Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The advancement of agricultural practices in Indonesia, particularly in wetland tillage, through the introduction of Android-controlled hand tractors is essential to tackle the challenges posed by diminishing labor and agricultural land. This study aimed to evaluate the financial viability of implementing a Wi-Fi-based Android-controlled hand tractor in comparison to manual operation. The methodology encompasses technical field capacity testing, cost efficiency, and financial assessment. The financial analysis of the five-year investment simulation revealed a Net Present Value (NPV) of IDR 19,918,961, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 28.03%, a payback period of 1.78 years, and an ROI of 60.15%, which is 10.4% lower than the conventional method. These findings suggest that investing in this technology is not only financially feasible but also profitable. The adoption of Android-controlled hand tractors enhances productivity and has the potential to yield substantial economic returns for the agricultural sector

Middlemen dominantly determine the price of maize harvested by farmers. Limited market access and lack of post-harvest handling results in very low purchase prices by middlemen. Farmers often plant maize rather than rice because it experiences longer droughts than the rainy season. The study was conducted to analyze farmers' attitudes towards the risk of price and climate uncertainty in maize farming. The method used was an analysis of risk sources including human resources, processes, productivity, and reputation. The assessment of price and climate uncertainty used risk mapping. The results explained price uncertainty and drought at high risk level. The impact or severity of the risk of price uncertainty at a large level. The likelihood of price uncertainty was at the high level of very frequent, while drought was at the average level of frequent. The risk sources of price uncertainty and drought affected the purchasing behavior of production factors, which did not increase and tended to decrease, as well as a decrease in post-harvest handling of maize. The purchase of fertilizer and payment of labor costs reduced the profit margin of maize sales, which were subjected to pressure from middlemen who determined the purchase price. The inability to add value to maize weakens the farm household economy as farmers had no other source of income. The farming risk sources of price uncertainty and prolonged drought were sources of risk that need to be controlled

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The Duku plant (Lansium domesticum) is one of the popular tropical fruit in indonesia. Using the idea of plant cells' totipotency, tissue culture is an alternate method for a quick and massive propagation of high-quality duku plant seedlings. This research was aimed to evaluate different sterilization materials and procedures on duku leaf midrib explants through tissue culture. The research was conducted from June to September 2024 at Tissue Culture Laboratory, Department of Agronomy, Universitas Sriwijaya (2°59’23.4”S 104°43’53.4”E). A combination of sterilizing substances, including 70% alcohol, fungicide, bactericide, liquid detergent, and NaOCl, were utilized in this sterilization procedures. The percentage of live explants, browning explants, and explants infected with bacteria or fungi then were calculated using parametric descriptive analysis. The results showed that the P3 treatment's sterilant combination liquid detergent for 3 minutes, 0.2% of fungicide and bactericide for 10 minutes, 1% NaOCl for 15 minutes, and 70% alcohol for 5 minute produced the highest percentage of live explants (46%) with a relatively low percentage of contaminated explants (30%) and the lowest percentage of browning explants (23%). Thus P3 treatment was concluded as the best treatment to reduce the contamination level and browning of duku leaf midrib explant

The purpose of this research was to find out what ingredients are really and how they affect the cultivation of white oyster mushrooms, as well as their development in the blog. White oyster mushrooms have a very high value in food production and cultivation. The use of baglogs is one of our studies in the development of white mushrooms. One important factor in harvesting high quality mushrooms is the durability and quality of the mushrooms themselves. The more optimal the harvesting method, the better the durability and quality of the picked mushrooms. Conclusions are based on the results obtained, taking into account the formulation of the problem and the objectives of the study. The stages of Mr. Eko Supandi's white oyster mushroom cultivation process are making a barn, preparing and making seedlings, making planting media or baglogs which consist of several stages, namely preparation of planting media, mixing ingredients and composting, packaging media, pasteurization, the next stage of seedling inoculation, incubation of seedlings for 40-60 days, baglog maintenance, harvesting and post-harvest

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Stunting is one of the main indicators of poor nutritional status in children whose prevalence is still high in various regions in Indonesia, including urban areas. This research examines stunting mitigation strategies through community empowerment in urban agriculture. The focus of this research is urban farming in Bandung, West Java, known as Buruan SAE. The study aimed to was analyze the role of urban agriculture as part of the stunting mitigation strategy. This study examines various urban farming initiatives in Buruan SAE and how they impact local communities in obtaining and consuming nutritious food. This research used a qualitative approach. The results show that Buruan SAE urban farming in Bandung can play an important role in stunting mitigation by increasing families' access to safe, fresh and nutritious food products and providing education on healthy eating and urban farming practices. Urban farming activities also contribute to community empowerment and increase awareness of the importance of nutritious food for a healthy life

This study aimed to determine the effect of social capital, physical capital, financial capital on the empowerment of post pandemic Covid-19 farmers in the coastal area of Deli Serdang Regency. The study was conducted in Deli Serdang Regency as one of the areas affected by Covid-19 in 2020 ago both directly and indirectly. The population in this study was 12,178 farmers' families who were in the coastal area of Percut Sei Tuan Sub-district, the sample in this study was 99 respondents determined by the Slovin formula. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data are analyzed with multiple linier regression analysis. The results showed that social capital and financial capital had a positive and significant effect on the empowerment of farmers in the coastal area of Deli Serdang Regency, and the physical capital of the environment had a positive but not significant effect on community empowerment in the coastal area of Deli Serdang Regency. Based on the results of research it is recommended that the government empower the community optimally and continuously by utilizing available community resources, such as social capital, financial capital and environmental physical capital in order to increase farmers' income and welfare in coastal areas

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The research that has been conducted is a study of the effect of the Use of PEG electrolyte hydrogels on the performance of Dye Sensitized Solar Cells with water hyacinth leaf dye extract. This research aimed to study and determine the performance of dye sensitized solar cells using a variety of electrolyte hydrogels based on PEG 4000 and PEG 6000 with concentrations of 5%, 10% and 15% respectively. This study measured the absorbance of water hyacinth leaf dyes using a UV-VIS spectrophotometer and to determine the performance DSSC itself measured using a multimeter which was carried out with a light source of the halogen lamp. The parameters observed in this study dye absorption, current and voltage, power calculation, fill factor, and DSSC efficiency. The results showed that the use of PEG-based electrolyte hydrogels in DSSC can increase the efficiency and stability of DSSC use. The best DSSC performance using water hyacinth dye extract with the use of PEG-based electrolyte hydrogel occurred in DSSC G with 15% PEG 6000. The electrical characters produced on the sample are Isc: 0.0133 mA, Voc: 0.698 mV, Imax: 0.0073 mA, Vmax: 0.534 mV, Pmax: 0.003898 mW, FF: 0.62856, and efficiency of 0.021%

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Storage pests caused considerable harm in storage facilities due to their quick reproductive capacity, ease of dissemination, and facilitation of mold proliferation. This research aimed to identify insect species present in storage commodities through the observation and morphological identification of warehouse pest species. The research was performed via a microscope and identification manuals, with specimens gathered from the distribution of warehouse insects in the markets of Palembang City. Data acquired using sample techniques and specification determination. Observations conducted in various marketplaces within the Palembang region revealed that the warehouse pest population table indicated distinct population variability for each species across the markets. The species comprise Sitophilus oryzae, Tribolium castaneum, Oryzaephilus surinamensis, Cryptolestes ferrugineus, Carpophilus dimidiatus, and Rhyzopertha dominica. Each species possesses distinct traits, whether in the head, thorax, or abdomen. The species Tribolium castaneum was only located in the Kebun Semai market, whereas the population of Oryzaephilus surinamensis was predominantly discovered in the Perumnas market. The species Rhyzopertha dominica and Cryptolestes ferrigineus were predominantly found at the Sekip Ujung Market and Kebun Semai Market. In the Perumnas market, there are 22 specimens of S. oryzae and 18 specimens of O. surinamensis. In the Sekip Ujung market, there are 18 specimens of R. dominica and 19 specimens of S. oryzae. In the Kebun Semai market, there are 17 specimens of R. dominica, 13 specimens of T. castaneum, and 11 specimens of C. ferrugineus, respectively. The state of the warehouse's physical condition. The implementation of ceramic floors, net-covered open ventilation, roll-up doors, pallets, and a zinc roof helps mitigate insect populations in the storage warehouse, hence minimizing damage to commodities

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Chili pepper plants (Capsicum frutescens L.) have high potential for cultivation. The density of pests that attack cultivated plants causes the pest population to swell. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of babadotan weeds as botanical pesticides on chili pepper plants. The method used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RAK), using 5 treatments, namely P0 (control), P1 (50 g / L), P2 (100 g / L), P3 (150 g / L), P4 (200 g / L) consisting of 6 replications with a total of 30 plants. The results of this study showed the growth of chili plants that were given botanical pesticides from several treatments carried out, namely plants that were not treated or not given pesticides were attacked more than chili plants that were given a lot of pesticides. In terms of plant height, the growth of chili plants that were given more botanical pesticides was higher than plants that were given less pesticides, in terms of the number of leaves, chili plants that were given more botanical pesticides had more leaves than chili plants that received less treatment. The conclusion of this study shows that botanical pesticides from babadotan weeds act as insecticides, repellents, binders, and pest growth inhibitors. Thus, it is necessary to use insecticides in the right dosage to control pest attacks on cayenne pepper
PENGEMBANGAN PROTOTYPE APLIKASI ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PASIEN KANKER PALIATIF PADA ASPEK BIOLOGIS, SPIRITUAL, DAN BUDAYA
Tujuan: Menghasilkan prototype aplikasi asuhan keperawatan paliatif terkhusus pasien kanker pada aspek biologis, spiritual dan budaya berdasarkan standar diagnosis, luaran dan intervensi keperawatan Indonesia. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian research and development dengan merujuk pada model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis - Design Development - Implementation - Evaluation). Perancangan dan pembuatan aplikasi ini dilakukan dengan blackbox testing dan usability testing. Blackbox testing digunakan untuk menguji kelayakan aplikasi, sedangkan usability testing untuk mengukur manfaat aplikasi bagi mahasiswa keperawatan. Uji usability dilakukan pada 20 responden yang diambil menggunakan metode non probabilllity sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Uji ini menggunakan kuesioner Computer System Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ) yang diberikan kepada responden setalah mengoperasikan aplikasi. Hasil: Hasil blackbox testing menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur aplikasi berjalan sesuai harapan tanpa ada kesalahan operasional. Sedangkan, usability testing didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,90, nilai usability ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat user experience terhadap aplikasi rencana asuhan keperawatan sangat baik sehingga dapat diterima pengguna. Simpulan: Pembuatan rencana asuhan keperawatan berbasis elektronik dinilai lebih efisien dibanding pembuatan rencana asuhan keperawatan secara manual. Aplikasi ini berguna sebagai panduan mahasiswa keperawatan dengan berlandaskan buku pedoman keperawatan yakni SDKI, SLKI dan SIKI.Kata kunci: kanker, paliatif, asuhan keperawatan, aplikas
