Først udarbejdes en syntese af eksisterende litteratur om ledelse af Capacity Building. Herefter undersøges et casestudie af projekt ’Sikkert Patienflow’ i sundhedsvæsenet, hvor casen anvendes til at udfolde, nuancere og tilskrive ny viden til litteraturen. Undersøgelsesspørgsmålet der besvares er ’Hvilke ledelsesmæssige evner kan fremme skabelse af Capacity Building i organisationer?’. Som en del af besvarelsen på spørgsmålet udvikles en teoretisk model (Figur 2) som illustrerer sammenhænge mellem det organisatoriske lederskab og det selv-lederskab, der skal være til stede i styringskæden på forskellige niveauer for at skabe de forandringer, der ønskes
Research Note: The New Role of a Central Asian Diaspora: The Case of Bukharan Jews and Uzbekistan
Get PDFOne of the common features of post-Soviet Central Asian diapora is its close connection to the homeland (the independent countries of the former Soviet Central Asia) manifested in various economic ties, including investments into kinship networks and business ventures. This research note discusses the transnational Bukharan Jewish diaspora and its links to Uzbekistan that do not fit into this general pattern. Drawing on the history of Bukharan Jews as a ‘go-between’ minority at the time of Russia colonisation of Central Asia in the 19th and early 20th centuries, it investigates the ways in which this structural role has been actualised after the collapse of the USSR and mass emigration of the Bukharan Jews from Central Asia. While the Bukharan Jewish diaspora do not seem to establish new economic lniks to Uzbekstan, the Bukharan Jewish community ogranisaitons strive to become a recognised player in the field of people’s diplomacy. 
Philosophy From the texture of Everyday Life: The Critical-Analytic Methods of Foucault and J. L. Austin
Get PDFIn a 1978 lecture in Tokyo, Foucault drew a comparison between his own philosophical methodology and that of ‘Anglo-Saxon analytic philosophy’, claiming the label ‘analytic philosophy of politics’ for his own approach. This may seem like a somewhat surprising comparison given the gulf between contemporary analytic and continental philosophy, but I argue that it is a very productive one which indeed might help us reconsider this gulf. I proceed through a comparison between Foucault and the speech act theory of J. L. Austin, one of the analytic philosophers Foucault had in mind in his Tokyo lecture. By focusing on the methodological commonalities between Foucault and Austin, this article identifies the core of a philosophical methodology that cuts across the analytic/continental divide in philosophy in general while constituting a powerful alternative to the methods applied by analytic political philosophers specifically. This approach, which I term ‘analytic critique’, is one that starts from a critical analysis of what happens in ordinary lived experience and ‘bottom-up’ in an avowedly politically engaged way – thereby challenging the conceptual and political aloofness of contemporary political philosophy in the liberal-Rawlsian tradition. Foucault’s appropriation of the label ‘analytic philosophy’, it is argued, ought to function as a call to more imaginative methodological-theoretical engagement across the traditional division between continental and analytic approaches
