Evaluation and Development Strategy of The Minapolitan Area in Pasir Sakti Sub-District, Lampung Timur Regency
The minapolitan concept aimed to accelerate Indonesian rural development and reduce the inequality of development between urban-rural and urban disparity. One of the cultivation-based minapolitan areas in Indonesia is in Pasir Sakti Sub-District, East Lampung Regency with the Vaname shrimp commodity. The problems in this minapolitan area are including the inefficiency of pond farming management, restrained land for pond farmers so it difficult to obtain labor for the community, limited market information, unstable production quantities sometimes fail to fulfill market demand, and microfinancing institutions aren\u27t working properly. This research aims to evaluate the program and set the next development strategy in the Pasir Sakti Minapolitan Area. The research was undertaken through several questionnaire surveys of pond farmers and the experts, followed by discussions with some experts to analyze the factors that affect the development of this minapolitan area with Internal Factors Evaluation (IFE) and External Factors Evaluation (EFE) Analysis, and set development strategies using The Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis. This research results indicate that the minapolitan area program is 84.848% in synergy with existing regional policies, the environment evaluation of the minapolitan area is 85.82% feasible, the institutional support evaluation for minapolitan area is 75.42% feasible, and the IFE analysis results in a score of 2.63 and EFE results with a score of 3.03. These values exceed the average score of 2.5, which indicates that the internal condition of the region is not deteriorating and is ready to take advantage of opportunities and overcome threats. The strategic objectives for the development of the minapolitan area are to improve the quality and participation of stakeholders, increase supporting facilities, anticipate environmental damage planning and law enforcement, and improve cultivation systems
Business Model Design for Agrotourism in Pasir Eurih Village, Tamansari Sub-District, Bogor District
Background: The success of agrotourism development is primarily determined by locations with the potential of the natural environment, geographical location, types of agricultural products or commodities produced, and facilities and infrastructure that support tourism.Purpose: This research aims to formulate the design of the Pasir Eurih Village Agrotourism business model using the customer development method, which is focused on the customer discovery stage.Design/methodology/approach: Agrotourism development is located in Kampung Dukuh Menteng RT. 02/08, Pasir Eurih Village. Business model canvas (BMC) elements are formulated using the customer discovery method based on problem and solution testing results in the field.Findings/Result: Based on the solution test, the BMC elements produce customer segments of individual, family, and institutional tourists aged 5-50 years; value propositions of service convenience, complete facilities, and agricultural activity visit packages; direct and indirect channels; customer relationships of souvenirs, photo documentation, and friendly service; key partnerships of raw material suppliers, Traveloka, and restaurants; key activities of seeding to harvest, maintenance, production, marketing, and services; key resources of physical, intellectual, human, and financial resources; cost structures of fixed costs and variable costs; revenue streams of visit and rental package sales.Conclusion: The verification results of the business model canvas show that the product offered is suitable for the market. In addition, based on projected income, Pasir Eurih Village Agrotourism is feasible to implement.Originality/value (State of the art): This study is unique because it focuses on developing the tourism potential and strategic environmental conditions of Pasir Eurih Village for agrotourism.

Visitor Satisfaction at PAS TJ Grape Plantation Agrotourism in Singkawang
Background: PAS TJ Grape Plantation Agrotourism analyses visitor satisfaction to improve services and attract more visitors.Purpose: This research analyses visitor satisfaction levels at PAS TJ Grape Plantation Agrotourism in Singkawang. By utilising the 7A+1S framework (attraction, amenities, Ancillary services, activity, accessibility, available package, accommodation, and sustainability), this research evaluates the factors influencing visitor experiences. The findings are expected to provide recommendations for managers to enhance service quality and the attractiveness of agrotourism, thereby supporting sustainable agrotourism.Design/methodology/approach: This research employs a nonprobability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique on 40 respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analysed using descriptive statistical methods. Validity and reliability tests were conducted, along with the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), to assess visitor satisfaction and service performance.Findings/result: Based on the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), visitor satisfaction at PAS TJ Grape Plantation reached 81.22%, categorised as "very satisfied." While visitors generally have a positive experience, some aspects need improvement. The IPA results highlight the availability of a canteen, road conditions, and supporting infrastructure as key concerns, as they are essential but underperforming. Meanwhile, other attributes meet or exceed expectations. Addressing these gaps, particularly those in Quadrant I (high importance, low performance), is crucial for enhancing visitor satisfaction.Conclusion: Overall, the attributes of PAS TJ Grape Plantation agrotourism in Singkawang are very satisfying for visitors. However, improvements in facilities and infrastructure are needed to enhance visitor satisfaction and attract more visitors in the future.Originality/value (State of the art): This research contributes to developing a visitor satisfaction analysis methodology by applying the 7A+1S approach, which has not been widely used in agritourism. Focusing on PAS TJ Grape Plantation Agrotourism, this research is expected to serve as a reference for developing sustainable agritourism in other regions.

Strategic Business Development For Honey Bee Farming in KTH Sadar Tani Muda Forest Farmers Group
Background: The development of the honey bee business in the Forest Farmer Group (KTH) Sadar Tani Muda has great potential to improve farmer welfare and support environmental sustainability. However, challenges in business management, limited capital, and limited market access are the main obstacles to developing this business. Therefore, an appropriate strategy is needed to optimize the potential of the honey bee business so that it can develop sustainably and be competitive in the market.Purpose: This study aims to identify internal and external factors that play a role in the development of honey bee businesses at KTH Sadar Tani Muda, as well as to formulate strategies for developing honey bee businesses at KTH Sadar Tani Muda.Methodology: This study uses a descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The number of respondents was 9 people, consisting of 6 internal respondents and 3 external respondents. The analysis techniques used are SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis, Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS) matrix and External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS) matrix to measure internal and external factors that influence the development of honey bee businesses, and the QSPM matrix.Finding: This study found that the honey bee business in KTH Sadar Tani Muda has great potential in improving farmer welfare and supporting environmental sustainability. The main strength factors in the development of this business are the availability of supporting natural resources, high market demand for natural honey, and an organizational culture based on mutual cooperation and innovation. KTH Sadar Tani Muda has also implemented digital marketing and has a fairly extensive partnership network. This study also identified several major challenges faced, such as limited capital, low managerial skills of farmers, and limited market access. From the external side, great opportunities come from the trend of natural product consumption and government support for social forestry, while the main threats come from market competition with imported honey, fluctuations in honey prices, and climate change that can affect honeybee productivity.Conclusion: The development of honey bee business in KTH Sadar Tani Muda can be improved by implementing strategies based on internal advantages and utilizing external opportunities. Support from various parties, innovation in business management, and the use of digital marketing technology are key factors in increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of this business.Originality/Value (State of The Art): This study is the first study to use SWOT analysis and the IFAS-EFAS Matrix in formulating a honey bee business development strategy at KTH Sadar Tani Muda, with a focus on strengthening farmer capacity and optimizing digital-based marketing to increase product competitiveness in the market.

Differences in Perception of Sustainability and Purchase Intention of The Fashion Industry
Background: The fashion industry plays a crucial role in global GDP but faces significant environmental challenges, including CO2 emissions, microplastic pollution, and textile waste. Sustainability has emerged as a critical trend in addressing these issues.Purpose: This study investigates the differences in perceptions of sustainability and purchase intention in the fashion industry across genders and generations using a quantitative approach.Design/methodology/approach: Primary data were collected from 153 respondents from Generation Z and Millenials via a questionnaire, and hypotheses were tested through T-tests. The survey is distributed digitally via Google Form using the Likert scale method.Findings/Results: The results revealed significant gender differences in reactions to sustainability, with females exhibiting higher awareness and involvement. However, no significant differences were observed in purchase intention across genders or between Generation Z and Millennials. The findings suggest that while gender influences sustainability awareness, purchasing decisions are shaped by broader factors like education and societal norms.Conclusion: The study highlights that while gender significantly influences sustainability awareness in the fashion industry, purchase intentions remain consistent across genders and generations, shaped by broader social and educational factors.Originality/value (state of the art): By examining gender and generational differences in sustainability perceptions within the Indonesian fashion industry, this research provides unique insights into localized consumer behavior, challenging global assumptions and offering practical implications for inclusive marketing strategies.

Morphological and Molecular Characterization of Entomopathogenic Fungi Beauveria spp. Bengkulu Isolate
Beuveria is a genus of entomopathogenic fungi that plays an important role in controlling agricultural pests. Pest control with entomopathogenic fungi is an alternative to reduce influence the use of chemical insecticides. The diversity of entomopathogenic fungi intraspecies is by the genetic diversity of isolates, a high diversity of isolates can result diversity of fungus virulence. The purpose of this study was to perform the characterization molecular of entomopathogenic fungi Beauveria spp. Bengkulu isolate. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was performed for molecular identification Beauveria isolates were obtained from infected larvae in the field (1. Isolate from Coleoptera in Kepahiang, Bengkulu (BBC), 2. Isolate from Hemiptera: Pentatomidae in Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu (BBL), and 3. Isolate from Hemiptera: Alydidae in Taba Mulan, Merigi District, Kepahiang, Bengkulu (MT). The results of the amplification of the entomopathogen Beauveria samples produce DNA bands around ±580 bp. The DNA sequence analysis of ITS 5F and ITS 4R primers showed that the isolates BBC, MT and BBL have fairly high similarity with the Beauveria bassiana isolate 1397, Beauveria bassiana isolate SBI TNSPI, Beauveria bassiana strain B-Bug, Beauveria bassiana voucher TSJBB, Beauveria bassiana isolate SASRI C2, Beauveria bassiana isolate IMI 382764, Beauveria bassiana BCRC:FU31669, Beauveria bassiana isolate B098, Beauveria bassiana isolate INRS-CFL, Beauveria sp. JS-2009a isolate B4B, Beauveria bassiana isolate KACC with the homology of 99.83%, 99.83%, and 98.61%
Expression of the BAX Gene, CO1 Gene, and their Relationship to the Motility and Spermatozoa Concentration of Rats Treated with Moringa oleifera Leaf Extract
Spermatogenesis is the process of spermatozoa formation. An increase in free radicals, such as in hyperglycemia conditions, causes oxidative stress, which can interfere with spermatogenesis. Oxidative stress is an inequality condition between the body’s capacity to produce antioxidants and the rise of free radicals. Antioxidants such as flavonoids are contained in plants such as Moringa oleifera leaves. During spermatogenesis, an apoptosis process involves the BAX gene. BAX is a gene that functions as pro-apoptosis. There is also a CO1 gene in mitochondria, which plays a role in cellular metabolism. Gene expression examination assesses the comparative threshold cycle (CT) with RT-PCR, and spermatozoa quality examination includes assessing spermatozoa concentration and motility. This study used 30 male white Sprague Dawley rats as the test animals, which were divided into five treatment groups: treatment of moringa leaf extract dose 200 mg/kg BW, treatment dose 300 mg/kg BW, treatment dose 400 mg/kg BW, normal control group, and positive control group. The results showed a decrease in BAX gene expression and CO1 gene expression in the treatment group of test animals. The results of sperm analysis showed an increase in spermatozoa concentration in all treatment groups compared to the control group. For sperm motility in the 400 mg/KgBB dose treatment, an increase in sperm motility compared to the control group. This study concludes that administering moringa leaf extract reduced the expression of the Bax and CO1 genes. However, no significant changes were observed in sperm concentration and motility within the treatment group
The Influence of Hen Age on Hatching Egg Quality and Embryonic Development of Sentul Chickens
Sentul chicken is a local Indonesian chicken primarily raised for meat production. One crucial factor affecting egg quality and embryo development is hen age. This study aims to examine the influence of hen age on the external and internal quality of Sentul chicken hatching eggs, as well as the early development of the embryo. Eggs from 41-week-old and 78-week-old hens were compared across exterior and interior quality, nutrient composition, and embryonic development. Data analysis was performed using a descriptive method for hatching egg quality and a t-test for embryonic development. Results revealed that eggs from older hens (78 weeks) were significantly (P<0.05) heavier, had a higher egg shape index, and exhibited higher albumen and yolk indices, as well as a higher Haugh unit (HU). Nutrient analysis showed an increase in protein and fat content in older hens’ eggs, alongside a reduction in water content. However, embryonic development assessed by primitive streak and somite formation showed no significant differences (P>0.05) between the age groups. These findings highlight the positive influence of hen age on egg quality and embryonic development, potentially enhancing hatchability and chick development. Further research is, however, needed to observe long-term effects of hen age on embryo development and post-hatch performance
Exploring Polycarpa aurata Quoy and Gaimard, 1834 Extracts as Antibiotic Candidates: GC-MS Profiling and Molecular Docking Study
Marine natural products have garnered global interest due to their remarkable bioactive compounds. The tunicate P. aurata, a highly abundant marine invertebrate, possesses significant bioactive potential with applications as an anti-cancer, antibacterial, and antifungal agent. This study aims to evaluate the potential of P. aurata bioactive compounds as antibiotic candidates through in vitro testing and to explore their activity via an in-silico approach using molecular docking. P. aurata was extracted using maceration, yielding both methanol and n-hexane extracts. The methanol extract of P. aurata demonstrated greater efficacy than the n-hexane extract, particularly against Staphylococcus aureus with an inhibition zone diameter of 18.8 mm, compared to 13 mm for Salmonella typhi, both at a 25% concentration. In comparison, the positive control, ciprofloxacin, produced an inhibition zone ranging from 22 to 24 mm for both bacterial strains. GC-MS analysis of the extract revealed three compounds with high % area and similarity index values: Cyclohexane, 1,3,5-triphenyl, Cholesta-5,22-dien-3-ol, and Cholesta-3,5-diene, all of which were suitable for the selected protein target. Computational analysis through molecular docking demonstrated that these compounds exhibit stronger binding affinities compared to ciprofloxacin. This study suggests that the extract of P. aurata is a promising source of bioactive compounds with substantial therapeutic potential as an antibacterial and antibiotic candidate
Phycocyanin production from Galdieria sulphuraria 009 in palm oil mill effluent: growth, extraction, and antioxidant activity: Produksi fikosianin dari Galdieria sulphuraria 009 dalam limbah cair pabrik kelapa sawit: pertumbuhan, ekstraksi, dan aktivitas antioksidan
Limbah cair industri kelapa sawit (palm oil mill effluent atau POME) di Indonesia menghasilkan volume yang tinggi dan berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Mikroalga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengurangi limbah sekaligus menghasilkan produk biomassa yang bernilai tambah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan konsentrasi optimum POME bagi pertumbuhan mikroalga Galdieria sulphuraria 009, mengevaluasi produksi fikosianin, serta menilai aktivitas antioksidannya. Penelitian ini diawali dengan penapisan awal menggunakan 5–50% POME untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi pertumbuhan mikroalga yang optimum; budi daya dalam bioreaktor dengan variasi konsentrasi (2,5; 5,0; dan 7,5%) untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pertumbuhan; dan analisis aktivitas antioksidan serta kandungan pigmen dalam biomassa. Penapisan awal menunjukkan bahwa POME 5% merupakan konsentrasi optimal, sedangkan konsentrasi lebih tinggi menghambat pertumbuhan akibat berkurangnya penetrasi cahaya. Pada budidaya lanjutan, mikroalga dalam POME 2,5% menunjukkan hasil sebanding dengan kontrol (Allen pH 2), sedangkan konsentrasi lebih tinggi menghambat pertumbuhan akibat penaungan dan toksisitas amonia. Produksi fikosianin per volume kultur tertinggi diamati pada mikroalga yang dibudidayakan dalam POME 2,5%, dengan hasil yang sebanding dengan media kontrol. Uji aktivitas antioksidan mengonfirmasi bahwa semua ekstrak fikosianin memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang signifikan, dengan aktivitas tertinggi pada POME 7,5%. Kandungan karotenoid dan klorofil a dievaluasi dalam biomassa segar dan residu setelah ekstraksi. Karotenoid lebih melimpah dalam biomassa segar, sedangkan klorofil a lebih tinggi dalam residu biomassa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa G. sulphuraria 009 berpotensi sebagai sumber fikosianin yang layak dalam budidaya berbasis POME, serta memberikan wawasan mengenai pemanfaatan limbah industri dan pengembangan produk bioteknologi berkelanjutan.Palm oil mill effluent (POME), a major byproduct of the palm oil industry in Indonesia, is generated in large volumes and poses environmental risks due to its high organic content> Microalgae offer a promising approach to reduce this waste while simultaneously producing value-added biomass products. This study aimed to determine the optimal POME concentration for microalgal growth of G. sulphuraria 009, to evaluate phycocyanin yield, and to assess its antioxidant activity. This study was initiated with a preliminary screening using 5–50% POME to identify optimal microalgal growth conditions; cultivation in bioreactors with selected concentrations (2.5%, 5.0%, and 7.5%) to evaluate growth performance and chemical yields; and analysis of antioxidant activity and pigment content in both fresh and residual biomass. The preliminary stage revealed 5% POME as the upper threshold for growth, with 2.5% supporting optimal biomass comparable to control (Allen pH 2). Higher POME levels inhibited growth due to light attenuation and ammoniacal nitrogen toxicity. 2.5% POME recorded the highest phycocyanin yield per liter, while 7.5% POME yielded the highest antioxidant activity, likely due to oxidative stress. Antioxidant assays confirmed significant antioxidant activity in all phycocyanin extracts, with the highest activity in 7.5% POME, likely due to oxidative stress. Carotenoid and chlorophyll contents were evaluated in both fresh and residual biomass. Carotenoids were more abundant in fresh biomass, while chlorophyll -A was higher in residual biomass post-extraction, emphasizing the importance of extraction techniques in bioactive compound recovery. This study highlights G. sulphuraria 009 as a viable source of phycocyanin in POME-based cultivation, offering insights into industrial wastewater valorization and sustainable bioproducts
