Practicing Free Science Research During Summer Vacation: Focus on 4th to 6th Grade Elementary School
Full text link本稿は，旧学習指導要領（平成20年告示）において，小学校第4学年～第6学年の夏休み理科自由研究の実践をまとめたものである。低い学年の方が自由研究に対し，頑張り，楽しみ，今後も取り組みたい傾向がある，ということがわかった。また，自由研究テーマの分類に関して，学年間に有意差はなかった。そして，児童の振り返りに関する記述から，自由研究の取り組み方について考察し，整理した。This paper gives a brief description of the practice of free science research during the summer vacation for the 4th to 6th grades of elementary school under the old Course of Study (announced in 2008). It was found that students in lower grades tended to work hard and enjoy themselves, and wanted to continue working on free research. In addition, there was no significant difference between grades in the classification of free research themes. Furthermore, based on the description of the children’s reflection, the authors analyzed and suggested how to approach the free research.departmental bulletin pape

Understanding the isolation of mothers in the context of sociocultural value system.
Full text link本論は，揖斐ら（2022）の孤立感を抱えた母親たちの事例研究に基づき，母親たちの孤立と，孤立を助長する対人関係力動を内包する「叫び」について，母親たちの孤立要因を社会文化的価値観から検討することを目的とした。母性信仰の日本的特徴を理解するために，社会学研究と日本の神話研究を概観し，強烈に社会に影響している，強く自己犠牲的な母親像を詳細に描き，母親と子どもの叫びを母親の養育力の欠如の結果と切り捨ててしまう非メンタライジングな社会環境への適応手段として母親たちが孤立していることを考察した。そして，今後も母親が抱えている葛藤を社会の複層性の文脈で整理していくことが必要だと結論付けられた。This study is based on the case study by Ibi et al (2022) of mothers experiencing isolation. It aims to examine mothers’ isolation and the “cry” that encompasses the interpersonal dynamics that contribute to their isolation, and to examine the factors that contribute to their isolation in the context of the sociocultural value system. In order to understand the Japanese characteristics of motherhood beliefs, sociological studies and Japanese mythological studies were reviewed to detail the image of strong, self-sacrificing mothers with intense social influence. Furthermore, the study examines the isolation of mothers as a means of adapting to a non-mentalizing social environment that dismisses the cries of mothers and children as the result of a lack of maternal nurturing power. Isolation was discussed. It was concluded that it is necessary to continue to organize the conflicts faced by mothers in the context of social pluralism.departmental bulletin pape
Usefulness of Panel Theater Teaching Method in “Writing” in Japanese class : Unite from the unite “Let’s make a story
Full text linkパネルシアターの有用性を探る研究として，「お話のさくしゃになろう（光村図書，こくご二下）」という教材を通して，パネルシアターを取り入れることが2年生の児童の「書くこと」へどのような影響があるのかについて考察した。考察にあたり（1）授業者のパネルシアターを取り入れた思いや意図から（2）授業での児童の作成したワークシートから（3）本授業後の児童の取り組みや活動を記録からの3つの視点で分析・考察した。その結果，（1）教科書にある絵を示してお話しづくりをさせるよりもパネルシアターで行うほうが，児童のイメージが湧きやすかった（2）絵のように全ての情報を視覚で一度に与えるのではなく，教師が１つずつ言葉とともに示したほうがお話しづくりの理解に繋がっていることが分かった。
しかし，パネルシアターの授業研究はまだ実践研究が少なく，今後も現場の教師とともに児童に効果のある教材の一つとしてパネルシアターの有用性について研究を重ねていきたい。This study examined how the introduction of the panel theater affects the “writing’” of second graders’ “writing” through the teaching method “Let’s make a story.” (1) Thoughts and intentions of incorporating the panel theater of the class, (2) worksheets created by the children in the class, and (3) efforts and activities of the children after the class were analyzed and considered from three perspectives. Thus, it was easier for the children to have an image in the panel theater rather than having them create a story by showing the pictures in the textbook. Moreover, showing each word with Panel theater leads to a better understanding of the story.
Only a few practical studies on panel theater lessons exist, and I would like to continue exploring panel theater’s usefulness as an effective teaching method for children, together with other teachers in the field.departmental bulletin pape
