    Pengaruh Pakan Pelet Complete Feed Berbasis Indigofera terhadap  Hematologi Domba Garut Lepas Sapih: Effects of Indigofera-Based Pellet Complete Feed on The Hematological  of Post-Weaning Garut Sheep

    This study examined the effect of pellet diets containing varying levels of Indigofera on the hematological profile of post-weaning male Garut sheep. The study involved fifteen sheep (3-5 months old; body weight approximately 16.54±2.23 kg). The animals were divided into three dietary treatment groups differing in Indigofera and crude fiber content. The parameters observed in this study included the blood profile (erythrocytes, leukocytes, hemoglobin, and hematocrit) of the sheep before and after feeding the Indigofera-based complete feed pellets. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA in the form of a completely randomized design (RAK) with 3 treatments (P1 = 20% Indigofera with SK of 19%, P2 = 20% Indigofera with SK of 18%, P3 = 10% Indigofera with SK of 17% and 5 replication groups. Statistical analysis of the T-test was used to compare the data of blood profile values ​​before and after feeding. The results showed that the difference in Indigofera levels of 10-20% and crude fiber from 17-19% did not produce significant differences in hematological values ​​(erythrocytes, leukocytes, hemoglobin, and hematocrit) produced between treatments. Feeding Indigofera-based complete feed pellets provided physiological results that were still quite good.  It can be concluded that sheep hematology, namely the values ​​of erythrocytes, hemoglobin, and hematocrit produced, were in the normal range

    An Analysis of Operational Risk Management in The Catering Service Industry: A Case Study of PT XYZ

    Background: PT XYZ is a catering service company that serves industrial employees in Karawang. During its operation, the company encountered various potential risks that could disrupt its business processes.Purpose: This study aims to analyze operational risks, determine appropriate risk treatments, and formulate preventive measures to mitigate potential deviations in business processes based on the SNI ISO 31000:2018 risk management framework.Design/Methodology/Approach: This study applied Godfrey’s (1996) risk-assessment method and Flanagan and Norman’s (1993) risk-treatment method for data processing and analysis.Findings/Result: The study identified 20 types of operational risks, including six low-level risks, eight medium-level risks, five high-level risks, and one extreme-level risk. Risk treatment efforts were prioritized for those categorized as high or extreme.Conclusion: Risk treatment strategies involve transferring uncontrollable risks to third parties, establishing effective communication with stakeholders to support risk management initiatives, and integrating Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards to reduce the impact of each identified risk.     Building A Sustainable Business Ecosystem: Analyzing The Implementation of PaDi UMKM at PT XYZ Procurement Division

    Background: Procurement of goods and services is a crucial activity in supporting a company\u27s operational efficiency. At PT XYZ, the previously centralized process led to long lead times, bottlenecks in meeting business needs, and delayed vendor payments.Purpose: This study aims to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of decentralization policies and implementation of the PaDi UMKM platform in the procurement process. It also analyzes the impact of these changes on the roles, responsibilities, and risks within the procurement structure.Design/methodology/approach: This study used a mixed-methods approach. Value Stream Mapping compares lead times before and after decentralization, the RACI Matrix analyzes role changes, and FMEA identifies potential risks. Data were collected through observations, unstructured interviews, time motion studies, and internal document reviews.Findings/Result: Decentralization reduced procurement time by 61% and improved low-value purchase efficiency. The RACI Matrix revealed a shift in responsibility for the Business User. FMEA showed a risk reduction, lowering the RPN from 648 to 4. The use of PaDi UMKM also enhances vendor involvement and process flow.Conclusion: This study concludes that procurement decentralization, supported by digital platforms such as PaDi UMKM, effectively improves operational efficiency, clarifies organizational roles, and mitigates procurement risk. These findings offer practical insights for financial service companies seeking to optimize procurement strategies through structural and digital transformation.Originality/value (State of the art): This study offers both practical and theoretical contributions by evaluating the implementation of procurement decentralization in a financial services company.     Kementerian Pertanian Republik Indonesia berkolaborasi dengan PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo) telah membentuk program Asuransi Usaha Ternak Sapi/Kerbau (AUTS/K) sejak tahun 2016. Tujuan penyelenggaraan AUTS/K adalah memberikan perlindungan kepada usaha peternak jika terjadi kematian dan/atau kehilangan ternak. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Februari – Mei 2024 di Provinsi Lampung, Jawa Timur, dan Sulawesi Selatan sebagai perwakilan provinsi di seluruh Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  menganalisis besaran Willingness to Pay (WTP) terhadap kenaikan premi beserta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan  wawancara secara online kepada 67 peternak. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) dan Maximum Likelihood Estimator (MLE). Rataan kesanggupan peternak dalam membayar kenaikan premi  asuransi ternak senilai Rp106.250,00 per ekor per tahun. Adapun faktor yang memengaruhi WTP meliputi pendapatan, pendidikan, dan penilaian kepuasan peternak. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo) has established the Cattle / Buffalo Business Insurance (AUTS / K) program since 2016. The purpose of AUTS/K is to provide protection to farmers\u27 businesses in the event of death and/or loss of livestock. The research was conducted from February to May 2024 in Lampung, East Java, and South Sulawesi Provinces as representative provinces throughout Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the amount of Willingness to Pay (WTP) for the premium increase and its influencing factors. Data were collected through online interviews with 67 farmers. The analysis methods used include the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) and Maximum Likelihood Estimator (MLE). The average willingness of farmers to pay an increase in livestock insurance premiums was Rp106,250 per head per year.     The Influence of Social Support and Family Interaction on Marital Quality in Middle-Aged Families

    Middle-aged families represent a transitional stage in which the youngest child leaves the parental home and couples begin to enter retirement age. This stage often gives rise to emotional challenges, such as empty nest syndrome, which may affect marital quality. This study aimed to analyze the influence of social support and family interaction on marital quality among middle-aged families. A cross-sectional design was employed, involving 32 wives as respondents who were still living with their husbands while all children had already lived separately. The study was conducted in Gunung Batu Subdistrict, West Bogor District. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. The findings show that social support and family interaction were generally at moderate levels. Support from the nuclear family was high, whereas support from extended family and neighbors was low. Marital quality was mostly low, particularly in the happiness dimension, although satisfaction tended to be higher. Regression analysis showed that husband–wife interaction had a significant positive effect on marital quality, whereas parent–child interaction had a significant negative effect.     Kebutuhan daging ayam di Indonesia terus meningkat seiring pertumbuhan penduduk dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap konsumsi protein hewani. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini, pengembangan ayam lokal unggul seperti ayam IPB D3 menjadi solusi strategis. Ayam IPB D3 memiliki keunggulan dalam pertumbuhan bobot badan serta ketahanan terhadap penyakit dan stres, menjadikannya kandidat kuat sebagai galur lokal unggul nasional. Namun, sistem pemeliharaannya saat ini masih didominasi pola intensif, yang belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan kondisi peternakan rakyat di Indonesia yang umumnya mengombinasikan sistem intensif dan free-range. Ketidaksesuaian ini dapat berdampak pada performa dan kesehatan ayam secara umum. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengujian dan optimalisasi sistem pemeliharaan yang adaptif terhadap kondisi lapangan. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan performa dan ketahanan ayam IPB D3, sekaligus memperkuat peluangnya sebagai galur lokal unggul yang berdaya saing dan berkelanjutan dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional

    Budaya patriarki dalam keluarga Indonesia masih menempatkan ayah sebagai pencari nafkah, bukan sebagai pengasuh aktif, sehingga tanggung jawab pengasuhan lebih banyak dibebankan pada ibu. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya keterlibatan ayah dan berasosiasi dengan berbagai masalah perkembangan anak, termasuk kemandirian, disiplin, empati, serta regulasi diri. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan arah kebijakan yang mendorong perubahan nilai sosial dan struktural melalui peran pemerintah pusat dan daerah, komunitas, serta dunia kerja, dengan fokus pada edukasi publik, kampanye keterlibatan ayah, redefinisi maskulinitas dalam keluarga, dan kebijakan kerja ramah keluarga. Pendekatan lintas sektor ini diharapkan mampu memperkuat peran ayah dalam pengasuhan dan mendukung terwujudnya keluarga Indonesia yang berkualitas

    Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Penggilingan Padi Pusaka Abadi Garut

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha pada Penggilingan Beras Pusaka Abadi Garut yang mengalami penurunan pencapaian target penjualan, keterbatasan pasokan padi, serta gangguan produksi akibat gagal panen yang dipengaruhi kondisi cuaca. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap empat narasumber yang terdiri dari pemilik usaha, pengelola, dan narasumber eksternal yang memahami manajemen. Analisis kondisi internal dan eksternal usaha dilakukan menggunakan matriks Internal Factor Analysis (IFA) dan External Factor Analysis (EFA), yang selanjutnya dipetakan ke dalam Matriks Internal–Eksternal (IE) serta dianalisis menggunakan SWOT untuk menghasilkan alternatif strategi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai IFA sebesar 3,38 mencerminkan kondisi internal yang kuat, sedangkan nilai EFA sebesar 3,26 menunjukkan lingkungan eksternal yang relatif mendukung. Berdasarkan Matriks IE, usaha berada pada posisi Sel I dengan rekomendasi strategi Build and Growth. Alternatif strategi yang dihasilkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Hasil QSPM menunjukkan bahwa strategi SO1 (Mengembangkan usaha beras premium Sarinah khas Garut dengan meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan promosi, memanfaatkan mutu beras, fasilitas pengering berbahan bakar gas, serta peralatan produksi semi modern untuk mengikuti pertumbuhan pasar beras premium) memperoleh nilai Total Attractiveness Score tertinggi sebesar 7,05 sehingga ditetapkan sebagai strategi prioritas. Penerapan strategi ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kinerja usaha, memperkuat daya saing, dan mendorong pertumbuhan usaha secara berkelanjutan.  Permasalahan berupa menurunnya penjualan, terbatasnya pasokan padi, dan terganggunya produksi akibat cuaca menuntut Penggilingan Beras Pusaka Abadi Garut untuk menemukan solusi strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja, dan memperkuat daya saing usaha. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap empat narasumber.     POTENSI BEBERAPA JENIS BAMBU DI INDONESIA UNTUK BAHAN ENERGI BIOMASSA: The Potential of Several Bamboo in Indonesia for Biomass Energy

    Biomass is a renewable alternative energy source with abundant potential. The weakness of biomass as an energy material is its very diverse nature and lower calorific value compared to fossil-based energy. Pyrolysis is one of the energy conversion methods with the aim of increasing energy density with various forms of energy. This study aims to analyze seven bamboo species as energy materials with proximate analysis, and the pyrolysis was applied to increase their calorific value. Pyrolysis was carried out at a temperature of 350 °C for one hour and the characterization of bamboo and charcoal products was carried out with proximate analysis. The results showed that bamboo has the potential for biomass energy materials with an average calorific value of the seven bamboo species studied of 3941 kcal/kg (3869–4327 kcal/kg) with an average level of fixed carbon, volatile matter, and ash of 24.39%, 73.24%, and 2.37%, respectively. Pyrolysis increased the average calorific value by 70.34% from an average of 3941 kcal/kg of bamboo to an average of 6713 kcal/kg of their char. The increase in the calorific value of the char was mainly related to an increase in the average bound carbon content by 50.27% and a decrease in the average volatile matter content by 70.34%. Based on calorific value and ash conten; betung, gombong, and mayan bamboos meet the requirements as biomass energy materials according to SNI 8951:2020.Biomass is a renewable alternative energy source with abundant potential.     One of the conservation partnership areas in Mount Halimun Salak National Park (MHSNP) is the Cikaniki Sejahtera Forest Farmers Group (KTH), which does not yet have any forestry crops. The Forest and Land Rehabilitation Program (RHL) is carried out through an agroforestry system with support from Japan International Forestry Promotion and Cooperation Center (JIFPRO). This study aims to analyze the effect of NPK fertilizer and ecoenzyme on the growth of jengkol and jackfruit plants. The study was conducted using a factorial completely randomized design (CRD), namely NPK fertilizer doses (0; 2.5; and 5 g), ecoenzyme fertilizer concentration (0; 10; and 20 ml/L), and a combination of NPK fertilizer and ecoenzyme. The results showed that the use of 10 ml/L ecoenzyme fertilizer had a very significant effect on the height and stem diameter of jengkol plants.
