A inovação educativa do colégio de uma universidade catarinense: questões sobre continuidade
Get PDFO presente trabalho descreve a pesquisa realizada no colégio de uma universidade catarinense, que visou compreender o processo de consolidação e continuidade do Ensino por Problematização e Pesquisa (EPP), construído e implementado coletivamente de 2003 a 2010. O texto destaca as perspectivas teóricas da inovação educativa; as questões de continuidade e não continuidade relativas ao processo inovador, articulando-as ao EPP. Finalmente, apresenta e discute os dados obtidos que possibilitaram concluir de que a continuidade da inovação analisada não se evidencia na atualidade, em vista dos seguintes fatores: rotatividade da equipe de professores e coordenação, e a cessação do investimento financeiro que subsidiava a formação docente
Knowledge evidenced by prospective mathematics teachers when performing a task involving geometry, teaching and the use of technology
Get PDFThe types of knowledge that prospective mathematics teachers use when faced with tasks involving technology are interesting because this knowledge can be used as a basis for analyzing the relevance of these types of activities when teaching mathematics. This investigation is intended to identify the knowledge evidenced by these prospective teachers when they carry out an activity involving geometry, technology and pedagogy. To do so, a task was designed which was used with 65 trainee teachers, and the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge model was used to analyze the information gathered. The results show that prospective teachers make use of knowledge in all of the domains and almost all of the subdomains of the model, confirming that this type of activity triggers these types of knowledge
Contribuições e Principais Intervenções da Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental no Tratamento do Transtorno Bipolar
No full textEste trabalho tem como objetivo averiguar as contribuições da Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental no tratamento do Transtorno Bipolar e focar em aspectos específicos das intervenções realizadas no tratamento. O trabalho consiste em uma revisão narrativa sobre este tema. A busca bibliográfica foi realizada através dos sites pubmed e google acadêmico. Os resultados mostraram que a Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental auxilia na prevenção de recaídas, em episódios de humor mais curtos, menor número de hospitalizações e menor variabilidade dos sintomas maníacos. Dentre as principais técnicas utilizadas, a psicoeducação parece ser a mais utilizada e eficaz no tratamento do Transtorno Bipolar. No entanto, a farmacoterapia ainda é considerada a principal escolha no tratamento
Tachymetry as Resource for Teaching Mathematics in Brazil at the end of the Nineteenth Century
Get PDFThis article deals with the history of educational materials for the teaching of mathematics in Brazilian education in the last years of the 19th century. The assumption is that the production and use of these resources are related to the methods and other elements of school practices and cultures. The objective is to describe historical elements of the diffusion of the tachymetric method in Brazil, indicated for the teaching of mathematics, from the French influence. It was observed that, faced with the challenge of the expansion of popular primary education, there was a tendency to value material resources created in the diffusion of the intuitive method, strongly prioritising the sense of vision and admitting the possibility to obtain almost immediate results, without presupposing the axiomatic formalisation and deductive. Among the educational materials of the time were those of the tachymetric method that wanted to facilitate the study of mathematics in primary elementary schools
"It is not hard to teach Math": The prominence of Nedem in the diffusion of Modern Math in Paraná’s State
Get PDFThis paper discusses the trajectory and prominence of NEDEM (Centre for the Study and Dissemination of Teaching of Mathematics), which is a group that in the 1960s spread the Modern Math Movement in Paraná’s state in Brazil. Based on historical sources constituted during the elaboration of eight Master and two Doctor theses, concluded in the first decades of the year 2000, in the Postgraduate Program of the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná’s State, the study, conducted in the perspective of cultural history (Chartier, 1990), shows that NEDEM’s group actions had wide reach in the training of primary and junior high school teachers, either with the production of two collections of math books or with the courses taught in different cities of the state. The group became recognized in Brazil for the production of primary and junior high school textbooks, training courses and also due to the entrepreneurial and committed spirit of its founder, Professor Osny Antonio Dacol, which was an expert who left a legacy to the history of mathematics education, being recognized for his dynamic participation in the diffusion of the modern math movement, and as the main representative of the movement in the state
Apoio e rede social no contexto urbano: percepções de mães de crianças prematuras
Get PDFPesquisa transversal de abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa com objetivo de analisar pelo referencial da Promoção da Saúde a percepção de apoio e rede social no contexto urbano. Aplicou-se escala de MOS-SSS e um questionário a 75 mães de crianças com até 24 meses de idade, nascidas prematuras e seguidas em ambulatório especializado de crianças de risco. A rede social da maioria tem no máximo três pessoas, sendo que 33% não tem amigos. A dimensão afetiva da família foi o apoio mais percebido (86,66%). Da cidade de moradia apontaram potencialidades (família, acesso aos serviços de saúde, segurança) e fragilidades (lazer, áreas públicas), elementos que subsidiam a implementação de ações e políticas em Promoção da Saúde. Conclui-se que a percepção positiva do apoio e rede social no contexto urbano, além de favorecer o desenvolvimento e qualidade de vida dos prematuros, infere um alto suporte social, quesito necessário para um município saudável
Modalidades de Expressão dos Jovens Gamers nas Redes Sociais Digitais
Get PDFO presente estudo, de caráter netnográfico, visou analisar as modalidades de expressão da subjetividade dos jovens gamers nas redes sociais e suas relações com a saúde. Foram entrevistados oito jovens na rede social facebook, em comunidades relacionadas ao console Playstation 4. Para sistematização dos resultados foi utilizada a análise de conteúdo. A análise evidenciou as seguintes categorias: comunicação escrita, interesse grupal, agressividade, valorização da imagem e do semblante, sinalizando modos de habitar o espaço cibernético. Tais dimensões devem ser consideradas ao se planejar políticas públicas e ações de promoção da saúde voltadas à realidade dos jovens gamers, tendo-se como apoio os princípios da cultura de paz e de respeito às diferenças, em busca do desenvolvimento de espaços saudáveis à expressão das singularidades
