Formulasi MIkroorganisme dalam Perlakuan Talek dan Molase untuk Proses Biodrying Sampah Organik: Microorganism Formulation in Talcum and Molasses for Organic Waste Bio-drying Process
ABSTRAK
Biodrying merupakan teknik bioenergi yang memanfaatkan sampah untuk menghilangkan kadar air dan meningkatkan nilai kalor serta suhu sehingga berpotensi sebagai sumber energi terbarukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan formulasi konsorsium mikrob dengan talk dan molase untuk proses biodrying sampah organic, mengukur pengaruh bahan pembawa terhadap efektivitas biodrying, serta mencari waktu yang optimal untuk proses biodrying. Konsorsium mikrob yang digunakan adalah Bacillus thuringiensis SAHA 12.12, Lactobacillus plantarum IN05, Rhizobium sp. RIKG, Sacharomyces cerevisiae L1, Streptomyces sp. A4J, dan Trichoderma sp. T2J dari koleksi Laboratorium Mikrobiologi IPB. Penggunaan konsorsium mikrob dapat mempengaruhi hasil biodrying limbah organik yang diukur meliputi nilai kalor, kadar air, dan penurunan bobot. Formulasi dengan molase dapat meningkatkan efisiensi biodrying (0,57), meningkatkan nilai kalor (118%-129%), kadar air (56%), penurunan bobot (34,5%), rasio C/N (32), dan suhu yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan bahan pembawa lain. Formulasi dalam bentuk talek memiliki masa simpan yang lebih lama dibandingkan dengan molase. Oleh karena itu, formulasi dengan bahan pembawa molase berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi biodrying dan talek dapat meningkatkan viabilitas masa simpan konsorsium mikrob.

Evaluasi Keberlanjutan Program Pemanfaatan Pekarangan di Kota Batu
Program pemanfaatan pekarangan atau yang biasa disebut KRPL (Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari) atau P2L (Pekarangan Pangan Lestari) memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Kota Batu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keberlanjutan program ini dengan pendekatan multidimensional yang meliputi dimensi sosial, lingkungan, dan ekonomi. Penelitian menggunakan metode Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) melalui pendekatan Rapid Appraisal for Home Garden (RAP-HG) dengan data yang diperoleh dari penilaian responden terhadap atribut-atribut kunci di masing-masing dimensi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan software Microsoft Excel dan menghasilkan tiga output utama, yaitu analisis ordinasi indeks keberlanjutan, analisis leverage, dan analisis Monte Carlo untuk validasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi sosial memiliki indeks keberlanjutan tertinggi (63,06%), diikuti oleh dimensi lingkungan (59,94%) dan dimensi ekonomi (59,80%). Secara keseluruhan, tingkat keberlanjutan program termasuk kategori cukup berlanjut. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun program telah memberikan dampak positif pada keberlanjutan, tetapi peningkatan masih diperlukan untuk mencapai kategori tertinggi, yaitu sangat berlanjut. Strategi keberlanjutan yang diusulkan berdasarkan analisis Leverage mencakup peningkatan pemahaman cara bertani, penguatan dukungan masyarakat, pengendalian hama yang lebih berkelanjutan, dan peningkatan kuantitas panen. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengambil kebijakan dan pelaksana program dalam merancang intervensi yang lebih berkelanjutan untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan lokal
Design, Service Quality, Facilities, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Preferences at Shopping Malls
Background: Indonesia’s economic growth has transformed consumer behavior, driving demand for malls that serve not only as retail centers but also as hubs for leisure, dining, and social interaction. In Bali, this trend is intensified by the mix of local residents and tourists with diverse expectations. The growing number of malls and rising competition highlight the need to identify key attributes that shape customer satisfaction and preferences, as misalignment may reduce competitiveness in the tourism-driven market.Purpose: This study aims to examine how design, service quality, and facilities influence customer satisfaction and preferences in modern shopping malls in Bali, and to assess the mediating role of customer satisfaction in these relationships.Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative research approach was adopted to test the conceptual framework. Data were obtained from 218 respondents who had visited three major shopping malls in Bali, selected through purposive sampling to ensure familiarity with multiple mall environments. A structured online questionnaire was using a Semantic Differential Scale captured perceptions of five latent variables: design, service quality, facilities, customer satisfaction, and customer preferences. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0, enabling the assessment of direct, indirect, and mediating effects in line with the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) framework.Findings/Result: The results indicate that design and service quality significantly enhance customer satisfaction but do not directly influence customer preferences. Facilities emerge as the most influential factor, exerting a direct positive impact on preferences and an indirect effect through satisfaction. Customer satisfaction itself has a significant effect on preferences, underscoring its mediating role in linking mall attributes to behavioral intentions such as loyalty and revisit decisions.Conclusion: Customer satisfaction serves as a central bridge between mall attributes and customer preferences, underscoring the need for mall operators to invest in comprehensive facilities while maintaining high design standards and service quality to foster positive shopping experiences. In Bali’s tourism-driven retail sector, facilities that combine convenience, comfort, and leisure potential are pivotal to securing competitive advantage and encouraging repeat visits.Originality/value (State of the art): This research contributes to retail management literature by applying the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework to integrate design, service quality, and facilities into a unified behavioral model explaining both satisfaction and preference formation. By focusing on a tourism-driven market, this study offers practical insights for mall operators, investors, and policymakers aiming to enhance customer experiences and strengthen brand loyalty.

Ecological Index and Aboveground Biomass Carbon Value on Burn SwampForests After Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation efforts were conducted in 2018 and 2020 to restore, maintain, and enhance forest and land functions following the 2015 fire on forest area with special purpose (KHDTK) Tumbang Nusa, Central Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the characteristics of stand structure, quantitative ecological values, aboveground biomass values, and preliminary projections of rehabilitation plant valuation in post-fire peat forest ecosystems. Study area was conducted in two rehabilitation blocks in 5 and 7 years old after rehabilitation. Vegetation analysis employed a nested sampling method, utilizing a plot size of 60 x 60 m, with Block I contain three plots (27 subplots) and Block II containing eight plots (72 subplots). Vegetation inventory and four carbon pool measurements were carried out on the understorey, seedlings, saplings, poles, and trees. The stand density value in Block I is 379 stems ha–1 with a basal area of 21.18 m2 ha–1 , while in Block II it is 503 stems ha–1 and 11.27 m2 ha–1 . The stands have good ecological value and stable vegetation, with a medium-scale species diversity level (H\u27 = 1.53–2.80), a low-scale species dominance level (D = 0.10–0.42), commonly a high species richness value (R = 3.07–6.01), and medium to high species evenness values. The composition of rehabilitation plants are similar, but Block I has a higher proportional basal area of 3.72%. The projection of aboveground carbon biomass is 70.7 ton ha–1 and 77.7 ton ha–1 , respectively. As a preliminary study, the effectiveness of the rehabilitation valuation approach can be assessed by the productivity and quantitative ecology.
The Impact of Technology on Halal Certification Intentions of MSMEs: A Gender-Based Analysis
This study aims to identify the main determinants influencing MSMEs in applying for halal certification through digital media, using a combination of the DeLone & McLean and UTAUT models, with a comparison between male and female MSME owners. The PLS-SEM Multi-Group Analysis (MGA) approach was employed as the evaluation method in this quantitative study, using SmartPLS 3.0. A total of 300 respondents met the required criteria. The findings show that service quality is not a major determinant for the male group. On the other hand, for the female group, system quality does not significantly influence intention to apply halal certificate. Several other constructs, such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and information quality, show similar results across both groups, while facilitating condition does not have a significant impact on either male or female groups. These findings provide practical implications, particularly for policymakers. The government should improve performance, ease of use and information clarity for MSMEs. For male MSMEs, focus on system quality and customer support, while for female MSMEs, extension officer assistance would be more effective in encouraging halal certificate applications
Halal Food Purchasing Behavior of The Millennial Generation in Indonesia
Background: The Muslim millennial population plays an increasingly important role in the future development of the halal market. Therefore, understanding the consumer behavior of Indonesian Muslim millennials and the factors that influence their decisions when choosing halal products and services is essential.
Purpose: This study aims to explore Indonesian millennial consumers\u27 behavior toward halal food products by integrating the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) with additional variables of halal awareness and religious belief.
Method: This study employs quantitative methods. Data were collected through purposive sampling using online questionnaires distributed via Google Forms to 267 millennial respondents born between 1981 and 1996 in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).
Findings: Halal awareness does not affect purchase intention. In contrast, attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and religious beliefs significantly influence purchase intention. Additionally, purchase intention significantly influences purchase behavior, acting as a mediator between perceived behavioral control and religious beliefs.
Conclusions: These findings provide new insights into the factors influencing consumer purchasing behavior, particularly among millennials, and highlight the importance of psychological and social factors in halal product choice. The study is expected to contribute significantly to the development of marketing strategies in markets sensitive to religious issues.
Research implication: To increase millennials\u27 purchase intention toward halal food, managerial strategies should focus on quality, safety, product conformity with health and sustainability values, and the use of social influence through social media, influencers, and community campaigns. Additionally, strategies should facilitate access and purchasing, offer competitive prices, and ensure convenience in the purchasing process so that millennials feel in control of their decisions
Implementasi Blue Economy dalam Pengelolaan Hasil Laut di Desa Pasir Putih Kabupaten Konawe Kepulauan
The abundant fishery resources in Pasir Putih Village are not accompanied by appropriate and sustainable fish handling methods. This has resulted in economically valuable catches remaining unsold and being discarded. The goal of the community-based service activity is to enhance the sustainable use of fishery resources through the implementation of the blue economy. The activity involves stages of socialization, training, technology application, and support and evaluation. The results of The Community Empowerment activity conducted by the Pucuk Kolosua Women’s Group in Pasir Putih Village improved the participants\u27 knowledge and skills by 95% in sustainable fishery resource use through the application of the blue economy concept. To ensure the program’s sustainability, support from the Konawe Kepulauan local government through the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Small and Medium Enterprises is needed to provide supporting equipment, such as shrimp cracker drying facilities. Pemberdayaan Petani Kopi Desa Rowosari melalui Pengendalian Hama dan Peningkatan Kualitas Tanah dengan Pupuk Organik
Rowosari Village, Sumberjambe Subdistrict, is one of the fostered villages of the University of Jember, where the majority of the population works as coffee farmers. However, the farmers face significant challenges in coffee cultivation due to attacks by coffee berry borer (CBB) (Hypothenemus hampei), with an infestation intensity reaching 60-67%, and nutrient deficiencies caused by the high price of fertilizers. This community empowerment program aims to address these issues through environmentally friendly pest control and soil quality improvement approaches. The solutions implemented include the application of the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana formulation in the medium, which has been proven to reduce pest populations by up to 50%, and the use of solid organic fertilizer containing nitrogen (15%), phosphorus (0.8%), and potassium (12%). The results of this program show an increase in coffee production by 10.4% following the application of Beauveria bassiana and organic fertilizer. Farmers’ perceptions were also very positive, with a score of 4.5 out of 5 for ease of application and 4.2 for willingness to continue using the technology. Pemberdayaan Peternak Kambing Senduro melalui Integrated Farming di Kelompok Ternak Mekar Sari, Kecamatan Senduro, Lumajang
Senduro goat has been designated as a valuable genetic resource of Indonesia’s local livestock that must be protected and preserved. The Senduro goat, which thrives in Senduro Subdistrict, holds great potential as an economic driver for the village and therefore needs to be continuously developed and maintained. This community service program was carried out to address the issues faced by the partner farmers of the Mekar Sari Livestock Group through technology-based community empowerment. The main goal of this activity is to enhance community self-reliance and welfare through a Science Techno Park approach, which includes the application of technology in integrated farm development, improving farmers\u27 skills in ruminant feed management, processing manure waste into fertilizer, and conducting livestock business analysis, including business and financial planning. The activities were carried out in several stages, namely: communication and coordination with relevant parties, observation and partner site survey, workshops, field practice through demo plots, and evaluation and monitoring. The evaluation was conducted using pre-test, post-tests and questionnaires to assess the improvement in partner knowledge. The evaluation results showed that, in general, the partners found the activity very beneficial, engaging, and capable of increasing goat farmers’ knowledge about the integrated farm concept using a zero-waste approach. The partners\u27 understanding of feed processing, waste management, and business analysis significantly increased from 52 to 92%. This activity received a positive response from the Mekar Sari Goat Farmer Group in Senduro, Lumajang. Pembangunan Healing Garden Berbasis Kebun Hortikultura di Lanskap Pesantren Al-Muhajirin, Kiarapedes, Purwakarta
The Al-Muhajirin Foundation has an elderly Islamic boarding school located in Abun Bunyamin Mukhtar (ABM)Far m, Gardu Village, Kiarapedes District, Purwakarta Regency. The Islamic boarding school\u27s landscape has 4hectares of agricultural land planted with various horticultural crops, including fruit and vegetable crops.Besides elderly boarding school activities, ABM farm is also used as a venue for management meetings, outingclasses, English camps, tahfidz camps, Friday-Saturday camps, and training for students and administrators. Oneinnovation that can support academic and spiritual activities for users is implementing a healing garden. Thisactivity aims to share knowledge about healing garden and provide healing garden design suggestions of ABMfarm to administrators, students, and the community so that they can apply them in school gardens and theirrespective residential environments. The stages used in this activity are 1) Preparation; 2) Inventory; 3) Analysisand synthesis; 4) Concept development; 5) Design creation; 6) Implementation; and 7) Dissemination. Theresults of the healing garden development is a relaxation garden, a toga garden (family medicinal plants), andan edible garden, are effective in providing a space for discussion, murojaah, horticultural plant cultivation, andrecreation for students, teaching staff, administrators, and visitors. During the construction of garden anddissemination, the community was enthusiastic about planting aromatic plants, listening to the material, activelyasking questions, and answering the pre-test and post-test well. The post-test results showed that the lecturer\u27sreturn home activity increased the community\u27s knowledge about healing garden.
