Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Musi Rawas Regency, based on data from the P3MD Secretariat (Village Community Empowerment Development Program) as of September 2019 there are approximately 183 BUMDes business units. This research aims to obtain the results of evaluation of the successes and failures in the establishment of BUMDes, in order to obtain alternative models for the implementation of the next BUMDes establishment, in line with the research roadmap that has been compiled. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of the dissemination of questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation with data analysis used, namely descriptive and explanatory statistical techniques. The establishment of BUMDes is considered important because it has a role as a bridge to create the welfare of the village community through an independent village making the village more financially empowered. This means that BUMDes has an important and beneficial role for the welfare of villagers. The issue of the successful establishment of BUMDes in some villages became booming and a warm discourse in other villages, which also wanted to establish BUMDes, as well as BUMDes in some villages that have not succeeded. Therefore, this study can be an input for other villages that do not have BUMDes, including villages that already have BUMDes but have not developed properly

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Peatland is suboptimal land which has high potential to be used as agricultural, but the potential of this peat soil has challenges that are not easy to manage in a sustainable manner. Incorrect management can result in peatlands experiencing drought stress. A technological approach that can be used to optimize the use of peat soil that is experiencing drought stress in maize can be done by applying biological fertilizers. The results of this study are expected to optimize the growth of maize in drought stress peat soils. The design used in this study was a completely randomized block design with 2 treatment factors, namely the first treatment factor for biological fertilizers, namely H0: without mycorrhizae, H1: Mycorrhizae + Petrobio, H2: Mycorrhiza + Agrozeabiochar, H3: Mycorrhizae + Pugam. The second treatment factor was the intensity of watering, namely P1: Watering once a day, P2: Watering once in 3 days, P3: Watering once in 5 days, P4: Watering once in 7 days. The results showed that the application of biological fertilizers was able to increase the average plant height, stem diameter, and root length. Biofertilizer Micoriza + Petrobio was able to increase plant height by 11.7 cm and biological fertilizer Micoriza + Pugam (H3) was able to increase stem diameter by 1.3 and root length by 115.7 in drought stress peat soil compared to control

The existence of chili plants cannot be separated from pests such as fruitflies (Bactrocera sp.). This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of anthrax compounds in controlling fruitflies attacks on chili plants. Symptoms of the attack caused by the presence of black spots on the chili. The methodology used in writing this paper was based on some literatures studied of scientific articles. The results of reviews from several journals, an anthraxant compound that was effective for controlling fruitflies pests on chili plants is methyl eugenol. The most effective dose of Methyl Eugenol was 1.5 ml/trap. Utilization of used pheromones greatly affects the population of male fruit flies. This could significantly suppress and control the subsequent regeneration of fruitflies populations. The most effectively time to application Methyl Eugenol fruit fly trap was in the morning and evening. The most common fruitflies found in traps was the species Bactrocera dorsalis. In conclusion, pheromone traps are effective traps to reduce fruitflies populations on chili plants

Currently, food security and food safety must be carried out in order to ensure the availability of healthy food for consumption. One of the input factors for pollution to health is the excessive use of synthetic chemical pesticides in the production process in the field. In an effort to control pests and plant diseases, the government has implemented an integrated pest control program (IPM), but this technology has not yet been developed. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of several rice varieties and the use of biological agents in suppressing pest attacks on rice plants. The study was conducted in a randomized block design with two paired treatments, namely the use of biological agents and synthetic chemicals on three new high yielding varieties of lowland rice This research was carried out on the cooperator farmer's land area of 1 ha. The technological components applied are the use of three New Superior Varieties (Inpari Digdaya, Inpari IR Nutri Zinc and Inpari 46) and biological control. The results showed that the main pest and disease attacks on the treatment of biological agents and synthetic chemicals were not significantly different. However, in the treatment of using new superior varieties, there was a significant difference in the intensity of panicle neck blast disease from the three varieties. The Inpari 46 variety has the highest productivity compared to the other two varieties

The high production value causes demdan to increase, especially maintenance dan feeding with high protein content. Silkworm flour (Tubifex sp.) is a addition of silk worms (Tubifex sp.) as a combination of artificial feed especially to increase the high protein content to support the growth dan development of catfish (Clarias sp.). They studied aimed made deaded silkworms (Tubifex sp.) was reprocessed into fed by made silkworm floured so that the floured could was used as a protein substituted dan could was formulated in othered fed ingredients. The resulted of the studied explained the nutritional contented of silk wormed (Tubifex sp.) in which 57% protein, 13% fat, 4.86% carbohydrates, dan 9.76% water contented. In addition had several important nutritional contented, silk wormed have also been equipped with 13 kinds of amino acids, namely 7 essential amino acids dan 6 non-essential amino acids. So that silk worms (Tubifex sp.) can have a fairly high nutritional content when the nutritional contented was needed by fish seeded for the growth process of catfish. Therefore, the addition of silk worms in feed can stimulate fish to eat which has a high protein content so that it is easily digested dan absorbed to provide optimal utilization of protein intake in terms of growth dan is expected to increase protein in catfish

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Organic mustard greens are one of the most popular agricultural products in the Udayana Park area. This product when sold fresh at harvest has a high price with a fairly high price difference if sold in the conventional market. The purpose of this community service is to determine the growth and yield of four mustard varieties in the application of mycorrhizal biological fertilizers, cow drum fertilizers, and inorganic nutrients in the Udayana Park area. The demonstration plot method was carried out using a completely randomized design using four mustard varieties, namely: V1: Dakota, V2: Kumala, V3: Shinta, and V4: Tosakan with three replications, so that 12 experimental plots were obtained. Parameters observed were plant height at 14 and 28 days after planting (cm), a number of leaves at 14 and 28 dap (cm), wet weight of 35 dap (g/plant), and dry weight of 35 dap (g/plant). The data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and if there was a significant difference, it was continued using the Least Significant Difference test at the level of 5%. The results of the demonstration plot showed that mycorrhizal biofertilizer was given at a dose of 5 t/ha with the addition of cattle manure fertilizer (12 t/ha) accompanied by the provision of plant inorganic nutrients (375 kg/ha urea, 310 kg/ha SP 36 and 225 kg/ha KCl) can increase the height, a number of leaves, wet and dry weight of the Shinta variety. The Shinta variety is the best variety to produce the highest mustard yield

The study was done in broiler chicken farm PT Unggas Jaya at Selebar district, Bengkulu city. Method used in the study was case study. This study used primary and secondary data. Primary data was taken directly from study subject. Secondary data obtained from revant agencies. Interview method used to obtain primary data by using questionnaire to the venture’s owner such as administration and organization data, fixed cost, variable cost, production and marketing data. Meanwhile secondary data obtained from district office and agriculture and husbandry office. Data analysis using Operating profit, Net profit, R/C ratio, Profile rate and Profitability. The study result shows that broiler chicken farm PT Unggas Jaya is profitable and deserve to be developed with analysis result as follows Operating profit Rp 839.008.000, Net profit Rp 429.081.00, RC ratio 1.105, Profit Rate 10.58%, and Profitability 5.56%

This study aims to determine the concentration of P, N, and plant growth in the intercropping pattern of maize-soybean added mycorrhizal biofertilizer and plant nutrition. The experimental design used was a factorial randomized block design consisting of two treatment factors. The first factor is mycorrhizal biofertilizer (M) which consists of 2 levels: M0 = No mycorrhizal fertilizer and M1 = Using biological fertilizer (1 ton/ha). The second factor is the source of nutrition (U) which consists of 4 levels, namely: U0 = Without the addition of nutrients, U1 = With the addition of 100% dose of inorganic fertilizer only (maize = urea 300 kg/ha and Phonska 200 kg/ha, soybeans = 60 kg/ha Urea and 120 kg/ha Phonska), U2 = With the addition of 100% dose of cattle manure (12 tons/ha), and U3 = With the addition of 50% dose of cattle manure (6 t/ha) + 50% dose of inorganic fertilizer (maize = urea 150 kg/ha and Phonska 100 kg/ha, soybean = 30 kg/ha Urea and 60 kg/ha Phonska. The results showed that 50% dose of cattle manure (6 t/ha) + 50% dose of inorganic fertilizer (maize = urea 150 kg/ha and Phonska 100 kg/ha, soybean = 30 kg/ha Urea and 60 kg/ha Phonska) plus mycorrhizal biofertilizer in maize-soybean intercropping gave the best concentration of N, P and plant growth.

Many pests, are pests for this plant, one of which is fruitfly. Fruitfly (Bactrocera sp.) have 400 species with different levels of attack in each species. Cultivation of this green water guava fruit is very profitable for farmers and can improve their economy. Fruit farmers generally still depend on synthetic pesticides to control fruitfly, even though this method can pollute the environment and the resulting plant products. This review aimed to identify and overcome fruit fly pests that attacked deli green guava with proper control and attention to all aspects. This writing is based on a study of the literature taken and then analyzed and developed into a review that is easy to understand. Fruit fly pest control is usually done by wrapping fruit using plastic. However, farmers are often reluctant to use this method because of the large number of fruits to pack. Another more effective way is to use vegetable insecticide control by using methyl eugenol. It was concluded that the fruit fly pest attack can damage the quality of the green water guava fruit which has an impact on the selling value, so effective control must be used such as the use of methyl eugenol

Snakehead fish tempoyak sauce is a diversification product that available throughout the year. Snakehead fish tempoyak sauce in packaging pouch could be a choice as typical souvenir from South Sumatera and at the same time support Food for Tourism program or even as alternative souvenir from Palembang and solution in era pandemic. This study aimed to found the greatest formula between tempoyak and condiment to produce prefer and nutritious e.g. protein of tempoyak sauce. This study used different treatment for the amount of tempoyak i.e. A) A1 =  40 g, A2 = 50 g and A3 = 60 g. Different amount of condiment i.e. (B): B1= 100 g B2= 200 g and B3= 300 g. The organoleptic properties analysis such as appearance,  texture and taste were determined. All the treatments were not statistically significant. Whereas, taste panelis testing result indicated both like and very like. The result showed that A3B2 combination with 60 g tempoyak dan 300 g condiment was the greatest treatment. So then, snakehead fillet tempoyak sauce was accepted by panelis
