Generalized Continuous Integral Wavelet Transform and Its Properties
In this paper, the generalized admissibility condition has been obtained and corresponding generalized continuous integral wavelet transforms have been defined. Two new theorems on generalized continuous integral wavelet transforms are established
Traditions, a means of safeguarding authentic spiritual values
Preserving traditions, particularly in rural areas, can be regarded as a safety mechanism for those who can trace their roots to the respective regions. This entails the certainty of belonging to a specific social group. Therefore, in order to remain unchanged, customs and traditions need to be cultivated in the hearts of the younger generations as true spiritual values
Mixed and Non-mixed Normal Subgroups of Dihedral Groups Using Conjugacy classes
In this paper, we characterize and compute the mixed and non-mixed basis of Dihedral groups. Also, by computing the conjugacy classes, we describe all the mixed and non-mixed normal subgroups of Dihedral Groups
On the solutions of Pellian equation U^2-DV^2=K^2 N
In this paper we consider a class of Pell’s equation U^2-DV^2=k^2 N, (1)where D,N are positive integers, D is non-square and k is any integer. When (u,v) satisfy (1), we define (u+v√D)/k to be the solution of (1). We first introduce the class of solutions of (1) and call (u+v√D)/k to be the fundamental solution of the class, if v is the smallest positive value which occurs in the solutions of that class. We first derive the necessary and sufficient condition for any two solutions of (1) to belong to the same class and the bounds for the values of u,v occurring in the fundamental solution. We also derive an explicit formula which gives all the solutions of (1). We further present some interesting recurrence relations connecting the values of u,v. Finally, we obtain the results for total number of positive solutions of (1) not exceeding any given positive real number Z
On the stability of a multiplicative type sum form functional equation
In this paper we intend to discuss the stability of a sum form functional equation\begin{align*}\sum\limits\limits^n_{i=1}\sum\limits\limits^m_{j=1}f\left(p_iq_j\right)=\sum\limits\limits^n_{i=1}k\left(p_i\right)\sum\limits\limits^m_{j=1}q^{\beta }_j\end{align*}where are real valued mappings each having the domain ; , ; , are fixed integers and is a fixed positive real power different from 1 satisfying the conventions and
Some studies on products of Fuzzy soft graphs
In this paper, alpha, beta and gamma product of two fuzzy soft graphs are defined. The degree of a vertex in these product fuzzy soft graphs are determined and its regular properties are studied.
Ellipses and ovals: two curves so close and so far
In this work we will deal with ellipses and ovals, comparing them both from the geometric point of view and from the one of applications. There is a notable similarity between these curves so often it’s not possible to recognize which of the two figures is, unless we consider other elements to distinguish them. We will show the presence of both curves in architectural works and in treatises, motivating their use, when it’s possible, with geometric and technological considerations
Il ruolo delle variabili culturali nel processo di modernizzazione del Giappone
The present work aims to underline the role played by cultural variables on the development of social processes, both at micro and macro-social level. Specifically, I want to focus on the role played by the philosophical current of Confucianism in the process of medernization of Japan, which shows how the cultural aspects, both in terms of intenalized values, both in the form of cultural norms and models approved by the group have influence on the development of social processes.Japanese society has succeeded in renconciling the fundamental elements of the confucian tradition with the modernization, elements that represent a variable that has turned out to be of significant importance in the process of development of Japan
Certain results on metric and norm in fuzzy multiset setting
Fuzzy multiset is an extension of fuzzy set in multiset framework. In this paper, we review the concept of fuzzy multisets and study the notions of metric and norm on fuzzy multiset. Some results on metric and norm are established in fuzzy multiset context
Epistemic logic and CERMINE: a logical model for automatic extraction of structured metadata
In this article we develop a logical model for automatic extraction of structured metadata. We introduce a new predicate ???? – reads ‘extract’ – and a structure ???? to syntactically and semantically define metadata extracted with any automatic metadata extraction system. These systems will be considered, in the logical model created, as knowledge extraction agents (henceforth KEA). In this case KEA taken into consideration is CERMINE, a comprehensive open-source system for extracting structured metadata from scientific articles in a born-digital for
