Background: Internet users in Indonesia are increasing rapidly as information and communications technology (ICT) develops. Online shopping is growing in popularity, owing to the ease of access and transactions afforded by this technology. This study extends previous research by focusing on the influence of consumer experience on purchasing fashion products. Purpose: This study aimed to explain and analyze the influence of consumer experience in purchasing fashion products through online applications on customer satisfaction and its relationship with future purchase intentions. Method: This study employed a survey involving 282 fashion product consumers, followed by interviews with three supply chain practitioners to verify the quantitative findings and gain further insights. Quantitative data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), while qualitative data were analyzed based on the interviews. Findings: The results show that consumer experience significantly influences customer satisfaction, particularly regarding returnability. Customer satisfaction, in turn, improves future intentions to purchase fashion products through e-commerce. Conclusions: Consumer experience is pivotal for improving customer satisfaction and future purchase intentions in the Indonesian online fashion industry. Furthermore, practitioner perspectives offer profound insights into how operational practices and strategic decisions in e-commerce logistics contribute to customer satisfaction. Research implication: This study highlights the crucial role of consumer experience in shaping customer satisfaction and loyalty in Indonesia’s online fashion market. These findings suggest that e-commerce managers should prioritize seamless delivery, return policies, and the overall consumer experience to enhance customer retention and long-term loyalty

    Get PDF
Background: The dynamics of global politics can profoundly impact international trade. The Israel–Palestine conflict has sparked renewed interest, prompting global criticism of Israel\u27s human rights violations. The conflict has also sparked a boycott campaign in Indonesia. Purpose: This study examines the effects of motivations for boycotting, classified by trigger, promoters, and inhibitors, on boycott intentions and their impact on boycott behavior. Method: The study employs a quantitative research design and uses a purposive sample of 185 participants. Data were collected through a survey that distributed questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis employed descriptive statistics and Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Findings: The findings indicate a positive influence of subjective norms, self-enhancement, and perceived behavioral control on boycott intention. Counter-arguments demonstrate an adverse effect. Neither animosity nor brand image affects boycott intention. Firm boycott intention significantly impacts behavior. Conclusions: The study reveals that the primary factor affecting an individual’s intention to boycott is the ability to carry it out. Moreover, individuals who feel that boycotting can elevate their self-esteem are more inclined to participate. Research Implication: Companies should communicate more proactively. They should explain their stance on politics and issues without contradicting their values. Having clear ethics and empathy can help maintain consumer trust during boycotts.

The three priority issues faced by the Cikandang Agro Farmers Group are 1) the flow of nutrient solution is not smooth due to clogged nozzle holes and the insoluble nutrient solids; 2) the misting flow of the nutrient solution is uneven due to leaks at several points in the nutrient solution distribution pipes; and 3) not all root zones of the plants are reached by the nutrient spray due to the nutrient solution spray not being in the form of fog. The objectives of the activity are 1) to design and to construct a system device for preparing and atomizing nutrient solutions for the production of potato seeds in an aeroponics system; and 2) improve the performance of nutrient solution preparation and atomization system devices for potato seed production aeroponics system. The implementation of activities consists of program socialization, training/technical guidance, application of technology, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The substance of the activity consists of problem and need analysis, design and assembly, as well as operation and performance tests. Success indicators were observed through pre-test and post-test which included domains of the cognitive and psychomotor of participants in mastering the technology of preparation and atomization of nutrient solutions for the production of potato seeds in the aeroponics system. Based on the evaluation through pre-test and post-test, there was an increase in the cognitive domain by 80% and psychomotor domain by 70% of participants in mastering the technological aspects of preparation and atomization of nutrient solutions for the production of potato seeds of the aeroponics system. Technical improvements to the equipment of the nutrient solution preparation and fog system produce a smooth flow of nutrient solution, and the nutrient solution spray is no longer in the form of mist but in the form of a uniform fog and is able to reach the plant root zone. This study examines community perceptions and involvement in coral reef conservation in Awaiama Village, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea, through a social-ecological framework. Fieldwork in October 2024 integrated coral reef assessments with semi-structured interviews involving local stakeholders. Results indicate that coral reefs are important to livelihoods, food security, and cultural heritage. Despite this dependency, the reefs are increasingly threatened by overfishing, destructive fishing practices, and the impacts of climate change. The community exhibits limited ecological awareness and continues relying on unsustainable fishing methods. Although minor signs of reef recovery were recorded in some areas, community participation in formal conservation initiatives remains minimal. Traditional governance structures, such as clan meetings, play a more prominent role in local resource management. However, there is strong support for reef protection and recognition of the value in integrating traditional ecological knowledge with science-based management strategies. The findings highlight the need for co-management approaches tailored to local socio-economic contexts and emphasize education, sustainable practices, and collaborative governance to ensure long-term reef resilience

Marital satisfaction is the primary goal of a marriage and can be influenced by marital attachment and conflict management. This study aims to analyze the influence of marital attachment and family conflict management on marital satisfaction among middle-aged couples. Data were collected using purposive sampling, involving wives from intact families aged 40–59 years, with adolescent children or from empty nest families. The study was conducted in Lowokwaru Subdistrict, Malang City, involving 66 wives with an average age of 45.97 years. More than three-quarters of the wives from families with adolescent children and empty nest families reported having a secure attachment with their husbands. More than three-quarters of wives from families with adolescent children and more than half from empty nest families demonstrated a moderate level of conflict management. In terms of marital satisfaction, nearly half of the wives from families with adolescent children were categorized as having high satisfaction, while more than half of the wives from empty nest families were in the moderate category. Secure attachment and conflict management were found to have a significant positive relationship with marital satisfaction. Regression analysis showed that longer marital duration, being a family with adolescent children, and effective conflict management had a significant positive effect, while the husband’s age and the wife\u27s employment status had a significant negative effect on marital satisfaction. Younger husbands, longer marital duration, unemployed wives, effective conflict management, and being a family with adolescent children were associated with increased marital satisfaction. Middle-aged husbands and wives are encouraged to actively express care and affection toward each other. Future studies are expected to further examine marital attachment variables and include husbands as research subjects
