    Get PDF
Abstract— This electronic document is browsing across history of Iranian minerals export to clarify the key factors which helped to achieve the success or loose the chance on the subject. Iran with great reserve of minerals which consisting of 68 types has a great potential to substitute minerals export income instead of oil. This is the same scenario that Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also is planning to do so. To achieve this goal, need more attention and focus on mining activities such as exploration, extraction, production, processing of ore as well as export. During a last decade which Iran imposed under tremendous and hard European and United States sanctions, had less chance and hope to follow up this plan. But since beginning 2016 which the most of trading and business sanctions have been removed, Iran not only can equip its mines by brand new machinery and technology but may get much better interest from foreign mining companies and investors to do finance or invest as FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) in Iranian mines. Iran needs by proper planning increase share of GDP for mining production from some existing figure below 1% to above 5% to rely less on oil income, which has already had a share of 23% in Iran’s GDP. We believe to bypass this road need to create a professional brand for Iranian minerals. Hereby we are introducing for the first time a new abbreviation for branding of Iranian minerals named PMP (Persian Mining Product) as a solution for this purpose

The stock market volatility in 2015 has caused serious damage to investors and the market has also suffered severely and immensely. During the last year, large volatility and extreme events were increasingly frequent than before, which made great theoretical and practical significance to gain a deep understanding of extreme value statistics of the volatility. Extreme events also bring huge risk to financial market, therefore the risk prevention, estimation and prediction are of necessity. The research uses 1-min high-frequency datasets of Shanghai 50 Stock Index Futuresin 2015. The data comes from Tongdaxin Database. The paper is the first one to study Shanghai 50 Stock Index Futures and a relationship between recurrence interval and risk estimation has been constructed. We find the recurrence interval of stock volatility can be fitted with stretched exponential function and the recurrence interval decreases when the threshold decreases. Then we demonstrate the existence of short-term and long-term correlations in recurrence intervals. We further construct a hazard function and define a loss probability to evaluate risk and find a crossover point in the loss probability plot. The study would enable one to improve risk estimation andthere are some shortcomings and need to be perfect in the future

Abstract- Available literature review suggested that perception and consciousness of consumers has been related to all the aspect of environmentally friendly consumption and existing construct for measurement usually misperceived social and ecological issues. The aim of present research is to study the social issues and fair labour conditions in trading and manufacturing process of India. It is important to understand the difference between liking of service or product due to it being less harmful and less damaging to the environment or due to its abiding with international labour standards and social justice. Objective of this study was also to propose a scale for Consciousness of Fair Consumption, Moral and other oriented reasoning (MR), Environmental concern (EC), Intention to buy Fair-Trade Products, Purchase of Fair Trade products which would be unidimensional in nature. Secondary objective of this study was to assess reliability, validity and construct model fit in consumer durable products. Researchers used descriptive research design by selecting 240 respondents from Indian consumer product industry through multi stage sampling methods. Structured questionnaire has been developed based on the literature review and filled by face to face personal interview methods through mall intercept method of data collection. The result explained that Consumer Fair Consumption scale is unidimentional, reliable and valid as a proposed scale for fair consumption. &nbsp

A Simulation Analysis of Effectiveness Measurement for Unmanned Ground Vehicle

    Get PDF
In general, Unmanned Ground Vehicle like robot is one of the most effective weapon system based on leading edge technology in the modern warfare. However, its efficiency is still a difficult question to answer. Moreover, since the future warfare is getting more network centric rather than platform centric, it is even more difficult and complex to estimate its operational effectiveness. Therefore it is challenging task to develop a methodology or approach to show how efficiency it is during a ground battle of the network centric warfare. One clear distinction of this paper from others is that we are considering communication error effects depending upon terrain condition near each platform. The terrain condition is defined based on a small cell and its altitude in each cell. In this paper, we propose a new simulation framework for how to measure the operational effectiveness of unmanned ground vehicle in a small unit combat scenario. The framework is processed with following three phases. At first, we consider all relational factors for input and output variables in communication network environment of all platforms. Secondly, build a simulation model and select a measure of effectiveness based on purpose of the system performance. Thirdly, execute a simulation model and produce MOE do the output analysis. We compared the difference among three cases based on terrain condition

Multi-Level Thresholding for Image Segmentation With Swarm Optimization Algorithms

    Get PDF
Image segmentation is an important problem for image processing. The image processing applications are generally affectedfromthe segmentation success. There is noany image segmentation method which gives good results for all sorts of images. That's why there are many approaches and methods forimage segmentationin the literature. And one of the most used is the thresholding technique. Thresholding techniques can be categorized into two topics: bi-level and multi-level thresholding. Bi-level thresholding technique has one threshold value which separates the image into two groups. However, multi-level thresholding technique uses n threshold values where n greater than one. In this paper, two swarm optimization algorithms (Particle Swarm Optimization, PSO and Cat Swarm Optimization, CSO) are applied on finding the optimum threshold values for the multi-level thresholding. In literature, there are some minimization or maximization functions to find the best threshold values for thresholding problem. Some of these methods are: Tsalli's Entropy, Kapur's Entropy, Renyi's Entropy, Otsu's Method (within class variance/between class variance), the Minimum Cross Entropy Thresholding (MCET) etc.In this work, Otsu's (within class variance) method, which is one of these popular functions,is used as the fitness function of algorithms. In the experiments, five real images are segmented by usingParticle Swarm Algorithm and Cat Swarm Optimization Algorithms. The performances of the swarm algorithms on multi-level thresholding problem arecompared with Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and fitness function (FS) values. As a result, the PSO yields better performance than CSO

Its simulate the UAE strategy through the new technologies as well as modern techniques that used to create new things has never been made before and can be recognized as a unique product. This article introduced a DSF to support the oil producer countries to diversify their GDP resources and to reduce its oil dependency

An Efficient Parallel Algorithm for Latin Square Design: A Multi Core CPU Approach

    Get PDF
Abstract— The theory of Latin squares is very important tool in design theory. Like much of design theory, Latin squares have various applications in statistics, finite geometries and experimental design, to name a few. In this paper, we proposed an efficient parallel algorithm for Latin square design which have desirable properties for parallel array access. These squares provide conflict free access to various subsets of an n x n array using n memory modules. A transversal of such a square is a set of n entries such that no two entries share the same row, column or symbol. We present a general construction method for building parallel Latin square of order n2 for all n. The proposed algorithm presents a quick parallel method to produce a Latin square design and a parallel conflict access of data in SIMD system. The simulation results of the proposed parallel algorithm for Latin square design were compared with the traditional sequential algorithm Latin square design in terms of speedup and efficiency. The results of parallel Latin Square design were very promising and showed a potential that this design could successfully be applied to the parallel routing problems for conflict free data access. At last, the results show that the parallel versions of former sequential algorithm with simple modifications achieve the super linear speedup up to 200 times for matrix size of 256.   Index Terms: Latin square, multi core processor, parallel processing, simulation, parallel memory system, skewing scheme, multistage interconnection network
