Dampak konsumsi ikan columbia catfish dari kolam bekas peleburan aki bekas terhadap penyakit degeneratif dan keamanan pangannya: The impact of consuming driftwood catfish from a former used battery smelting pond on degenerative diseases and its food safety
Desa Cinangka merupakan sentra daur ulang aki bekas tradisional ilegal di Bogor, namun sudah ditutup 15 tahun lalu. Tujuan penelitian, yaitu menentukan dampak konsumsi ikan columbia catfish yang dipelihara di kolam bekas peleburan aki bekas terhadap potensi penyakit degeneratif kanker dan non-kanker serta keamanan pangannya. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah kandungan logam berat pada daging ikan dan logam terlarut pada air dengan XRF dan AAS, faktor biokonsentrasi, risiko kesehatan akibat konsumsi ikan (kanker dan non-kanker) serta keamanan pangannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ikan memiliki kemampuan untuk mengakumulasi logam berat pada tubuhnya. Daging ikan terkontaminasi Fe (537,53ppm), Cu (47,69ppm), Zn (942,53ppm), As (11,58ppm) dan Pb (13,07ppm). Air kolam tercemar oleh Fe, Zn, As dan Pb serta terkontaminasi Cu. Terjadi biokonsentrasi pada daging ikan, yakni Fe (658,33), Cu (4541,90), Zn (17357,83), As (9,94) dan Pb (142,53). Nilai Target Hazard Quotient (THQ) pada anak untuk semua logam berat >1, sedang pada dewasa yang mempunyai nilai THQ>1 adalah Zn, As, dan Pb. Nilai Hazard Index (HI)>1 pada anak dan dewasa sehingga konsumsi ikan berisiko memunculkan penyakit degeneratif non kanker. Konsumsi daging ikan berisiko memunculkan penyakit kanker, pada dewasa, yaitu rendah-sedang, sedangkan pada anak sedang-tinggi. Konsumsi harian ikan columbia catfish yang aman untuk anak 0,004 g/hari dan dewasa 0,015 g/hari. Batas konsumsi maksimum untuk anak 0,026 kg/minggu dan dewasa 0,091 kg/minggu. Anak-anak jauh lebih rentan dibanding dewasa.Cinangka Village, located in Bogor, was historically known as a site for illegal battery recycling. However, the activity ceased 15 years ago. The aim of this study was to determine the potential health impacts of consuming Columbia catfish raised in a pond contaminated by used battery smelting and its potential for causing cancer, non-cancer degenerative diseases, and affecting food safety. The study included testing for heavy metal content in the fish flesh and dissolved metals in the water using XRF and AAS techniques. It also calculated bioconcentration factors and assessed health risks associated with fish consumption, both for cancer and non-cancer conditions, in relation to food safety. The results indicated that the fish is capable of effectively accumulating heavy metals in its body. The flesh was found to be contaminated with Fe (537.53 ppm), Cu (47.69 ppm), Zn (942.53 ppm), As (11.58 ppm), and Pb (13.07 ppm). The pond water itself was contaminated with Fe, Zn, As, Pb, and Cu. Bioconcentration of these metals was observed in the flesh, with Fe (658.33), Cu (4541.90), Zn (17357.83), As (9.94), and Pb (142.53). The Target Hazard Quotient (THQ) > 1 value for all heavy metals in children, while for adults, the THQ > 1 only for Zn, As, and Pb. Both children and adults had a Hazard Index (HI) > 1, indicating that consuming these fish presents a risk of non-cancer degenerative diseases. Consuming fish poses a cancer risk, with the risk level being low to medium for adults and medium to high for children. The safe daily consumption of Columbia catfish for children is 0.004 grams per day, while for adults, it is 0.015 grams per day. The maximum safe consumption limit is 0.026 kg/week for children and 0.091 kg/week for adults. Children are notably more vulnerable to these risks than adults
Improving cassava growth and yield through auxin paste treatment on cuttings: A clonal comparison
Cassava is an important crop for carbohydrate production, primarily propagated through stem cuttings. Auxin has been proven for decades to be an effective material for increasing the rooting of cuttings. The combination of NAA and IBA is more effective than a single auxin and synergizes in promoting root growth. This study aimed to evaluate the growth and yield of cassava clones to different auxin concentrations of NAA+IBA mixture. The research used a randomized complete block design arranged in a factorial with 9 (3x3) treatments repeated 3 times. The first factor was the type of cassava clone, consisting of K1 = Garuda, K2 = Katsesart, and K3 = Roti, while the second factor was the concentration of NAA + IBA (1:1), namely A0 (0 ppm), A1 (1,000 ppm), and A2 (2,000 ppm). The results showed that clones responded differently to auxin concentration. Increasing the auxin concentration from 1,000 ppm to 2,000 ppm did not increase growth and yield, irrespective of clones. The application NAA + IBA (1:1) significantly increased fresh leaf weight, plant height, fresh stem weight, total number of roots, and number of storage roots as compared to the control at 8 months after planting (MAP). At 8 MAP, the Kasetsart clone produced higher growth and yield than Garuda and Roti clones, as indicated by the average plant height, total number of roots, and number of storage roots.

PHISHING AWARENESS AND SECURITY CONCERNS: ANALYZING THE ROLE OF ANTI-PHISHING KNOWLEDGE AND INTERNET EXPERIENCE IN ONLINE BANKING USERS: Kesadaran akan Phishing dan Masalah Keamanan: Menganalisis Peran Pengetahuan Anti-Phishing dan Pengalaman Internet pada Pengguna Perbankan Online
Phishing has become Indonesia\u27s most prevalent cybercrime from 2017 to 2022, primarily due to the collection of users\u27 personal information. The purpose of this study is to examine how security concerns are impacted by social engineering, internet experience, anti-phishing expertise, and phishing awareness. The Technology Threat Avoidance Theory (TTAT) model lends credence to this study. A quantitative methodology was employed, conducted through online surveys. To enrich the discussion, six of these respondents participated in in-depth interviews as a complementary approach. Data analysis was performed using LISREL 8.80 and SPSS 26. The findings demonstrated that internet experience and anti-phishing knowledge significantly increased phishing awareness. Furthermore, security concerns were significantly impacted by anti-phishing expertise. The results of further analysis revealed that social engineering had no significant effect on phishing awareness. In addition, Internet experience did not significantly affect security concerns. Based on the research results, user understanding can be enhanced by creating educational media that can be disseminated via social media
PERAN KESEPIAN DALAM MEMEDIASI MATTERING TO FAMILY DAN SELF-ESTEEM PADA DEWASA EMERGING ADULTHOOD DI INDONESIA: The Role of Loneliness in Mediating Mattering to Family and Self-Esteem in Emerging Adulthood in Indonesia
Masa emerging adulthood ditandai dengan eksplorasi identitas serta berbagai transisi kehidupan yang signifikan, di mana self-esteem berperan penting dalam mendukung kondisi mental dan emosional individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran kesepian sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara mattering to family dan self-esteem pada individu di masa perkembangan emerging adulthood di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif non-eksperimental dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 119 individu berusia 18–25 tahun yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tiga instrumen: The Mattering Index, UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3, dan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model mediasi menggunakan SPSS versi 22 dan Macro-PROCESS. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mattering to family memengaruhi self-esteem secara positif, dengan kesepian sepenuhnya memediasi hubungan ini. Skor mattering to family yang lebih tinggi dikaitkan dengan tingkat kesepian yang lebih rendah, yang selanjutnya memprediksi self-esteem yang lebih tinggi, demikian pula sebaliknya. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran keluarga dalam meningkatkan harga diri individu di masa emerging adulthood. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi berbasis keluarga untuk mengurangi kesepian dan meningkatkan self-esteem pada individu dalam tahap perkembangan ini
Viabilitas Benih Mindi (Melia Azedarach L.) Melalui Uji Daya Hantar Listrik
Penyimpanan benih dalam jangka waktu tertentu dapat memengaruhi viabilitas benih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh lama penyimpanan benih terhadap viabilitas benih mindi. Metode yang digunakan adalah uji daya hantar listrik atau electrical conductivity (EC) terhadap air rendaman benih yang telah disimpan selama 0, 2, 4, 6, dan 8 bulan. Pengukuran nilai konduktivitas listrik dilakukan menggunakan alat conductivity meter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lama penyimpanan memengaruhi nilai EC benih mindi. Nilai EC terendah adalah 15,63 µS/cm pada penyimpanan 0 bulan dan nilai EC tertinggi adalah 31,87 µS/cm pada penyimpanan 8 bulan. Lama penyimpanan memiliki korelasi positif terhadap nilai EC sebesar 0,75. Nilai EC yang tinggi menunjukkan banyaknya perembesan cairan sel yang keluar dari benih sehingga menurunkan kapasitas perkecambahan benihnya. Nilai EC memiliki korelasi negatif terhadap viabilitas benih. Secara umum, semakin lama benih disimpan, maka viabilitas benih semakin menurun
Perbandingan Dua Metode Perangkap Serangga Permukaan Tanah Di Hutan Penelitian Dramaga, Bogor, Jawa Barat
Fauna permukaan tanah merupakan jenis hewan yang seluruh atau sebagian hidupnya berada di tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas dua jenis perangkap yaitu yellow pan trap dan pitfall trap serta mengidentifikasi keanekaragaman fauna permukaan tanah pada ekosistem tepi danau dan tepi jalan di Hutan Penelitian Dramaga, Bogor, Jawa Barat. Hasil identifikasi fauna permukaan tanah diperoleh 25 ordo, 109 famili, 140 genus, 367 morfospesies, dan 10.319 individu. Hasil t-test didapatkan sebesar 0,012 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dengan diperolehnya jumlah individu pada metode yellow pan trap sebanyak 6.227 individu, sehingga menunjukkan metode yellow pan trap lebih efektif. Kelimpahan ekosistem tepi danau lebih tinggi dibandingkan ekosistem tepi jalan sebanyak 5.911 individu. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan bahwa, kelimpahan fauna permukaan tanah dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan seperti suhu udara, suhu tanah, dan pH tanah, sedangkan kelembapan udara tidak berpengaruh terhadap kelimpahan fauna permukaan tanah
DAILY OCCURRENCE OF WHALE SHARKS (Rhincodon typus) AND MIGRATION OF NEW INDIVIDUALS IN THE WATERS OF KWATISORE
The waters of Kwatisore are recognized as a consistent aggregation site for whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) throughout the year, with an increasing number of individuals observed. Understanding individual occurrence patterns is essential for monitoring population dynamics and conservation planning. This study aimed to analyze the daily occurrence of whale sharks based on individual identification and assess the entry of new individuals into the Kwatisore waters. Data collection was conducted from November 2023 to January 2024. A total of 27 male individuals were recorded, with a cumulative 592 sightings. Body lengths ranged from 2.5 to 5 meters, dominated by individuals approximately 3.5 meters in length. Spatial distribution of daily occurrences followed the positioning of anchored lift-net fishing gear (bagan), while temporal distribution showed a higher occurrence during morning hours. In 2023, 13 new individuals were recorded entering the area. The daily appearances were dominated by juvenile-sized individuals, and sighting frequency varied among individuals. Spatial and temporal patterns were strongly influenced by anchovy (Stolephorus spp.) catches from the bagan gear, while the entry of new individuals contributed to the growing aggregation of whale sharks in the Kwatisore waters.

Analysis of The Chemical Properties of Ultisol After Addition of Solid Compost and Coal Fly Ash
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of applying solid compost and coal fly ash on the improvement of Ultisol chemical properties and to determine the optimal dosage for its application. Ultisol, known for its high acidity, low organic matter content, and limited nutrient availability, requires specific amendments for optimization. The study was conducted using a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with 12 treatment combinations: four levels of solid compost (0 t.ha-1, 2,5 t.ha-1, 5 t.ha-1 dan 7,5 t.ha-1) and three levels of fly ash (0 t.ha-1, 3 t.ha-1 and 6 t.ha-1), each with three replications. The soil that has been treated is incubated for two weeks, then the chemical properties of the soil are analyzed. The results showed that the combination of solid compost and fly ash significantly improved Ultisol chemical properties, including increasing soil pH, reducing Al-dd levels, and enhancing P-available, organic carbon (organic C), total nitrogen (total N), cation exchange capacity (CEC), and total potassium (total K). The combination of 7,5 t.ha-1 solid compost and 6 t.ha-1 fly ash provided the best results, achieving a soil pH of 5.15, an increase available P to 23.7 ppm, and a high CEC level. This combination effectively improved Ultisol quality, making it more supportive for plant growth.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberian kompos solid dan fly ash batubara terhadap perbaikan sifat kimia Ultisol, serta menentukan dosis terbaik dalam aplikasinya. Tanah Ultisol yang dikenal bermasalah dengan keasaman tinggi, rendahnya bahan organik, dan ketersediaan unsur hara memerlukan pendekatan khusus untuk optimalisasi. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan 12 kombinasi perlakuan, yaitu empat taraf dosis kompos solid (0 t.ha-1, 2,5 t.ha-1, 5 t.ha-1 dan 7,5 t.ha-1) dan tiga taraf dosis fly ash (0 t.ha-1, 3 t.ha-1 dan 6 t.ha-1), masing-masing dengan tiga ulangan. Tanah yang telah di aplikasikan perlakuan di inkubasi selama dua minggu, lalu kemudian dianalisis sifat kimia tanahnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi kompos solid dan fly ash secara signifikan meningkatkan sifat kimia Ultisol, termasuk peningkatan pH tanah, penurunan nilai Al-dd, serta peningkatan kandungan P-tersedia, C-organik, N-total, kapasitas tukar kation (KTK), dan K-total. Kombinasi dosis 7,5 t.ha-1 kompos solid dan 6 t.ha-1 fly ash memberikan hasil terbaik, menghasilkan tanah dengan pH 5,15, peningkatan P-tersedia hingga 23,70 ppm, serta peningkatan KTK ke kategori tinggi. Penggunaan kombinasi ini terbukti efektif untuk memperbaiki kualitas Ultisol sehingga lebih mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman
Mapping of Soil pH and NPK Nutrients on Peat Agricultural Land in Kalampangan Village, Palangka Raya City
Kalampangan Village is one of the villages in Sebangau District, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan Province. Kalampangan Village has an area of 5000Ha with a population of 4000 people. The main livelihood of the population is farming. Farmers convert peatlands into agricultural land to grow food crops. The main challenge of farming on peatlands is the high acidity value of peat soil which causes low soil nutrient content and decreases soil fertility. Therefore, this study aims to map the distribution of nutrient content and acidity of peat agricultural soil in Kelampangan Village. Data measurement in agricultural land was carried out using the Soil Sensor 5 Pin Probe RS485 NPKPHCTH-HMI043 by inserting the sensor feet into the ground and the results will be displayed on the HMI touch screen. While the coordinate points of data collection use the Global Positioning System. The data measurements obtained were analyzed using the Geographic Information System (GIS) application to produce a thematic map of the distribution of soil pH and NPK nutrients. The results show that peat agricultural land in Kalampangan tends to be slightly acidic (pH 4.48-6.64) with majority low N (0-1.24 mg/kg), P (0-18.44 mg/kg), and K (0-14.61 mg/kg) content. The resulting thematic map can be used as a reference for farmers to process peat agricultural land to be more productive, for local governments in formulating agricultural policies, and contribute to the development of science in the field of soil science
