Aktivitas Seismik Gempa Bumi Laut Flores: Periode 30 Tahun
Pulau Flores, yang terletak di bagian timur Indonesia, khususnya Nusa Tenggara Timur, merupakan salah satu daerah di Indonesia Timur yang memiliki risiko tinggi terhadap gempa bumi. Catatan sejarah mencatat bahwa wilayah Flores telah mengalami gempa bumi dengan kekuatan magnitudo lebih dari 7 pada tahun 1992, 1996, 2015, dan 2021. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk melakukan sebuah studi yang komprehensif terhadap aktivitas seismik yang terjadi di wilayah ini. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami aktivitas gempa bumi di Laut Utara Flores selama periode 30 tahun dengan menganalisis frekuensi dan magnitudo gempa yang terjadi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemetaan berdasarkan aktivitas seismik dan distribusi frekuensi, yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk lebih memahami pola gempa bumi di wilayah Flores dan menganalisis perubahan frekuensi kejadian gempa selama periode yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa selama periode 30 tahun di Laut Flores, terdapat keterkaitan antara kejadian gempa bumi dengan magnitudo 4, yang mengindikasikan adanya aktivitas seismik yang berlangsung secara berkelanjutan di wilayah ini. Pola distribusi gempa selama periode ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga tentang tingkat aktivitas lempeng tektonik di wilayah Laut Flores, serta risiko potensial terjadinya gempa bumi di masa depan. Analisis Dampak Lalu Lintas Akibat Pembangunan Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu (SMPIT) Ramadanthy – Bogor
AbstrakKebutuhan akan pendidikan menghasilkan pergerakan arus lalulintas di sekitar SMPIT Ramadanthy, sehingga menimbulkan peningkatan volume lalulintas pada ruas jalan yang berada di sekitarnya. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, metode ini berpedoman pada MKJI tahun 1997 selanjutnya di analisis menggunakan metode statistik regresi linear yang perhitungannya menggunakan Software Ms.Excel tahun 2013 dan Software SPSS versi 21. Hasil analisa kinerja pada kondisi eksisting tahun 2018 di Jalan Villa Nusa Indah 2 saat hari kerja adalah 1,96 berarti jalan tersebut dalam keadaan macet, saat hari libur adalah 0,59 artinya jalan tersebut masih mampu menampung kendaraan diatasnya. Pada Jalan Raya Bojong Kulur saat hari kerja adalah 1,14 artinya jalan tersebut melebihi kapasitasnya, kinerja jalan pada hari libur adalah 0,34 berarti jalan tersebut stabil. Hasil prediksi bangkitan dan tarikan akibat pembangunan pada tahun 2020 pada Jalan Villa Nusa Indah 2 saat hari kerja adalah 3.029 smp/jam dan pada saat hari libur adalah 938 smp/jam, pada Jalan Raya Bojong Kulur saat hari kerja adalah 1.877 smp/jam dan saat hari libur 552 smp/jam mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2030 pada Jalan Villa Nusa Indah 2 saat hari kerja adalah 4.071 smp/jam dan saat hari libur yaitu 1.261 smp/jam, pada Jalan Raya Bojong Kulur saat hari kerja adalah 2.523 smp/jam dan saat hari libur 742 smp/jam. Dampaknya yaitu arus lalulintas yang dipaksakan atau macet pada kecepatan yang rendah dan antrian yang panjang serta terjadi hambatan yang besar. Rekomendasi yang diberikan ialah memaksimalkan fasilitas antar-jemput sekolah, menyediakan fasilitas lalulintas jalan, serta perbaikan pada geometrik jalan. Studi etnomatematika artefak peninggalan di Taman Purbakala Cipari Kuningan
This research aims to identify and discuss mathematical concepts and mathematical activities contained in ancient artifacts in the Cipari Archaeological Park. The research method used is a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted on several sources, namely, the management staff and the head of the museum collection stylist as Jupel BP3 (Archaeological Heritage Preservation Agency) Serang. The instruments in this study consisted of the researchers themselves as the main instrument, observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation guidelines. The data analysis technique used is the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model, namely: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that: (1) Mathematical concepts in ancient artifacts include: plane geometry concepts (circle, trapezoid, parallelogram, rectangle, irregular pentagon, circle, and ellipse), solid geometry concepts (beams, spheres) and patterns. number; and (2) Mathematical activities on ancient artifacts, including: counting, locating, explaining, measuring and designing
Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Divergen Matematis Peserta Didik Ditinjau dari Tipe Kepribadian Big Five
This research aims to analyze students' mathematical divergent thinking abilities in terms of the Big Five personality types which consist of five personality types, namely the openness to experience type, conscientiousness type, extraversion type, agreeableness type, and neuroticism type. This research is qualitative research with an exploratory method. The data collection technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include a Big Five personality type questionnaire, a mathematical divergent thinking ability test on flat-sided geometric material, and unstructured interviews. The subjects in this research were 5 students from class IX B at MTs As-Sa'adah Tasikmalaya who consistently had one most dominant personality type. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this study describe that students with the personality types of openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism have differences in completing the mathematical divergent thinking ability test. (1) Students with the openness to experience personality type when taking tests tend to be imaginative and able to fulfill 3 indicators, namely fluency, flexibility and elaboration. (2) Students with the conscientiousness personality type when taking tests tend to be thorough and able to fulfill all indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. (3) Students with the extraversion personality type when taking tests tend to look very active and are able to fulfill 3 indicators, namely fluency, flexibility and elaboration. (4) Students with the agreeableness personality type when taking tests tend to be calm and able to fulfill 3 indicators, namely fluency, flexibility and elaboration. Dampak Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Ethno-Flipped Classroom Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis Peserta Didik
The aims of this research is to determine the effect of using the Ethno-Flipped Classroom learning model on students' mathematical creative thinking skills. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Wanareja. This research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The research design was Posttest-Only Control Design, which involved 62 students as a sample which was divided into 31 students in the experimental class and 31 students in the control class. Determination of the sample using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection after being given treatment was done by using the students' mathematical creative thinking ability test questions. This research results showed that the mathematical creative thinking ability ofstudents who were taught with the Ethno-Flipped Classroom learning model was better than the students who used the Problem Based Learning model
Number Sense Peserta Didik Berdasarkan Kategori Habits of Mind
This research aims to describe the number sense of students based on habits of mind. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were number sense test, habits of mind questionnaire, and interview. The subjects in this study were based on the category of habits of mind of students in class VII-B who were taken purposively. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show: Learners with beginner category habits of mind have only relating and representing components of number sense. Learners with development category habits of mind have three number sense components namely quantity, counting, and relating. Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Lateral Matematika dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Open-Ended dengan Mempertimbangkan Tingkat Kepercayaan Diri
The capacity for lateral mathematical thinking plays a crucial role in students' problem-solving abilities. Enhancing mathematical lateral thinking skills involves presenting open-ended problems that encourage alternative approaches. The confidence level of students becomes a significant factor when they tackle problems using diverse methods. This study aimed to assess students' mathematical lateral thinking skills in addressing open-ended questions, taking into account their self-confidence. Employing a qualitative approach, the study targeted students at SMP Terpadu Darussalam Rajapolah Tasikmalaya as the population. Four students were chosen as interview subjects, comprising two with high self-confidence and two with low self-confidence. The research utilized questionnaires and tests assessing lateral thinking abilities as instruments. The outcomes revealed that students with high self-confidence exhibited proficiency in at least three aspects of lateral thinking. Additionally, those in the high self-confidence category approached problems with care, focus, creativity, and confidence. On the other hand, students with low self-confidence demonstrated proficiency in a maximum of two aspects of lateral thinking. Furthermore, those in the low self-confidence category displayed less thoroughness, lack of focus, and diminished confidence in exploring alternative solutions. Additionally, they did not employ mathematical symbols when addressing the problems presented in the questions
Analisis kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik slow learner ditinjau dari perbedaan gender
This study aims to determine the mathematical communication skills of slow learners (Slow Learners) in solving math problems in terms of gender differences. Slow learners are children who have an IQ level below or slightly below the average of other normal children and are included in the category of learners who have an IQ below the normal average, which is in the range of 79-90. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. The subject-taking technique is done by looking at the IQ data of students who are included in the category of slow learners (Slow Learners) from class XI IPA 1 MAN 2 Tasikmalaya City. The instrument in this study used a mathematical communication ability test sheet and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the way the subject responds to the mathematical communication ability test. male subjects (S-12) are categorized as having good communication skills. S-1 subjects are able to fulfill two of the three indicators of mathematical communication skills. S-1 subjects can state the daily events that exist in the problem in the form of mathematics in writing in full and in detail. Female subjects (S-13) are categorized as having inadequate mathematical communication skills. This is because the subject of S-13 is able to fulfill two of the three indicators of mathematical communication skills, but when stating the daily events that exist in the form of a mathematical model in writing, it is still incomplete and detailed and there are still a few errors in writing the form of equations
Analisis Miskonsepsi Peserta Didik dalam Menangani Soal Model Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum pada Materi Aljabar
The objective of this study is to elucidate students' misconceptions in solving questions related to the Minimum Competency Assessment model and identify the factors contributing to students' misconceptions in tackling questions on Minimum Competence Assessment in Algebra. The research design employed is qualitative descriptive research. The study involves four students from class IX- J at SMP Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya, each selected based on their category of misconceptions. Data collection methods include administering tests on the Minimum Competency Assessment model for Algebra accompanied by CRI (Comprehensive Result Interpretation) and conducting interviews. The test instrument consists of questions validated by two lecturers in Mathematics Education from Universitas Siliwangi. Data analysis involves conducting tests, followed by interviews with selected subjects to gain deeper insights into students' misconceptions in addressing questions on the Minimum Competency Assessment model for algebra. The study also aims to identify factors causing these misconceptions, and the findings are subsequently described. Conclusions drawn from the data analysis indicate that the first subject exhibited misconceptions related to the interpretation of symbols and generalization. The second subject encountered misconceptions concerning the interpretation of symbols and the application of rules. The third subject experienced misconceptions related to notation and generalization, while the fourth subject grappled with misconceptions associated with notation. Factors contributing to misconceptions include incorrect intuition for the first subject, incomplete/incorrect reasoning for the second subject, students' ability for the third subject, and incorrect intuition for the fourth subject
Kemampuan Number Sense Siswa Menurut Tingkatan Self Confidence
The aims of this research is to describe students’ number sense abilities in terms of self-confidence. This research is qualitative research with exploratory method. Tests of number sense abilities, distribution of self-confidence questionnaires, and interviews as data collection techniques. The subjects of this research were students in class VII-D SMP Negeri 21 Tasikmalaya who meet all indicators. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research results show that: (1) the number sense abilities from the high self-sonfidence student (S-4) produced correct answers without difficulty; (2) the number sense abilities from the medium self-confidence student (S-21) produced incorrect answers, used effective and efficient strategies, but there were errors in the solution process; (3) the number sense abilities from the low high self-confidence student (S-13) produced incorrect answers, but able to solve problems with effective and efficient strategies. There were errors, and not fully completed the indicators related to understanding measurement concepts and using appropriate units
