    Pendampingan Program Konservasi Lingkungan melalui Tabung Biopori, Pupuk Organik, dan Daur Ulang Plastik di Desa Rangdumulya

    The community of Rangdumulya Village faces challenges in processing agricultural and household waste. Sustainable waste management can overcome these issues using biopore tubes, organic fertilizers, and plastic recycling. The purpose of this community service activity is to achieve zero waste in Rangdumulya Village in the form of a clean, healthy environment and a community that is independent in managing waste. The method used consisted of three stages: preparation, socialization, and training. The biopore tube activity on January 11, 2024, with 46 participants, increased knowledge by 39.13%, and eight out of nine groups successfully created biopores tubes. The activity of making liquid organic fertilizer on January 16, 2024, with 34 participants, increased knowledge by 33.33%, and four out of five groups successfully created liquid organic fertilizer. Plastic recycling activity on January 20, 2024, with 73 participants, increased knowledge by 34.22%, and 16 out of 18 groups successfully processed plastic recycling. This indicates that the people of Rangdumulya Village understood the activities that were taught. The Rangdumulya community has successfully carried out this environmental conservation activity independently through two monitoring sessions over two months post-activity.The community of Rangdumulya Village faces challenges in processing agricultural and household waste.     Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, is an example of successfully implementing rice planting using the Planting Index 400 (IP-400). This study aimed to analyze the difference in total farming costs between IP-400 and non-IP-400 rice varieties and their sustainability. Farmers in Sukoharjo have succeeded in planting rice three to four times a year in rice fields with technical irrigation. This activity was carried out in five stages, i.e. 1) a Discussion with the Head of the Sukoharjo Regency Agriculture and Fisheries Service, Central Java and his staf; 2) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the Head of the Sukoharjo Regency Agriculture and Fisheries Service, Heads of Farmer Groups and their members, Delegates from the Directorate General of Food Crops, Ministry of Agriculture, as well as related parties; 3) Field visits to rice seed entrepreneurs; 4) Field visits to "integrated farming" entrepreneurs who implement IP-400 rice cultivation; and 5) Field visits and interviews with farmers accompanied by extension workers and the Department of Agriculture as farmer advisors. Socialization and discussions have effectively increased stakeholders’ understanding of the implementation of IP-400 rice planting. This success is due to adequate technical support and infrastructure and close cooperation between farmers, local governments, and other related parties.     This community service activity was designed to address the economic challenges faced by fishermen in Sungsang II Village, Banyuasin II Regency, South Sumatra Province. Fishermen are often disrupted by weather conditions, such as the west monsoon or rainy season, which limit fishing activities and negatively impact their income. This program involved 48 fishermen and two partners, intending to increase the knowledge and creativity of the participants regarding alternative fisheries. The presentation covered aquaculture knowledge and the various organisms involved in it. In-depth explanations were also provided on silvofishery and aquaponics methods as alternatives to enhance income. Additionally, this activity highlighted potential local organisms that could serve as cultivation species. The program was carried out in several stages: preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The evaluation was conducted to assess the success of the dissemination based on participants’ enthusiasm and the increase in knowledge gained. The results indicated that the program successfully achieved its intended objectives, evidenced by the participants\u27 enthusiasm and a 45% increase in their understanding. However, the skepticism of some participants and limited capital for cultivation posed challenges to the dissemination process. The community\u27s interest in and understanding of the introduced cultivation methods form the basis for the future, particularly focusing on silvofishery and aquaponics techniques. Recommendations for applying these cultivation methods will be formulated as follow-up steps to ensure the sustainability and positive impact of this initiative.     Harapan Island Tourism Village is administratively located in the North Thousand Islands, Harapan Island Village, Jakarta City. The tourism potential of Pulau Harapan is conservation, preservation, and marine tourism. This tourist village is a favorite destination for tourists (leisure) and corporate market tourists. This is proven by the local guide’s experience in accompanying tourist visits. This is the focus of community service to develop the potential of b leisure tourism through Incentive Travel. The goal is to explore the potential of bleisure tourism to increase Incentive Travel tourist visits, which are in line with the city of Jakarta as a bleisure tourism center. This activity was held offline from March 16‒April 30, 2024 on Harapan Island using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Starting with five PAR cycles, including know, understand, plan, act, change, where each stage relied on community involvement in solving problem priorities. This was followed by a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) activity, where before (pre-test) and after the activity (post-test), participants measured their knowledge and abilities regarding the tourism potential of Incentive Travel, showing the achievement of good success of the activity.     Hubungan antara Konsumsi Ultra-Processed Food dengan Status Gizi: Studi Potong Lintang pada Mahasiswa Kesehatan Masyarakat UIN Jakarta: The Relationship between Ultra-Processed Food Consumption and Nutritional Status: A Cross-Sectional Study on Public Health Students at UIN Jakarta

    Prevalensi obesitas di Indonesia terus meningkat, termasuk di kalangan penduduk usia >18 tahun, dengan kenaikan sebesar 1,6% pada tahun 2023 dibandingkan 2018. Mahasiswa merupakan kelompok yang rentan mengalami masalah gizi akibat pola makan yang tidak sehat, termasuk konsumsi ultra-processed food (UPF). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsumsi UPF dengan status gizi mahasiswa Program Studi Kesehatan Masyarakat Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional yang dilakukan pada November-Desember 2024 dengan 120 subjek yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Variabel konsumsi UPF diukur menggunakan kuesioner food frequency questionnaire (FFQ), sedangkan variabel status gizi diukur berdasarkan skor indeks massa tubuh (IMT) yang dihitung dari tinggi dan berat badan subjek. Analisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Rata-rata frekuensi konsumsi UPF subjek adalah sebanyak 6 kali per hari, 53,2% subjek menyatakan bahwa akses terhadap UPF di lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka sangat mudah, dan 68,9% subjek membeli UPF dengan alasan praktis dan cepat disajikan. Uji korelasi Spearman menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi UPF tidak memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan status gizi mahasiswa (p-value=0,160; r= 0,129).The prevalence of obesity in Indonesia continues to increase, including among individuals aged >18 years, with a rise of 1.6% in 2023 compared to 2018. University students are a vulnerable group to nutritional problems due to unhealthy dietary patterns, including the consumption of ultra-processed food (UPF). This study aims to determine the relationship between UPF consumption and nutritional status among students of the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, in 2024. This research employs a cross-sectional study design conducted from November to December 2024, with 120 subjects selected using a simple random sampling technique. The UPF consumption variable was measured using a food frequency questionnaire (FFQ), while the nutritional status variable was assessed based on the body mass index (BMI) score calculated from the subjects\u27 height and weight. The analysis used Spearman\u27s correlation test. The average UPF consumption score among subjects was six times per day. A total of 53.2% of subjects stated that access to UPF in their residential area was very easy, and 68.9% of subjects purchased UPF due to its convenience and quick preparation. The Spearman correlation test showed that UPF consumption had no significant relationship with students\u27 nutritional status (p-value=0.160; r=-0.129).&nbsp

    Pendidikan karakter merupakan kunci utama dalam membangun generasi muda yang berkualitas untuk mencapai Indonesia Emas 2045. Meskipun upaya untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum sekolah sudah dirumuskan dan sudah mulai dijalankan, namun tantangan besar berupa keterbatasan sumber daya, waktu, dan pengelolaan teknologi yang belum optimal muncul sebagai hambatan. Sistem pendidikan karakter yang ada saat ini belum cukup efektif, karena kurangnya keseimbangan antara pembelajaran akademik dan karakter, serta masih minimnya pelatihan untuk guru terkait implementasi pendekatan pendidikan karakter yang relevan dan kontekstual. Sehingga, perlu adanya kebijakan yang berfokus pada pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih seimbang disertai peningkatan kapasitas guru dan pemanfaatan teknologi secara bijak. Selain itu, kolaborasi yang lebih kuat antara pihak sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat juga sangat penting untuk menciptakan ekosistem yang mendukung pendidikan karakter secara holistik.     Lingkungan satuan pendidikan merupakan bagian penting terbentuknya generasi penerus bangsa. Namunkondisi lingkungan satuan pendidikan kini sangat mengkhawatirkan akibat tingginya kasus kekerasan yangterjadi. Merespon hal tersebut, dalam upaya perlindungan anak, pemerintah melalui Permendikbudristek No.46 Tahun 2023 mengeluarkan salah satu kebjiakan baru untuk menegaskan pentingnya pencegahan danpenanganan kekerasan di lingkungan satuan pendidikan. Dengan masih seumur jagung implementasikebijakan ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam implementasinya, sehingga dibutuhkan strategi agarimplementasi kebijakan dapat memberikan perlindungan bagi anak di lingkungan satuan pendidikan. Faktorkunci dari kebutuhan, kendala, program dan koordinasi stakeholder harus diidentifikasi untuk Menyusunstrategi agar implementasi kebijakan dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Untuk itu kajian ini telah mengidentifikasifaktor kunci tersebut dari pendapat regulator, praktisi dan akademisi sehingga dapat menghasilkan strategiimplementasi kebijakan pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan di lingkungan satuan pendidikan

    Identification of Colisepticemia in Broiler Chicken in Tabanan, Bali

    Colisepticemia is a condition where Escherichia coli and its toxins have spread to tissues or organs that can cause organ damage or inflammation. Colisepticemia is a sign of acute colibacillosis in poultry which can result in death and in its subacute form is characterized by pericarditis, airsacculitis and perihepatitis. The incidence of colibacillosis in poultry can result in economic losses due to reduced production, increased medical costs, and even death. The aim of this study was to establish a diagnosis of the death of 15 days old broiler chicken. Based on the necropsy results, characteristic anatomical pathology was found in the form of fibrin membranes on the heart and liver, as well as lesions on other organs. Identification and isolation of bacteria in the laboratory using samples from the heart, liver and intestines showed positive results for Escherichia coli. Parasitological examination using feces did not reveal any parasitic agents involved in this case. Based on clinical symptoms, anatomical pathology examination, histopathology, culture and identification of bacteria, it can be concluded that the cause of chicken death was colisepticemia caused by Avian Pathogenic Escherichia Coli (APEC)

    Assessment of biodiversity risks in urban agriculture: Case of Jakarta, Indonesia

    Urban agriculture is a permanent and dynamic part of urban socio-economic and ecological systems. It uses typical urban resources, competes with other urban functions for land and water, is influenced by urban policies and plans, and contributes to urban social and economic development. To assess agricultural sustainability and predict future food security, it is essential to understand the relationship between farming systems and biodiversity. The research aimed to assess biodiversity risk in urban agriculture. This research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, and incorporated a field survey that involved collecting data from research and literature reviews. The field survey involved collecting data from research questionnaires distributed to respondents to determine their perceptions of biodiversity risks to flora and fauna resulting from urban agricultural activities. The results of the study showed that the p-value was greater than the alpha level (α = 0.05), indicating that urban agriculture in East Jakarta does not significantly affect biodiversity risks of flora and fauna.
