Indonesia has high biodiversity, making it the country with the second largest biodiversity in the world. To preserve this wealth, the government has established conservation areas, including the Gunung Halimun National Park in West Java, which is the largest tropical rainforest on the island of Java with unique flora and fauna. This research was carried out in the Citalahab River, part of the national park, to identify the fish species present. Sampling used a purposive sampling method, and fish species were identified based on data from gbif.org, fishbase.org, as well as the latest literature. The results of the research show that there are seven species of fish in the Cikaniki area, namely Puntius sp. (wader fish), Channa sp. (snakehead fish), Xiphophorus sp. (swordtail fish), Glyptothorax sp. (kekhel fish), Gambusia sp. (cere fish), Rasbora sp. (spray fish), and Monopterus sp. (field eel). Each species is described based on its morphological characters and habitat. These results emphasize the importance of conserving natural river habitats, because species diversity plays an important role in maintaining ecosystem stability and ecological balance.Indonesia has high biodiversity, making it the country with the second largest biodiversity in the world. Background: Job hopping is increasingly prevalent among Generation Z employees, particularly in business areas such as Jakarta. The impact of high employee turnover extends beyond individual organizations. potentially destabilizing industries and affecting economic growth. Therefore, understanding the factors influencing job hopping is crucial. Existing research often focuses on turnover intention. Few studies have explored the interplay between Perceived Organizational Support (POS).Purpose: This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) and job satisfaction on job-hopping behavior with organizational commitment as a mediating variable.Design/methodology/approach: The research adopted a quantitative approach through a survey questionnaire distributed to 208 respondents, who are Generation Z employees in Jakarta with at least one job-switching experience within a period of 1-2 years. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software.Findings/Result: The results indicate that POS and Job Satisfaction have a significant negative influence on job-hopping behavior. As a mediating variable. Organizational Commitment significantly affects the relationship between POS and Job Satisfaction on employees\u27 propensity to switch jobs. These findings have practical implications for organizations that aim to attract and retain Generation Z talent. The results suggest that companies need to strengthen organizational support structures, such as mentorship programs, open communication channels, and professional development opportunities, to create a more engaging and supportive work environment. Conclusions: Our findings have several practical implications. This suggests that companies need to strengthen organizational support and enhance employee job satisfaction to foster greater commitment. To strengthen organizational commitment, companies should develop programs that foster emotional, rational, and moral commitment (effective, continuous, and normative commitment). Strengthening these aspects will enhance the direct effects of organizational support and job satisfaction on reducing job-hopping tendencies. There was a high rate of job hopping among Generation Z employees. Originality/value (state of the art): This study aims to provide insights into Generation Z job-hopping behavior and strategic business implementation.

Understanding halal cosmetic purchase intention: A systematic literature review

    Get PDF
Halal cosmetic industry is widely recognized as a significant global beauty and personal care market segment. Alongside the rapid growth, understanding consumer purchase intention toward products has become a key focus of academic investigations. Therefore, this systematic literature review aims to identify the key determinants of purchase intention and uncover prevailing trends in the context of halal cosmetic. Using the PRISMA principles, a total of 15 relevant studies were collected from the Scopus database. The results showed that purchase intention towards halal cosmetic products was influenced by various key determinants reflecting the interaction between internal and external factors. The most mentioned variables across various studies include religiosity, halal awareness, attitudes towards products, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, as well as emotional and social values. In addition, external factors such as influencer impact, trust in halal logos, and digital marketing strategies also play a significant role in shaping purchase intention, both among Muslim and non-Muslim consumers. Based on the results, purchase intention towards halal cosmetic products cannot be explained in a single dimension, but rather from a complex dynamic between personal, psychological, social values, and exposure to marketing information. This literature not only identifies the main determinants of purchase intention for halal cosmetic products but also shows the evolving direction of investigation that is increasingly complex, interdisciplinary, and contextual, in line with the changing behaviors and expectations of modern Muslim consumers

Detection of Vgsc-L1014F Allele Knockdown-resistance Mutation in Male Culex quinquefasciatus

    Get PDF
The distribution of Culex quinquefasciatus as a vector for several tropical diseases in Indonesia could affect the transmission of various pathogens, including filariasis, West Nile, encephalitis, and Rift Valley fever. The use of insecticides to control mosquito populations is carried out massively. However, this effort is threatened by an increase in mosquito resistance to insecticides, in this case, pyrethroids that target Voltage-gated sodium channel (VGSC) as a complex protein in mosquito nerve cells that plays a role in the movement of sodium ions, where these compounds can have a knockdown effect and lead to death. The existence of a single nucleotide mutation in this specific codon results in knockdown resistance (kdr) in mosquitoes. This study aims to determine whether there is a kdr mutation in the Vgsc-L1014F target using the latest molecular method ETAS-PCR to type tri-allelic variation at Vgsc-1014 in Cx. quinquefasciatus samples collected in three areas in the cities of Surabaya and Sidoarjo, namely Wonocolo, Sukodono, and Wonoayu. The result showed ten male pool samples (C1-C10) of Cx. quinquefasciatus did not carry mutations or present as homozygous wild type (TTT/TTT), with a DNA band size of 181 bp. Hence, this preliminary study could be extended for further research to build vector control monitoring programs
