) have high nutritional value and good ecological adaptation. This study recommends the utilization and preservation of local plants as a strategy to strengthen small island-based food security.

Analysis of Pollutant Distribution Due to Forest Fires in Ketapang Regency in 2015 Using The WRF-Chem Model
A forest fire occurred on September 9, 2015, resulting in 616 hotspots distributed across several regencies in West Kalimantan, 442 of which were in Ketapang Regency. This study aims to analyze the spatial and temporal distribution of pollutants caused by forest fires in Ketapang Regency in 2015 using the Weather Research and Forecasting with Chemistry (WRF-Chem) model. The data used to run the model includes the Final Global Data Assimilation System (FNL) dataset, the Emission Database for Global Atmospheric Research (EDGAR), and The Fire Inventory from NCAR (FINN), which serve as input and emission source data. The highest concentrations of pollutants, which are PM2.5 and PM10 at 30 µg/m³ each and CO at 342.9 µg/m³, were observed in the southern part of Kalimantan, which is the main source of the forest fires. These pollutants subsequently dispersed toward the northern part of Kalimantan. During the fire events, pollutants were transported to the upper atmosphere from morning to noon but accumulated near the surface at night. This pattern was influenced by meteorological conditions, including wind speed and direction, surface pressure, and air temperature. During forest fires, pollutants are emitted into the atmosphere from morning to afternoon, and accumulate near the surface during the night. This pattern was influenced by meteorological factors, including wind speed and direction, surface pressure, and air temperature
The Palatability Level of the Application of Animal Welfare Aspects in Laboratory Animal Management at the Animal Lab of Hasanuddin University Veterinary Teaching Hospital
According to Law Number 18 of 2009, animal welfare encompasses all aspects related to the physical and mental condition of animals based on their natural behaviors. Animal welfare includes how the management of laboratory animal housing is evaluated in terms of cage conditions, environment, and nutritional fulfillment. The objective of this study is to examine the correlation between the application of animal welfare aspects, including housing management, environment, and nutrition, on the palatability levels of laboratory animals. The research method involved dividing the treatment groups into eight groups, with each group consisting of three rats, for a total of 24 rats. The rat groups were categorized based on housing management, which was assessed based on cage size and body weight, sterilized versus non-sterilized bedding, optimum versus non-optimum temperature and humidity, and the frequency of feeding once a day or twice a day. The results showed that groups one and two exhibited higher average palatability levels compared to the other groups (17.5 and 16.5 grams, respectively), while groups four and five exhibited the lowest palatability levels (10.5 and 11.5 grams). Normality tests indicated that the data were normally distributed (P>0.05), and homogeneity tests showed that the data from the different groups were consistent (homogeneous) (P>0.05). Based on the normality and homogeneity tests, statistical analysis (ANOVA) was conducted. The ANOVA results indicated a significant effect (

A Cognitive Linguistic Study of Conceptual Metaphors in the Farewell Sermon of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
This paper investigates the use of conceptual metaphors in the Farewell Sermon of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) using the framework of Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT). Drawing from discourse analysis and cognitive linguistics, the study categorizes metaphors into structural, ontological, and orientation types, revealing how abstract theological and moral concepts are conveyed through culturally grounded metaphors. The findings highlight the cognitive strategies embedded in prophetic discourse and their enduring rhetorical power. The study contributes to both metaphor research and Islamic linguistic heritage by offering a deeper understanding of how abstract Islamic teachings are made accessible and memorable through metaphor. This research bridges cognitive linguistics and Islamic studies by analyzing how abstract moral and theological concepts are conveyed metaphorically. It contributes to understanding how religious discourse uses metaphor to make abstract principles tangible and relatable, reinforcing moral and spiritual instruction. Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT), introduced by (Lakoff & Johnson, 1980), proposes that metaphor is not just a figure of speech but a fundamental mechanism of human cognition. Metaphors map concepts from a familiar source domain to a more abstract target domain, shaping thought, language, and behavior
