Indonesian Natural Materials for Sustainable Ocean Structures: Synergizing Nibung Wood Characterization, Fiber Composites, and Processing Innovations
This research explores the potential of Indonesian natural materials - specifically Nibung wood (Oncosperma tigillarium) and vegetable fibers (jute, ironwood) - for sustainable ocean structures. The literature review focused on: (1) mechanical and physical characterization of Nibung wood; (2) optimization of Nibung-fiber thermoplastic composites using the Taguchi-GRA method; (3) evaluation of jute fiber resistance to seawater uptake; and (4) innovation of traditional Bajau modular connection techniques. The narrative-thematic method categorizes the findings based on material characteristics, surface modification, structural performance, and marine tidal applications. Results showed Nibung wood has strength class II-III (density 0.53 g/cm³; MOE 5,848 MPa; MOR 4,325 MPa), optimized Nibung-rPP WPC (<2% water absorption, tensile strength >30 MPa), and jute fibers experienced ≤10% impact reduction after 84 days of sea immersion. Bajau- style modular joint detailing improved airflow and minimized moisture accumulation. Recommendations include integration of Nibung wood in local thermoplastic WPC, alkali-coupling treatment, and adaptation of modular joints for modern oceanstructures. Experimental Study on The Effect of Epoxy Zinc and Thinner Ratio on Platform Structure Coating Quality
Paint serves as a coating material that provides aesthetic value, adhesive strength, and protection to surfaces from environmental corrosion. The one of critical aspect is the paint and thinner ratio, which can influence adhesive strength and the performance of protection. This experimental study investigates the effect of varying ratios of epoxy zinc paint (Avantguard 750) and thinner (08450) on adhesion strength and drying rate. Paint was mixed with thinner at 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% of the paint\u27s volume. Steel plates were used as test specimens, coated via spray method. Adhesion quality was assessed using the “X–Cut Test” and “Cross Cut Tape Test” based on ASTM D3359 Methods A and B and the adhesion tests showed excellent results with a rating 5, indicating no peeling. Drying quality was evaluated using the “Solvent Rub” method according to ASTM D4752-20. Dry tests also have positive results with a rating 5 within 6 to 24 hours. Representasi Kepemimpinan Tokoh Utama dalam Anime ‘Dr. Stone’: Analisis Semiotika Peirce
This study explores the semiotic representation of leadership embodied by the main character in the first season of the anime “Dr. Stone” directed by Shinya Iino. Utilizing Peirce’s semiotic theory, the research analyzes key scenes to uncover how visual and verbal signs construct the image of leadership within the context of Japanese popular culture. Data were collected through purposive sampling of selected episodes, focusing on narrative and character interactions that depict leadership values. The findings reveal that Senku Ishigami’s leadership is represented through specific icons, indexes, and symbols—such as scientific tools, gestures, and verbal affirmations—which collectively construct a unique leadership model that blends rationality, collectivism, and resilience. The study highlights how anime functions not only as entertainment but also as a medium for transmitting contemporary leadership values. The implications of this research suggest a need for broader cultural studies on leadership narratives in Japanese media, providing new insights for educators and scholars in language and cultural studies.
The Utilization of Digital Media in the English Learning Process: A Study in the Business Administration Department
The use of digital media in English language learning represents a strategic approach to preparing students for the demands of the professional world, where technology and digital communication are highly prioritized. The integration of digital media enables students to access authentic English learning materials, thereby enhancing their linguistic competence in ways that align with workplace requirements. The urgency of this study lies in the necessity to understand the effectiveness and patterns of digital media utilization in supporting the achievement of English language competencies relevant to the needs of business and industry. The research explored the way digital media applied in English language learning at the Department of Business Administration. It focuses on the types of digital media used, the challenges faced, and the impact on students\u27 English skills. The study employs a qualitative method, incorporating classroom observations and semi-structured interviews with students and lecturers. Purposive sampling was applied. The population includes all students and lecturers in the department. The sample consists of second-semester students from Business Administration (II AB1 and II AB2), Business Management (II MB1–MB5) and seven English lecturers. These research results are expected to give insights for evaluation and decision-making. They will help the Department of Business Administration work towards its goal of developing internationally competitive management professionals
The Effect of Adding Milkfish Flour on The Preference Level of Cireng
The enhancement of the nutritional content in Cireng can be achieved by adding milkfish meat flour. This study aims to determine the appropriate amount of milkfish flour to add in the preparation of Cireng to produce the product most preferred by the panelists. The method used was experimental, with four treatments: 0%, 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% addition of milkfish flour. The parameters observed included preference analysis using a hedonic test to assess appearance, aroma, texture, and taste, as well as proximate analysis and Texture Profile Analyzer (TPA) to evaluate chemical composition and texture characteristics. The results showed that the 5% milkfish flour treatment produced the most preferred Cireng, with the highest average hedonic scores across all sensory attributes: 7.13 for appearance, 7.07 for aroma, 7.80 for texture, and 7.07 for taste. Proximate analysis results showed protein content (3.11%), ash content (0.73%), fat content (0.83%), moisture content (45.36%), and carbohydrate content (48.79%). The TPA results indicated an increase in hardness (1,104.188 gForce) and recovery (0.996%), but a decrease in cohesiveness (0.430%), chewiness (455.576 gForce), gumminess (478.129 gForce), and resilience (0.631%)
Pertumbuhan dan Dinamika Populasi Daphnia sp. pada Berbagai Sumber Nutrien Fermentasi
Chicken manure is an organic material rich in nutrients and can be fermented using specific microbes to break down complex compounds into simpler forms. This fermentation process enhances the availability of nutrients that are more easily absorbed by aquatic organisms such as Daphnia sp., supporting their growth. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different nutrient treatments on the growth and population dynamics of Daphnia sp. Three treatments were tested: unfermented chicken manure (A), chicken manure fermented with EM4 (B), and chicken manure fermented with yeast (C), each with four replications. A total of 100 g of chicken manure was fermented for three days before being used as a culture medium for Daphnia sp. The cultivation of Daphnia sp. lasted for 12 days in 2 liters of clean water per container, with an initial density of 50 individuals/L. Parameters observed included daily population growth and the timing of peak population. The results showed that treatment B (chicken manure fermented with EM4) produced a significantly higher population growth rate (P < 0.05). Meanwhile, the peak population of Daphnia sp. was observed simultaneously on day 9 across all treatments, based on descriptive observations. The population began increasing from the first day after stocking, peaked on day 9, and then declined until day 12 (end of the study). Water quality parameters during the study remained within a suitable range for Daphnia sp. growth. Therefore, fermentation of chicken manure using EM4 has the potential to improve the efficiency of Daphnia sp. population growth.Kotoran ayam adalah bahan organik yang kaya akan nutrisi dan dapat difermentasi menggunakan mikroba tertentu untuk memecah senyawa kompleks menjadi senyawa yang lebih sederhana. Proses fermentasi ini meningkatkan ketersediaan nutrisi yang mudah diserap oleh organisme akuatik seperti Daphnia sp., yang dapat memanfaatkannya untuk pertumbuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh berbagai perlakuan nutrien terhadap pertumbuhan dan dinamika populasi Daphnia sp. Tiga perlakuan diuji, yaitu kotoran ayam tanpa fermentasi (A), kotoran ayam difermentasi dengan EM4 (B), dan kotoran ayam difermentasi dengan ragi tape (C), masing-masing dengan empat ulangan. Sebanyak 100 g kotoran ayam difermentasi selama 3 hari sebelum digunakan sebagai media pemeliharaan Daphnia sp. Pemeliharaan dilakukan selama 12 hari pada media air bersih sebanyak 2 liter per toples dengan kepadatan awal 50 individu/L. Parameter yang diamati adalah pertumbuhan populasi harian dan waktu pencapaian puncak populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan B (EM4) memberikan laju pertumbuhan populasi yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan (P < 0,05), meskipun waktu pencapaian puncak populasi tidak berbeda nyata antar perlakuan (P > 0,05). Parameter kualitas air selama penelitian berada dalam kisaran layak bagi pertumbuhan Daphnia sp. Dengan demikian, fermentasi kotoran ayam menggunakan EM4 berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi pertumbuhan populasi Daphnia sp.

ANALISIS KINERJA RANTAI PASOK PEMBUDIDAYA IKAN LELE DI KEDIRI STUDI KASUS PADA PEMBENIHAN DAN PEMBESARAN
This study aims to analyze the supply chain system in catfish farming in Kediri, focusing on three main aspects: the flow of goods, financial flow, and information flow. It also aims to identify the actors involved in the supply chain and determine the appropriate supply chain model. This research was conducted from March to July 2025 among four catfish farmers in Kediri city and regency. The method used is a case study approach with interviews with four business actors consisting of catfish breeders and growers. The data analysis used exploratory descriptive analysis, explaining the actors involved in the supply chain, the flow of goods, the flow of money, and the flow of information in the form of graphs, tables, and figures. The results show that the flow of goods is dominated by an informal distribution network through middlemen, with distribution patterns varying between business actors depending on the type of business. With minimal intervention from the credit system and a high degree of trust between actors, financial flow occurs easily through cash and transfer channels. Without written contracts, information is communicated directly between people, making it less formal yet more flexible. The resulting supply chain model is a trust-based supply chain in which players cooperation is primarily driven by their social relationships. In order to increase the effectiveness, sustainability, and transparency of the supply chain for catfish farming in Kediri, this study suggests that institutional assistance and technology integration are necessary.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem rantai pasok pada usaha budidaya ikan lele di Kediri dengan fokus pada tiga aspek utama, yaitu aliran barang, aliran finansial, dan aliran informasi. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pelaku yang terlibat dalam rantai pasok serta mengetahui model rantai pasok yang sesuai. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik wawancara pada empat pelaku usaha yang terdiri dari pembenih dan pembesar lele. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aliran barang didominasi oleh jaringan distribusi informal melalui tengkulak, dengan pola distribusi yang bervariasi antar pelaku usaha bergantung pada jenis usaha. Aliran finansial berjalan lancar melalui sistem tunai dan transfer, dengan tingkat kepercayaan yang tinggi antar pelaku dan minim keterlibatan sistem utang piutang. Aliran informasi berlangsung secara langsung melalui komunikasi pribadi tanpa kontrak tertulis, yang menjadikan fleksibel namun kurang formal. Model rantai pasok yang terbentuk merupakan rantai pasok berbasis kepercayaan trust based supply chain, di mana hubungan sosial menjadi penggerak utama koordinasi antar pelaku. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya dukungan kelembagaan dan integrasi teknologi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan keberlanjutan rantai pasok budidaya ikan lele di Kediri
Kajian literatur identifikasi dan pemahaman tentang kontaminasi mikroplastik di biosfer
Microplastics are plastic particles with a size less than 5 mm which pose a growing concern in terms of ecotoxicology in aquatic environments and human health. Despite the widespread presence of microplastic pollution in land, water, and air, these environments are often viewed in isolation, although they are intricately interconnected. This study endeavors to examine the existing scientific literature pertaining to microplastic research across various environmental compartments and identify research gaps to shape future priorities. Scientific papers addressing microplastic pollution, published between 2014 and 2023, have been identified in the Web of Science database. Original research articles categorized under Environmental Sciences, Marine/Freshwater Biology, Toxicology, Multidisciplinary Sciences, Environmental Studies, Oceanography, Limnology, and Ecology in the Web of Science are chosen for a detailed investigation into microplastic research in seas, estuaries, rivers, lakes, soil, and the atmosphere. The selected papers for seas, estuaries, rivers, and lakes are further categorized based on (i) occurrence and characterization, (ii) uptake by and effects on organisms, and (iii) issues related to fate and transport. The findings indicate that, despite significant scientific research on marine microplastics, our understanding of the extent of microplastic pollution in continental environments, including rivers, lakes, soil, and air, as well as the associated environmental interactions, remains limited.Mikroplastik merupakan partikel plastik dengan ukuran kurang dari 5 mm yang kini menjadi zat kontaminan yang semakin diperhatikan dalam konteks ekotoksikologi lingkungan akuatik dan juga bagi kesehatan manusia. Walaupun polusi mikroplastik tersebar di biosfer daratan, air, dan udara, lingkungan ini sering kali dilihat sebagai entitas terpisah; meskipun, pada kenyataannya, keduanya saling terkait. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau literatur ilmiah yang terkait dengan penelitian mikroplastik di biosfer dan mengidentifikasi kesenjangan dalam penelitian yang dapat membantu menilai prioritas penelitian di masa depan. Artikel ilmiah yang membahas polusi mikroplastik, diterbitkan antara tahun 2014 dan 2024, diidentifikasi dalam basis data Web of Science. Artikel penelitian asli yang tercakup dalam kategori Environmental Sciences, Marine/Freshwater Biology, Toxicology, Multidisciplinary Sciences, Environmental Studies, Oceanography, Limnology, dan Ecology di Web of Science dan lainnya dipilih untuk mengeksplorasi penelitian mikroplastik di laut, estuari, sungai, danau, tanah, dan atmosfer. Artikel yang terkait dengan laut, estuari, sungai, dan danau kemudian diklasifikasikan lebih lanjut berdasarkan (i) keberadaan dan karakterisasi, (ii) penyerapan dan dampak pada organisme, dan (iii) isu perilaku dan transportasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sementara penelitian mikroplastik di laut telah menerima perhatian ilmiah yang signifikan, pemahaman terhadap sejauh mana polusi mikroplastik di lingkungan kontinental, seperti sungai, danau, tanah, dan udara, beserta interaksi lingkungannya, masih kurang memadai
KAJIAN HUKUM PERATURAN KEPOLISIAN NOMOR 7 TAHUN 2022 TENTANG KODE ETIK PROFESI KEPOLISIAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA
Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2002 tentang Kepolisian hanya mengatur kode etik kepolisian secara umum tanpa menjelaskan parameter khusus terkait kelembagaan dan hubungan dengan masyarakat. Sementara itu, Peraturan Kapolri memberikan batasan mengenai kode etik anggota Polri, namun pengaturan tersebut seharusnya dimuat dalam undang-undang agar memiliki kekuatan hukum yang lebih kuat dan jelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dengan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Peraturan Kepolisian Nomor 7 Tahun 2022 tentang Kode Etik Profesi Polri belum memiliki dasar hukum yang rinci dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2002. Undang-undang tersebut hanya memuat ketentuan umum tanpa batasan eksplisit terkait etika, kelembagaan, dan hubungan dengan masyarakat, termasuk pembatasan terhadap perintah atasan yang bertentangan dengan kepentingan publik. Oleh karena itu, pengaturan kode etik anggota Polri perlu diintegrasikan ke dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2002 agar norma dan batasannya lebih jelas serta menghindari kekaburan hukum
Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Video Animasi Audio Visual Agriculture Aeroponic Terhadap Peningkatan Minat Dan Hasil Belajar Gen – Z
This study investigates the declining interest of the younger generation in agricultural careers, despite agriculture’s vital role in national economic growth and food security. Generation Z, living in the digital era, tends to prefer technology-oriented fields rather than conventional agriculture. Therefore, this research examines the influence of audio-visual animated video media as an innovation in agricultural learning to increase students’ interest and learning outcomes. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Beringin, Deli Serdang Regency, which has strong potential to develop technology-based education but has not yet implemented direct agricultural learning. Using a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group model, the research involved 60 twelfth-grade students divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, and questionnaires, and analyzed using SPSS through validity, reliability, normality, and homogeneity tests, followed by simple linear regression, t-tests, and F-tests. The results show that the use of aeroponic agriculture audio-visual animated video media has a significant influence on increasing students’ interest and learning outcomes compared to conventional methods. The integration of visual and animated elements enhances engagement, clarifies complex agricultural concepts, and provides more interactive and contextual learning experiences. Overall, this study concludes that the use of audio-visual animated video media not only improves learning performance but also strengthens the image of agriculture as a modern, innovative, and technology-based field, supporting the regeneration of future farmers in the digital era.

Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh media video animasi audio-visual sebagai inovasi dalam pembelajaran pertanian untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Beringin, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, yang memiliki potensi besar untuk mengembangkan pendidikan berbasis teknologi namun belum menerapkan pembelajaran pertanian secara langsung. Menggunakan Desain Quasi-Eksperimental dengan Model Kelompok Kontrol Non-Ekuivalen, penelitian ini melibatkan 60 siswa kelas XII yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest, posttest, dan kuesioner, dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, dan homogenitas, diikuti dengan regresi linier sederhana, uji t, dan uji F. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video animasi audio-visual pertanian aeroponik memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Integrasi elemen visual dan animasi meningkatkan keterlibatan, memperjelas konsep-konsep pertanian yang kompleks, dan menyediakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual. Secara keseluruhan, studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media video animasi audio-visual tidak hanya meningkatkan kinerja belajar tetapi juga memperkuat citra pertanian sebagai bidang yang modern, inovatif, dan berbasis teknologi, mendukung regenerasi petani masa depan di era digital.
