    The Guardian of East Borneo: Indigenous Women in Gender Equality, Local Culture, and Language Preservation in the Surrounded Area of Indonesia\u27s New Capital City

    This research aims to reveal the position of indigenous women in Indonesia’s capital city in terms of gender equality, culture, and local language preservation. The research is done through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using a phenomenological approach. There are 19 participants selected from two indigenous ethnicities: Dayak, and Paser. The participants reveal that gender equality has long been applied in their community, which can be seen from the equality of education, jobs, domestic affairs, rituals, and representation in government or organization. Furthermore, the findings demonstrate the crucial role of women in preserving culture and language, as they serve as initiators, instructors, mediators, and executors. Looking at women’s vital role, their existence and influences should be supported and made prominent

    Reduction of Organic Waste Using Black Soldier Fly Hermetia illucens Larvae (BSF) Technology

    The waste problem is a significant issue faced by developing countries like Indonesia. It is caused by the increasing population and economic growth, leading to a rise in waste generation. The objective of this studi was to examine the efficiency of feed types on the development of BSF larvae in decomposing organic waste and to study the final reduction in organic waste levels after being decomposed by BSF larvae. Three types of processing media reactors were used for a duration of 14 days, with each reactor being treated differently. The M1 reactor the composition of the type of waste given to BSF larvae in the M1 reactor is organic waste, especially rice waste and vegetable waste with a total amount of 5 kg, then 5 kg of tofu waste is added as a change and comparison to the composition of the feed in the M1 reactor. The M2 reactor is organic waste, especially rice and vegetable waste, with a total amount of 10 kg. The M3 reactor is tofu dregs waste with a total amount of 10 kg. This research showed that the conversion efficiency value of feed digested by BSF larvae, in M1 which gets an ECD value of 10.47%, then reactor M2 gets an ECD value of 5.65%, while in the M3 reactor the highest ECD value was obtained with a value of 11.67%. The final water content of organic waste is a range of 53.43-58.49%. The final pH value in the range of 5.90-7.10. The C/N ratio final in a range of 11.92-15.74

    Connectivity Indices of Coprime Graphs over Generalized Quaternion Groups of a Certain Order

    The generalized quaternion group is a non-abelian group of order  that exhibits certain structural similarities with the dihedral group. It is generated by two elements that satisfy specific defining relations. Meanwhile, a coprime graph is constructed by representing the elements of a group as vertices, where two vertices are adjacent if the orders of the corresponding elements are coprime. In this study, we investigate coprime graphs derived from generalized quaternion groups, particularly when the group order is given by , with  being a prime number. Based on the structural properties of these graphs, we compute several connectivity indices, including the First and Second Zagreb indices, the Wiener index, the hyper-Wiener index, the Harary index, and the Szeged index

    Fuzzy Time Series Saxena Easo on Forecasting the Number of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Cases in Bengkulu Province

    Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a viral infectious disease that is transmitted through mosquitoes and is a public health problem in the world. Untreated Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) can trigger extraordinary events (KLB), severe dengue and even cause death. Tropical countries like Indonesia cause cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) to be found in almost all provinces. This disease is endemic, especially in Bengkulu Province. The increase and decrease in the number of cases can also be seen using forecasting methods. The time series forecasting method used in this research is the Saxena-Easo fuzzy time series. Where this method is a modification and refinement of the previous method, namely the Stevenson & Porter fuzzy time series method. The Stevenson & Porter method changes the actual data into percentage change which was then developed by Saxena Easo with modifications to the number of data intervals. The data developed by Saxena Easo is dividing the number of intervals into sub-intervals based on the number of frequencies. This research aims to predict the number of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever cases in Bengkulu Province from the 1st week of 2022 to the 24th week of 2024, and compare it with existing data on the number of cases. Based on the research, the results of the accuracy level of the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) in forecasting the number of cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Bengkulu Province using the FTS Saxena Easo method obtained a value of 0.359637893 or 3.5%, so the forecast accuracy value obtained is included in the criteria for very good forecasting, because it has an accuracy value below 10%. It can be said that the comparison between actual data and forecasts is not much different

    A Comparison of the Holt-Winters Additive and Multiplicative Methods with Grid search Optimization in Forecasting Red Chili Prices in Bengkulu City

    The Holt-Winters Additive and Multiplicative methods are time series forecasting techniques that consider trend and seasonal patterns. To improve forecasting accuracy, optimization of model parameters, such as alpha, beta, and gamma, is required. This study compares four parameter optimization methods, namely Grid search, Bayesian optimization, Trial and error, and Nelder-mead, through simulation on the generation data and application on weekly red chili price data in Bengkulu City. Red chili was chosen as the object of study because it is a strategic horticultural commodity that has high demand and significant price fluctuations, thus affecting inflation and deflation in Bengkulu City. Simulation results show that the Grid search method consistently produces lower error values and more efficient computation time at iterations 15, 25, 50, and 100. Based on the optimal parameters of Grid search (alpha = 1, beta = 0.1, gamma = 0.1), a Holt-Winters model is obtained that can be used to forecast the price of red chili in Bengkulu City in the first 3 months of 2025. Based on the evaluation of the prediction results, the Additive model provides better performance than the Multiplicative model, with a MAPE value of 11,92% and an RMSE of 7450,52. These findings indicate that the combination of the Holt-Winters Additive method and Grid search optimization is effective in forecasting weekly red chili pepper prices, and can be used as a basis for policy making to control the price of strategic commodities in Bengkulu Cit

    PENDAMPINGAN SISTEM KONSERVASI USAHA TANI JAGUNG BERBASIS KARBON PADA KELOMPOK TANI MAMMINASA DECENG

    Target produktivitas jagung di lahan kering miring akan sulit dicapai tanpa teknologi konservasi tanah, khususnya penanggulangan erosi dan peningkatan bahan organik tanah.  Biochar merupakan teknologi tepat guna yang dapat meningkatkan daya ikat tanah sehingga tidak muda terdispersi. Kandungan karbonnya yang tinggi menjadi sumber C-organik jika digunakan sebagai bahan pemenah tanah. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan wawasan petani melaksanakan usahatani jagung berbasis konservasi menggunakan biochar sebagai sumber karbon tanah. Metode pelaksanaan adalah demplot di lahan jagung dimana petani melakukan partisipasi aktif dalam setiap kegiatan, yang terdiri dari  pembuatan rorak searah dengan lereng, pembuatan lubangan biopori, aplikasi biochar sebagai bahan pembenah tanah, budidaya jagung sistem legowo 2:1. Luaran kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan petani (76 orang anggota kelompok tani Mamminasa Deceng) tentang konsep usahatani jagung sistem legowo berbasis konservasi dan peran biochar sebagai sumber karbon dalam meningkatkan kulitas tanah serta meningkatnya kesuburan tanah berdasarkan kandungan C-organik tanah (4%).   Kata kunci: Degradasi lahan, jagung, karbon, kekeringan, produktivitas. ABSTRACT The target of corn productivity on sloping dry land will be difficult to achieve without soil conservation technology, especially erosion control and increasing soil organic matter. Biochar is an appropriate technology that can increase soil binding capacity so that it is not easily dispersed. Its high carbon content becomes a source of organic C if used as a soil enhancer. The purpose of this activity is to increase farmers\u27 insight into implementing conservation-based corn farming using biochar as a source of soil carbon. The implementation method is a demonstration plot in corn fields where farmers actively participate in each activity, consisting of making rorak in the direction of the slope, making biopore holes, applying biochar as a soil conditioner and corn cultivation using the 2:1 legowo system corn cultivation using the 2:1 legowo system. The output of this activity is increased knowledge of farmers (76 members of the Mamminasa Deceng farmer group) about the concept of conservation-based corn farming and the role of biochar as a carbon source in improving soil quality and increasing soil fertility based on soil organic C content (4%).     PEMBERDAYAAN KELOMPOK TANI JAGUNG LAHAN GAMBUT DI DESA ARANG LIMBUNG KECAMATAN SUNGAI RAYA KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA

    Desa Arang Limbung terletak di Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya dan berjarak sekitar 15 km dari Pontianak. Budidaya jagung yang diusahakan petani pada tanah gambut menunjukkan produksi yang rendah yakni < 3 ton/ha.  Hal ini disebabkan karena rendahnya kesuburan tanah gambut, rendahnya kemampuan petani dalam memberikan pupuk secara optimal karena mahalnya harga pupuk. Selain itu kurangnya pengetahuan petani dalam pemanfaatan limbah lokal seperti kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan biochar.Tujuan kegiatan PKM adalah memberikan pelatihan pembuatan kompos dan biochar, aplikasi kompos dan biochar pada tanaman jagung. Metode yang digunakan adalah: penyuluhan, pembimbingan dan pendampingan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Rencana target luaran adalah: meningkatnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan petani dalam pembuatan Kompos TKKS dan biochar sebanyak 80%, meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam aplikasi pupuk organik dan anorganik pada tanaman jagung 80%. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan PKM maka pengetahuan petani dalam pengolahan limbah tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan jerami untuk dijadikan sebagai pupuk organik sebelumnya 20,5% yang telah paham cara pembuatan pupuk organik dan setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan meningkat menjadi 70%. Demikian juga halnya dengan menentukan dosis pupuk, sebelum penyuluhan pengetahuan tentang menghitung dosis pupuk 0%, setelah penyuluhan meningkat menjadi 70%. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kapasitas  pengetahuan  dan ketrampilan petani pada kelompok mitra setelah dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kata kunci: Gambut, Kompos, Biochar, Jagung. ABSTRACT Arang Limbung Village is located in Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency and is about 15 km from Pontianak. Corn cultivation carried out by farmers on peat soil shows low production, namely <3 tons/ha. This is due to the low fertility of peat soil, the low ability of farmers to provide optimal fertilizer due to the high price of fertilizer. Apart from that, farmers lack knowledge in utilizing local waste such as empty oil palm fruit bunch compost and biochar. The aim of PKM activities is to provide training in making compost and biochar, applying compost and biochar to corn plants. The methods used are: counseling, guidance and assistance and evaluation of activities. The planned output targets are: increasing farmers\u27 knowledge and skills in making TKKS Compost and biochar by 80%, increasing farmers\u27 knowledge and skills in applying organic and inorganic fertilizers to corn plants by 80%. After PKM activities were carried out, the knowledge of farmers in processing empty oil palm fruit bunches and straw to be used as organic fertilizer was previously 20.5% who understood how to make organic fertilizer and after counseling and training this increased to 70%. Likewise with determining fertilizer doses, before the counseling, knowledge about calculating fertilizer doses was 0%, after counseling increased to 70%. This shows an increase in the knowledge and skills capacity of farmers in the partner group after training and mentoring. Keywords: Peat, Compost, Biochar, Corn

    Ism dalam Konstruksi Frasa dan Kalimat Bahasa Arab: Pendekatan Linguistik Modern

    Penelitian Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peran Ism (kata benda) dalam struktur sintaksis bahasa Arab, khususnya dalam pembentukan frasa nominal dan kalimat. Tujuan utama studi ini adalah untuk menganalisis fungsi sintaktis Ism dalam berbagai konstruksi frasa dan kalimat bahasa Arab berdasarkan perspektif sintaksis pendekatan linguistik modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan menganalisis data berupa frasa dan kalimat dari teks Arab otentik yang diambil dari berbagai sumber referensial. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan teori sintaksis linguistik modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ism memiliki peran sintaktis yang kompleks dan fleksibel, baik sebagai inti maupun unsur periferal dalam frasa nominal dan kalimat nominal. Ditemukan pula adanya pola-pola sintaktis khas dalam penggunaan Ism pada frasa nominal serta dalam struktur kalimat nominal (equational sentence). Studi ini menawarkan pendekatan baru dalam mengkaji peran Ism secara lebih sistematis dengan menekankan interaksi antara struktur frasa dan fungsi sintaktisnya. Implikasi temuan ini relevan dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran tata bahasa Arab dan penerjemahan berbasis analisis struktural

    Kebencian Tokoh Nāṣir Dalam Novelet “Dāru Khaulah” Karya Buṡainah Al-‘Issa: Analisis Psikologi Sastra

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bentuk dan penyebab kebencian tokoh Nāṣir dengan menggunakan teori kebencian Robert J. Sternberg dalam novelet Dāru Khaulah karya Buṡainah al-‘Issa. Adapun metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan metode analisis psikologi sastra untuk mengetahui unsur psikologis dominan yang terdapat dalam karya sastra. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu pengumpulan data, analisis data, dan penyajian hasil analisis. Tahap pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak catat dengan menandai dan mencatat kata, kalimat, atau dialog yang merepresentasikan emosi kebencian tokoh Nāṣir. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dan diklasifikasikan berdasarkan komponen dan bentuk kebencian menurut konsep kebencian Sternberg, serta disajikan dalam bentuk narasi deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebencian tokoh Nāṣir dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor utama, yaitu perbedaan nilai kehidupan yang dianut dan perasaan terabaikan sejak masa kecil. Komponen kebencian yang dominan dalam diri Nāṣir adalah ketidakintiman dan komitmen yang memunculkan bentuk kebencian berupa cool hate, cold hate, dan simmering hate
