Comparative Assessment of Physiochemical Properties of Locally Made Zobo from Three Markets in Delta State, Nigeria
Zobo drink is a non-alcoholic locally produced beverage that is widely consumed by many people due to its nutritional and medicinal values. The study was carried out in order to compare and assess the measured values of electrical properties of zobo drink with change in temperature and also to investigate its mineral compositions. Three samples of zobo drink obtained from Warri, Ughelli and Sapele in Delta State of Nigeria were locally prepared and analysed for electrical conductivity and pH at a temperature range of 0 to 60 oC at 5 oC interval. Measurements of electrical conductivity of the zobo sample were made in millipascal second by means of AZ Conductivity meter, model 8361, manufactured in USA, while measurements were also made of pH by means of pH/mV meter, Cole Parmer model 60061, Vernon Hills, Illinois. The results obtained were statistically analyzed after triplicate sampling and their mean values and standard deviation presented. The results obtained show that the average electrical conductivity values of the zobo samples varied from 5200 to 7210 µS/cm, with an average of 6260 µS/cm within the temperature range. The pH values of the zobo samples varied from 2.85 to 4.81. Extract of this drink shows high concentration of potassium and calcium with values above 100 mg/L, while concentration of other heavy metals were absent in Ughelli and Sapele, with trace amount of this component recorded in Warri. The high observed acid level of the drink will inhabit the growth of some microorganisms that are not tolerant to it, but might pose a danger if consumed at further higher temperature above 30oC

Koha is an integrated software system with required models for small to very large libraries. Being an open source any library wanted to go for automation for their library housekeeping operations can make use of this software
A Qualitative Study of Changes in the Traditional Roles of Housewives in Ibadan, Southwest Nigeria
Although hinged on the principles of patriarchy, the Nigerian society has witnessed appreciable changes in the roles of women. This changes is noticed in marriage particularly among married women or housewives. Thus, the phenomenon of full housewife is gradually fading away due to the joint influence of westernization, globalization, and modernization. Thus, this study delved into interrogating the various changes that have taken place in the traditional roles of housewives in selected locations in Ibadan. This study utilized a purely qualitative method of research because the subject matter focuses on making sense of meanings people attach to gender, gender roles, and patriarchy. Data were purposively collected through in-depth interviews in Ibadan metropolis, Nigeria. A total of 40 interviews were conducted. This article makes an important contribution to the data and literature on feminism and gender studies
Magic and its Value among the Imilangu of Kalabo and Sikongo Districts of Western Zambia
This study aimed at assessing indigenous knowledge, magic to be specific, among the Imilangu of Kalabo and Sikongo Districts of Western Zambia. This study expounded some magic activities that were performed among the Imilangu and it shows how valuable they were to the people. The Imilangu were able to manipulate the powers of the world to their will using charms. Turning a village into trees or a river if it was about to be attacked by enemies, crossing a river by riding on the back of a crocodile, winning court cases even when one was wrong, causing water, instead of bullets to be discharged from the barrel of the gun when one was shot and may more were some of the magic activities the Imilangu performed. This study argues that despite being labeled as an evil activity, magic was helpful in many aspects of life, especially providing security to the people. Moreover, magic was one of the revered arts among the Imilangu. People that performed magic were respected and considered to be life preservers. They were treated like gods and whatever they said was followed. Being a valued art, magic should be reintroduced in Imilangu
Ethical Leadership in Industrial Revolution 4.0 Requirements for Developing Ethical Leaderships in Vietnam
Facing on the increasing challenges and demands of practice are higher and higher, it gives the leader more qualities. One of the recent theoretical issues that many scholars care about is ethical leadership, especially the impact of the industrial revolution 4.0 that not only follows the traditional leadership styles but value, quality is universal like respect, service, fairness, honesty, responsibility, for the community,.. increasingly asserted as one of the essential foundations to help the visionary creator and influence those visions into the employees’ actions. With that meaning, ethical leadership becomes the motto of the spirit of service leadership, especially for Vietnam, a country with strong transformation from a planned economy to the socialist-oriented market economy, leadership values need to be adjusted, supplemented and developed to keep up with the requirements of the industrial revolution 4.0
Additive Weibull Log Logistic Distribution: Properties & Application
We introduce a new lifetime distribution with six parameters. This distribution is called the additive Weibull log logistic (AWLL) distribution based on the additive Weibull-generated family of distributions and the log logistic distribution as a baseline distribution. Important linear expansion forms for the cdf, pdf and reliability are obtained. Some statistical properties of the AWLL distribution including moments, incomplete moments, mean deviation, mode, median, skewness, and kurtosis are studied. Explicit expressions for the quantile function, moment-generating function and order statistics are obtained. The estimation of model parameters is discussed, using maximum likelihood method and the simulation study is conducted. The importance of the AWLL distribution is demonstrated through real data set compared with several lifetime distributions.

Laplace Transform for Convolution Type Linear Volterra Integral Equation of Second Kind
Volterra integral equations appear when we convert initial value problem to an integral equation. The solution of Volterra integral equation is much easier than the original initial value problem. Many problems of science and engineering like neutron diffusion problem, heat transfer problem, radiation transfer problem, electric circuit problem etc can be represent mathematically in terms of Volterra integral equation. In the present paper, authors discussed Laplace transform for convolution type linear Volterra integral equation of second kind. In application section, some applications are given to explain the usefulness of Laplace transform for finding the solution of convolution type linear Volterra integral equation of second kind
Drug Abuse: Factors, Types and Prevention Measures
Reviews the literature and states that appropriate research describing initial use of illicit drugs suggests that disruption of normal child-parent relationships, lack of involvement in organized groups, and few effective peer relationships may have been predisposing factors in some individuals initiating use of illicit drugs. Research also suggests that socialization to nontraditional norms, parental modeling of licit and illicit drug use, involvement with drug-using peers, and positive experiences with drugs may have been important factors in initial use for other individuals. It is concluded that both theory and research need a clear distinction between the several paths leading to initial drug abuse, particularly since separate statistical analyses may be necessary for people in each path
