    PENINGKATAN KINERJA KEUANGAN MELALUI PEMANFAATAN STROBERI KASIR PADA UMKM KULINER DI PELABUHAN PERIKANAN KUALA TUNGKAL

    Culinary MSMEs are a type of MSME that continues to grow and develop. In the city of Kuala Tungkal, there are many MSMEs in this sector. At the fishing port, there are four MSMEs that process fishery products, including crackers and restaurants. Currently, financial management and transaction recording are done manually and in a simple manner. Therefore, this community service initiative aims to: (1) Introduce the Strawberry Cashier application to MSME partners. (2) Assist partners in using the cashier application for financial transactions and reporting. The methods used in this service activity include: (1) Outreach activities through lectures and demonstrations. During these sessions, the Strawberry Cashier application was introduced and explained. (2) Training activities on how to use the Strawberry Cashier application, conducted through practical exercises. In these sessions, participants practiced using the cashier application for financial transactions and reporting. The results of this community service activity are: (1) 100% of culinary MSMEs at the fishing port successfully installed the Strawberry Cashier application and became familiar with its features. (2) MSMEs were able to utilize the application for printing receipts, recording daily cash flow, inputting menus and items for sale, generating transaction reports, and creating financial statements.   ---   UMKM kuliner merupakan salah satu jenis UMKM yang terus mengalami perkembangan. Di Kota Kuala Tungkal sendiri UMKM jenis ini banyak ditemui, Di pelabuhan perikanan terdapat 4 UMKM yang mengolah hasil perikanan berupa kerupuk dan Rumah Makan.  Dalam pengeololaan keuangan dan pencatatan transaksi dilakukan dengan sederhana. Untuk itu pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Memperkenalkan aplikasi stroberi kasir kepada Mitra dan (2) Membantu mitra mempergunakan aplikasi kasir untuk transaksi dan pelaporan keuangan. Metode yang dipergunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu (1). Kegiatan penyuluhan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan demostrasi. Pada kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan sosialisasi aplikasi stroberi kasir, dan (2) kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi stroberi kasir dengan menggunakan metode praktek. Dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan Praktek penggunaan Aplikasi Kasir dalam pembuatan transaksi dan pelaporan keuangan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah (1) 75% UMKM kuliner di Pelabuhan Perikanan sudah dapat menginstal dan mengetahui fitur – fitur dalam aplikasi Stroberi Kasir. (2) Para UMKM sudah dapat mencetak menggunakan aplikasi stroberi kasir dengan bisa memasukan kas harian, menginput menu dan barang yang dijual, mencetak hasil transkasi, dan membuat laporan keuangan

    EDUKASI BIJAK ANTIBIOTIK MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA KARTU PENGINGAT OBAT PADA KADER KESEHATAN DI DESA KENALAN, KABUPATEN MAGELANG

    Antibiotics are widely recognized for their vital role in treating bacterial infections; however, antibiotic resistance has become an increasingly alarming global issue. This resistance is primarily caused by the irrational and improper use of antibiotics, which reduces treatment effectiveness and increases the risk of therapeutic failure. Based on a survey conducted in Kenalan Village, Borobudur Subdistrict, the results revealed that public knowledge in the area needs improvement regarding the proper use of antibiotics. In response to this issue, a community service program was implemented to provide education on the rational use of antibiotics and to demonstrate the use of antibiotic reminder cards. This program aims to enhance public health by ensuring the appropriate consumption of antibiotics, thereby improving therapy outcomes. The method employed included interactive lectures and simulations targeted at health cadres, specifically Posyandu cadres and elderly cadres in Kenalan Village. Participants underwent pre-test and post-test assessments to evaluate their knowledge of antibiotic use before and after receiving the material. The evaluation results showed that 86.11% of participants demonstrated improved knowledge following the education on the rational use of antibiotics. The program also underscores the importance of continuous education in reducing the risk of antibiotic resistance within the community, which can ultimately have a positive impact on public health.   ---   Antibiotik memiliki peran vital dalam pengobatan infeksi bakteri, namun resistensi antibiotik telah menjadi masalah global yang semakin mengkhawatirkan. Resistensi ini umumnya disebabkan oleh penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak bijak dan tidak rasional, yang pada gilirannya mengurangi efektivitas pengobatan dan meningkatkan risiko kegagalan terapi. Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan di Desa Kenalan, Kecamatan Borobudur, ditemukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai penggunaan antibiotik yang tepat masih sangat rendah. Menanggapi masalah ini, dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang penggunaan antibiotik yang bijak serta simulasi penggunaan kartu pengingat obat antibiotik. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat melalui peningkatan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang penggunaan antibiotik, sehingga terapi dapat menjadi lebih efektif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif dan simulasi, dengan sasaran peserta adalah kader kesehatan, termasuk kader posyandu dan kader lansia Desa Kenalan. Untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas edukasi, peserta diberikan pretest dan posttest sebelum dan sesudah pemberian materi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 86,11% peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan setelah mengikuti edukasi bijak antibiotik. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran kader kesehatan Desa Kenalan tentang penggunaan antibiotik yang bijak, rasional, dan tepat. Program ini juga menegaskan pentingnya edukasi berkelanjutan untuk mengurangi risiko resistensi antibiotik di masyarakat, yang dapat berdampak positif pada kesehatan masyarakat

    PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH PLASTIK UNTUK MENDUKUNG EKOWISATA BAHARI DAN PENINGKATAN EKONOMI NELAYAN DI KAWASAN WISATA PULAU LAE-LAE, KOTA MAKASSAR

    Lae-Lae Island is a small island situated in the coastal waters of Makassar City, possessing substantial potential as a marine tourism destination. However, one of the primary challenges confronting the island is environmental pollution, particularly waste generated by both tourist activities and local residents. This study aims to examine the community’s level of understanding and evaluate the effectiveness of educational outreach on environmentally sustainable marine tourism, with a focus on enhancing public awareness regarding pollution control within the island\u27s tourist zones. A pre-test and post-test design was employed to measure changes in community knowledge before and after the intervention. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test yielded a t-value of -1.959 with a significance level of p = 0.063. As the p-value exceeds the conventional threshold of 0.05, the results indicate no statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. These findings suggest that the fishing community of Lae-Lae Island already possesses a relatively high level of understanding concerning environmentally friendly marine tourism and pollution mitigation strategies. The outreach activities did not lead to a significant improvement in knowledge, likely due to the community\u27s existing awareness of the principles of sustainable tourism and the importance of marine ecosystem management. The key challenge, however, lies in the lack of implementation of this knowledge in daily practice. This gap is primarily attributed to economic constraints, entrenched behavioral patterns, inadequate infrastructure, and limited social regulation.   ---   Pulau Lae-Lae adalah sebuah pulau kecil yang terletak di perairan Kota Makassar dan memiliki potensi besar sebagai destinasi wisata bahari. Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah pencemaran akibat sampah dari aktivitas wisatawan dan penduduk setempat. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman masyarakat dan pengaruh penyuluhan tentang wisata bahari ramah lingkungan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat di Pulau Lae-Lae, khusunya dalam hal pengendalian pencemaran sampah di kawasana wisata. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur pemahaman masyarakat sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai t sebesar -1,959 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,063. Nilai p lebih besar dari 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat nelayan Pulau Lae-Lae sudah memiliki pemahaman yang baik mengenai konsep wisata bahari ramah lingkungan dan pengendalian pencemaran. Namun, penerapan pengetahuan ini dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masih memerlukan perhatian lebih lanjut untuk dapat memberikan dampak yang nyata dalam pengelolaan kawasan wisata secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilakukan tidak menghasilkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan, dikarenakan masyarakat sudah memiliki pemahaman yang cukup baik mengenai wisata bahari ramah lingkungan dan pentingnya pengelolaan kawasan bahari. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya implementasi pengetahuan tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, yang disebabkan oleh tekanan ekonomi, kebiasaan lama, serta kurangnya dukungan infrastruktur dan kontrol sosial

    Pendahuluan: Status gizi balita merupakan indikator penting untuk menilai kesehatan dan perkembangan anak. Selain asupan makanan dan lingkungan, aspek psikososial seperti emotional bonding antara anak dan ibu memiliki peran yang berpengaruh pada perilaku makan dan kecukupan nutrisi pada anak balita yang secara tidak langsung berdampak positif pada status gizi anak. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan emotional bonding dengan status gizi anak balita di Posyandu Desa Sumber Agung, Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Bahan dan Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional study. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 69 anak balita yang terdaftar di Posyandu Desa Sumber Agung dengan teknik total sampling. Variabel emotional bonding diukur dengan wawancara melalui kuesioner dan status gizi anak balita menggunakan indeks BB/TB yang diperoleh melalui pengukuran antropometri berat badan dan tinggi badan. Data diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS dengan uji Mann-Whitney dengan tingkat kemaknaan p=0.05. Hasil: Prevalensi wasting sebanyak 9(13%) anak balita dan gizi lebih sebanyak 5(7,2%). Adapun tingkat emotional bonding ibu dengan anak dominan kategori kuat yaitu 62,3% sementara kategori lemah sebanyak 37,7%. Terdapat hubungan antara tingkat emotional bonding dengan status gizi dengan nilai a<0.05. Kesimpulan: Emotional bonding berhubungan dengan status  gizi anak balita di Posyandu Desa Sumber Agung Kabupaten Luwu Timur

    Source Rock Evaluation in the "Idea" Field, Bintuni Basin, West Papua: A Geochemical Approach

    The Bintuni Basin is one of the largest hydrocarbon-bearing basins in Eastern Indonesia, although only a limited number of oil and gas fields are currently. Consequently, further investigation into its petroleum system, particularly the potential of its source rocks. In hydrocarbon exploration, characterizing source rock is critical to evaluating the presence of organic-rich strata capable of generating hydrocarbons. Geochemical analysis is a widely used method for assessing source rock potential, utilizing total organic carbon (TOC), rock-eval pyrolysis, and vitrinite reflectance data. In this study, geochemical data were obtained from one well and two outcrop samples to evaluate the quantity, quality, and thermal maturity of organic matter. The geochemical assessment of rock samples from four stratigraphic formations indicates that the Permian Ainim Formation exhibits the highest source rock potential. TOC values range from 1% to 80% with hydrogen index (HI) values range between 13 and 431 mg HC/g TOC classifying the formation as a good to excellent potential. The dominant organic matter consists of kerogen type II/III suggesting the potential for both oil and gas generation. Thermal maturity analysis indicates that the Ainim formation has reached the oil and gas generation window at depths of 8,075–8,420 feet. These findings demonstrate that the Ainim Formation represents a significant source rock within the Bintuni Basin, contributing valuable insights into the region\u27s petroleum system and hydrocarbon prospectivity

    Using Mind Mapping to Improve Students’ Reading Comprehension

    Reading comprehension plays a pivotal role in students’ academic achievement. However, many learners struggle due to traditional teaching methods and limited strategies. To address this challenge, this research investigates whether the use of mind mapping can improve reading comprehension among eighth-grade students at SMP PT Pasangkayu. This research used a quasi-experimental design. The population consists of eighth-grade students from SMP PT Pasangkayu, totaling 85 students from 3 classes. The sample is class B as the experimental class and class C as the control class. Tests were used to collect data consisting of pre-tests and post-tests. The test results show that the average pre-test score obtained by the experimental class is 35.14, while the average pre-test score obtained by the control class is 43.72. Then the average post-test score of the experimental class was 79.64, while the control class was 53.93. The calculated t-value (3.37) was greater than the t-table value (1.674), which means the hypothesis is accepted. The t-test is used to test the significance and relevance between two unpaired sample groups. Based on the research results, the use of mind mapping can improve the reading comprehension of eighth-grade students at SMP PT Pasangkayu

    This research discusses the psychological needs of the main character in the novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy using Abraham Maslow\u27s Hierarchy of Needs theory. The main focus of the research lies on five levels of needs: physiological, security, love and belonging, appreciation, and self-actualization. Through descriptive qualitative method and humanistic psychology approach, this research explores how Fahri’s character articulates and meets his needs. The results show that Fahri successfully fulfills each stage of need step-by-step, starting with basic necessities and culminating in self-actualization, evident in his intellectual, spiritual, and moral development. The findings reveal that Fahri\u27s character is a representation of an individual who has successfully reached the stage of self-actualization, and is able to contribute to his social environment through knowledge and faith

    Improving Student’s English Vocabulary Mastery through Scattergories Game

    The intent of this study is to determine whether employing Scattergories Game is effective in order to enhance the vocabulary mastery of grade eighth students of SMP Negeri 2 Palu. The pre-experimental research design was utilized by the researcher. In determining the sample, the researcher employed a purposive sampling technique. The selected sample was class VIII B, comprising 32 students. Data were obtained through the use of both pre-tests and post-tests. The outcomes of the data analysis indicates that the mean score of student’s post-tests 85.06 is higher than students pretest score 57.97. The research findings that the t-counted value (31.157) is higher than the t-table value (2.039). This indicates that the hypothesis of the study is accepted. In conclusion, scattegories game is effective to improve students\u27 vocabulary mastery of the student’s grade at SMP Negeri 2 Pal

    Bridging Perception and Practice: How Primary Teachers Adapt Instruction Based on Student Learning Styles

    This qualitative study investigates how primary school teachers adapt their instructional strategies based on their perceptions of students\u27 diverse learning styles in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) setting. Conducted at IBC School Makassar, Indonesia, the research involved classroom observations and semi-structured interviews with six primary teachers, one principal, and one school supervisor. The findings reveal that while teachers recognize the importance of tailoring instruction to accommodate various learning styles, visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic, adaptation in practice is shaped by a combination of personal experience, professional training, and contextual constraints. Teachers consistently employed multimodal strategies, blending visual aids, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities. However, no formal diagnostic tools were used; rather, teachers relied on intuition and continuous classroom observation. Institutional factors such as large class sizes, limited resources, and time constraints often impeded the full implementation of differentiated instruction. Despite these challenges, teachers demonstrated flexibility and creativity, using adaptive strategies that reflected a pragmatic response to classroom realities. This study highlights the dynamic interplay between perception and instructional practice in primary education. It underscores the need for ongoing professional development and institutional support to enhance teachers’ ability to personalize instruction. The findings offer implications for educational policy and teacher training, particularly in implementing student-centered approaches under curriculum reforms like Indonesia\u27s Kurikulum Merdeka.

    HUBUNGAN COPING STRESS DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TARUNA DI PENDIDIKAN VOKASI PELAYARAN DAN FORMULASI KEBIJAKANNYA

    This study aims to analyze the relationship between stress coping and cadets’ learning motivation in Vocational Maritime Education and to formulate relevant policies. The study population consisted of 95 first-year cadets’ at the Vocational Faculty of Maritime. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, where all 95 cadets’ became research participants. Data collection methods included questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis, with hypothesis testing performed using t-tests and F-tests. The results showed that Emotion-Focused Coping did not significantly affect learning motivation when analyzed separately. However, Problem-Focused Coping had a significant impact on learning motivation. When considered simultaneously, both coping strategies significantly influenced cadets’\u27 learning motivation. Based on these findings, this study suggests the necessity of a comprehensive policy to help cadets’ manage stress. This includes providing guidance and counseling services and developing effective stress management training programs to enhance cadets’ well-being, reduce dropout rates, and increase learning motivation. Implementing these policies is expected to support cadets’ in achieving optimal academic performance and completing their education on time.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara coping stres dan motivasi belajar taruna dalam Pendidikan Maritim Vokasional serta merumuskan kebijakan yang relevan. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari 95 taruna tahun pertama di Fakultas Vokasi Pelayaran. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, di mana seluruh 95 taruna menjadi partisipan penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data mencakup kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, dengan pengujian hipotesis melalui uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Emotion-Focused Coping tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar jika dianalisis secara terpisah. Namun, Problem-Focused Coping memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar. Ketika kedua strategi coping dipertimbangkan secara simultan, keduanya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar taruna. Berdasarkan temuan ini, penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya kebijakan yang komprehensif untuk membantu taruna dalam mengelola stres. Kebijakan tersebut mencakup penyediaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling serta pengembangan program pelatihan manajemen stres yang efektif guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan taruna, mengurangi angka putus kuliah, dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Implementasi kebijakan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung taruna dalam mencapai kinerja akademik yang optimal dan menyelesaikan pendidikan tepat waktu
