    Muffins are cup-shaped cakes that are generally consumed as a snack and generally have a high calorie content because of the raw materials used, but muffin can be used as a healthy alternative snack by replacing the main raw material used with oats and also reducing the use of sugar with natural sweeteners which comes from fruit such as bananas which have been made into puree so that they can produce a distinctive taste and aroma. The research method used was pure experimental with data analysis carried out descriptively. The sampling technique used is random sampling using organoleptic tests to see the level of panelists\u27 liking for the two formulas presented. The results of the analysis from organoleptic tests carried out by 30 panelists with an age range of 18-21 years with the highest percentage being is Formula 1 (F1) with results of >80% of the panelists liked the formula muffin oat with the addition of banana puree. From the analysis,muffin oat with the addition of banana puree was mostrly preferred by panelist and can be used as an alternative snack for teenagers who experience overweight nutritional status.   Key words: banana puree, muffin, oats, overweight teenss, snac

    Strategi Pengembangan Masyarakat Guna Mengoptimalisasi Potensi Agromaritim melalui Pembuatan Mineral Blok untuk Kambing di Desa Padaharja, Tegal

    Padaharja Village is one of the villages located in Kramat District, Tegal Regency with a strategic area location in developing agromaritime resources. One resource whose potential can be maximized is the livestock sector. Therefore, it is necessary to implement activities to support the results of the livestock sector so that they are maximized, one of which is mineral blocks. The aim of implementing mineral blocks for breeders, especially goats in Padaharja Village, is to maximize the mineral needs of goat livestock which often escape the attention of goat breeders. Activities are carried out offline with an approach in the form of socialization and demonstrating how to make mineral blocks. The results of this activity show a significant increase in farmers\u27 understanding and skills regarding the use of mineral blocks. The impact of this activity is quite positive, with livestock farmers increasing their understanding of the importance of mineral nutrition for their livestock. The use of mineral blocks as a feed supplement has begun to be implemented by several breeders, and they report improvements in livestock health and productivity.     Peningkatan Kapasitas Masyarakat melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Bioenzim dan Mikroorganisme Lokal di Desa Karangjaya, Cianjur

    Karangjaya Village, located in Pasirkuda District, Cianjur Regency, has significant potential in the field of sustainable agriculture, particularly in avocado and coffee commodities. The village has a cool climate, high rainfall, and fertile soil, making it ideal for developing high-quality agricultural products. The community service program implemented in Karangjaya Village focuses on environmentally friendly innovations by producing bioenzymes and local microorganisms (MOL). This training aims to provide knowledge and practical skills to the Forest Farmers Group in the village, consisting of 40 participants, to support farming efficiency while maintaining soil ecosystem balance. The implementation of the training follows four main stages: socialization, training, practice, and evaluation. Participants are taught how to utilize organic materials, such as fruit and vegetable waste, and other local materials to produce bioenzymes and MOL through a simple fermentation process. Evaluation results show a significant increase in participants\u27 understanding. Pre-test and post-test results indicate an average improvement of 62-85%, particularly in the material related to the production and benefits of bioenzymes as organic fertilizers. This program has proven effective in enhancing farmers\u27 capacity to adopt environmentally friendly technology. However, further assistance is needed to deepen technical understanding related to the use of bioenzymes and the application of MOL. This program shows that bioenzyme and MOL innovations have great potential to support sustainable agriculture in Karangjaya Village, increase crop yields, reduce organic waste, and strengthen the community\u27s welfare.     Identification of lactic acid bacteria in captive primate species at Bukittinggi Zoo, West Sumatera

    Background Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) provide health benefits, particularly in their role as probiotics and anti-microbials for treating digestive diseases in primates. Objective This study aimed to identify and quantify the total colony count of lactic acid bacteria in the feces of five primate species: Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii), brown-ungko gibbon (Hylobates agilis), black-handed gibbon (Hylobates agilis), siamang (Symphalagus syndactylus), and langur (Trachypithecus auratus), collected from the Bukittinggi Zoo. Methods The samples were serially diluted from 10⁻¹ to 10⁻⁷ and inoculated into de Man Rogosa Sharpe Agar (MRSA) selective media using the pour plate method. LAB colonies growing on the medium were obser-ved and counted. Selected colonies were isolated and subsequently identified using several biochemical tests, including catalase, oxidase, sulphide indole motility (SIM), methyl red-Voges Proskauer (MR-VP), and carbohydrate fermentation tests. Results Orangutans’ samples had the highest total LAB count 3.1 × 10⁸ CFU/ml. In this study, we successfully isolated bacteria from the genera Lactobacillus (orangutan, brown ungko gibbon, black-handed gibbon, and siamang), Leuconostoc (black-handed gibbon and siamang), and Weissella (langur). Conclusion Three genera of lactic acid bacteria were identified in primate feces from Bukittinggi Zoo, and further research is needed to determine their potential application as probiotics

    Mangoes Center merupakan sub-program Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan (TJSL) PT KPI Unit VI yang berfokus dalam pembudidayaan tanaman lokal dan telah dijalankan sejak tahun 2017. Pada tahun 2024, program ini menjadi tahun terakhir didanai biaya operasional budidaya, sehingga tahun berikutnya program akan dikelola secara mandiri oleh kelompok tani tanpa bantuan dana dari perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kelayakan usahatani budidaya mangga agrimania bagi kelompok tani WTC. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis biaya dan manfaat dengan kriteria kelayakan investasi (NPV, Net B/C, IRR, dan PP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani budidaya mangga agrimania yang dilakukan Kelompok Tani WTC layak dilakukan berdasarkan aspek-aspek nonfinansial usahatani dan kriteria investasi di mana Net Present Value (NPV) 2.385.926.838>0, Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C) 6,69>1, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 28,42%>6%, Payback Period (PP) 4 tahun 6 bulan 18 hari. Mangoes Center is a sub-program of TJSL PT KPI Unit VI, focusing on cultivating local plants and operating since 2017. In 2024, this program will reach its final year of funding for operational costs, after which it will be managed independently by the farmers’ group without financial assistance from the company. The objective of this study is to analyze the feasibility of agrimania mango cultivation for the WTC farmers’ group. The methods used in this research include cost-benefit analysis with investment feasibility criteria (NPV, Net B/C, IRR, and PP). The results indicate that agrimania mango cultivation by the WTC farmers’ group is feasible based on both non-financial aspects of the farming operation and investment criteria, with a Net Present Value (NPV) of 2,385,926,838 (> 0), a Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C) of 6.69 (> 1), an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 28.42% (> 6%), and a Payback Period (PP) of 4 years, 6 months, and 18 days

    Asupan Energi, Kebiasaan Olahraga dan Status Gizi pada Remaja di Inderalaya: Energy Intake, Exercise Habits, and Nutritional Status among Adolescent in Inderalaya

    Tahap pertumbuhan remaja merupakan suatu fase dalam kehidupan manusia yang perlu perhatian serius. Hal ini dikarenakan masa remaja banyak terjadi perubahan, mulai dari fisik, sosial dan emosional. Asupan energi yang cukup dan kebiasaan olahraga yang rutin menjadi kunci perubahan yang baik. Namun hal tersebut sering luput dari perhatian remaja. Inderalaya merupakan sebuah kecamatan yang terletak tidak jauh dari ibukota provinsi. Pengaruh modernisasi membuat remaja yang tinggal di wilayah tersebut ikut merasakan dampaknya, baik dari segi pola makan maupun aktivitas fisk. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara asupan energi, kebiasaan olahraga dengan status gizi pada remaja di Inderalaya. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan disain cross-sectional. Jumlah subjek yang terlibat sebanyak 110 orang. Lokasi penelitian berada di SMP Negeri 1 Inderalaya. Data yang sudah terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan software statistik SPSS vers.25 dan dianalisis dengan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia subjek berada pada rentang 12 hingga 15 tahun. Subjek dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki (51,8%) terpilih sedikit lebih banyak dibandingkan subjek dengan jenis kelamin perempuan (48,2%). Asupan energi subjek sebagian besar termasuk defisit, sedangkan kebiasaan olahraga subjek termasuk kurang aktif. Status gizi subjek meskipun didominasi oleh status gizi normal (51,8%), namun proporsi gizi lebih juga memiliki persentase yang cukup tinggi (45,5%). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara asupan energi, kebiasaan olahraga dengan status gizi (p>0,05). Perlunya melibatkan variabel lain di masa mendatang untuk melihat determinan status gizi pada remaja. Saran penelitian ini, meskipun tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan, subjek tetap perlu meluangkan waktu melakukan olahraga dan mengkonsumsi makanan bergizi agar terhindar dari defisiensi zat gizi.The adolescent growth stage is a phase in human life that requires serious attention. This is because there are many changes during adolescence, starting from physical, social and emotional. Sufficient energy intake and regular exercise habits are the keys to good change. However, this is often overlooked by adolescents. Inderalaya is a sub-district located not far from the provincial capital. The influence of modernization has made adolescents living in the area feel the impact, both in terms of diet and physical activity. This study aims to determine the relationship between energy intake, exercise habits and nutritional status in adolescents in Inderalaya. This study is descriptive analytical with a cross-sectional design. The number of subjects involved was 110 people. The location of the study was at SMP Negeri 1 Inderalaya. The data that had been collected was processed using SPSS statistical software vers.25 and analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed that the age of the subjects was in the range of 12 to 15 years. Subjects with male gender (51.8%) were selected slightly more than subjects with female gender (48.2%). The subjects\u27 energy intake was mostly deficit, while the subjects\u27 exercise habits were less active. Although the subjects\u27 nutritional status was dominated by normal nutritional status (51.8%), the proportion of overnutrition also had a fairly high percentage (45.5%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship between energy intake, exercise habits and nutritional status (p>0.05). It is necessary to involve other variables in the future to see the determinants of nutritional status in adolescents. The suggestion of this study, although no significant relationship was found, subjects still need to take the time to exercise and consume nutritious food to avoid nutritional deficiencies

    Dalam meningkatkan pembelian terencana dan menurunkan perilaku impulsive buying dan post-purchase regret, peran pemerintah sangat diperlukan Yayasan Lembaga Konsumen Indonesia (YLKI) dapat mengkampanyekan praktik belanja cerdas melalui berbagai saluran media, seperti Instagram, TikTok, dan Youtube. Penggunaan media sosial diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif yang dapat diakses dengan cepat oleh konsumen dan hal ini juga berkaitan dengan tingginya jumlah pengguna internet di Indonesia. Selain itu, Yayasan Lembaga Konsumen Indonesia (YLKI) dapat menyediakan informasi kepada konsumen terkait hak-hak dan kewajiban konsumen dalam belanja yang sudah tersedia dalam Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen No. 8 Tahun 1999. Selanjutnya, Badan Penyelesaian Sengketa Konsumen (BPSK) dapat mengedukasi masyarakat agar menjadi konsumen yang cerdas dan penguatan edukasi konsumen yang berkelanjutan tentang perencanaan belanja, identifikasi kebutuhan vs keinginan dan hak-hak konsumen. BPSK juga dapat menyediakan mekanisme pengaduan jika terjadi masalah dalam berbelanja secara online di e-commerce

    Penanganan Kasus Pyometra Pada Kucing Betina dengan Metode Ovariohysterectomy di Petologi Veterinary Center

    Pyometra merupakan infeksi serius pada uterus yang sering dialami oleh kucing betina yang tidak disterilisasi. Penyebab utama penyakit ini adalah pengaruh hormon progesteron dan infeksi bakteri. Diagnosis ditegakkan melalui pemeriksaan fisik, hematologi, dan ultrasonografi. Pemeriksaan ultrasonografi pada kasus ini menunjukkan adanya penebalan dinding uterus serta akumulasi cairan pus di lumen uterus. Penanganan pada seekor kucing domestic betina berusia 10 bulan di Petologi Veterinary Center dilakukan melalui prosedur ovariohysterectomy. Tahap awal melibatkan persiapan pre-operasi, termasuk pemberian anestesi propofol, pemasangan endotracheal tube, dan sterilisasi area insisi. Selama operasi, uterus dan ovarium yang terinfeksi diangkat, diikuti dengan ligasi pembuluh darah menggunakan benang monofilament untuk mencegah perdarahan. Pasca operasi, pasien menerima perawatan intensif berupa pengobatan antibiotik (amoxiclav) untuk mengendalikan infeksi, analgesik (meloxicam dan tramadol) untuk mengurangi rasa sakit, serta perawatan luka secara berkala. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan pemulihan yang baik tanpa komplikasi, mengonfirmasi bahwa ovariohysterectomy adalah metode yang efektif untuk menangani pyometra dan mencegah kekambuhan. Edukasi kepada pemilik hewan mengenai pentingnya sterilisasi dan kebersihan lingkungan sangat diperlukan untuk mengurangi risiko penyakit ini di masa depan. Studi ini memperkuat pentingnya kombinasi prosedur bedah dan terapi suportif dalam keberhasilan penyembuhan penyakit pyometra pada kucing

    Desain dan Analisis Algoritma Kuantifikasi pada Pengembangan Deteksi Otomatis Telur Strongyle untuk Diagnosis Helminthiasis

    Infeksi cacing nematoda parasit sering menyebabkan kerugian bagi peternak karena sifatnya laten dan berjalan kronis. Beberapa kerugian ditimbulkan diantaranya adalah ternak mengalami gastroenteritis, anemia hingga kematian. Salah satu jenis infeksi paling umum adalah dari nematoda strongyle. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metode cepat dan akurat dalam identifikasi dan kuantifikasi jumlah telur cacing tipe strongyle dengan algoritma YOLO. Melalui sistem tersebut diharapkan dapat menghemat waktu dalam mengidentifikasi, menghitung jumlah telur strongyle, dan meminimalisir kesalahan perhitungan sehingga diagnosis strongylidosis lebih efisien dilakukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pengambilan gambar telur strongyle hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium yang digunakan sebagai data set training. Data tersebut kemudian digunakan sebagai database training ke algoritma YOLO. Pengembangan algoritma dilakukan bersama  PT. Voxeu Digital Kreatif sebagai mitra penelitian. Uji identifikasi menggunakan 233 gambar sampel dengan hasil analisis mendapatkan nilai precision 98,23%, recall 90,19% dan mAP50 96,32%. Uji kuantifikasi menggunakan 800 gambar yang berasal dari 16 sampel kemudian dibagi menjadi 2 data kelompok. Kelompok 1 mempunyai nilai akurasi 36,67% dan RMSE 5,35. Kelompok 2 mempunyai nilai akurasi 67,05% dan RMSE 2,37. Algoritma YOLO dapat digunakan untuk identifikasi dan kuantifikasi telur tipe strongyle secara otomatis sehingga nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh laboran atau dokter hewan dalam membantu mendiagnosis helminthiasis

The mandatory Halal certification in Indonesia presents both challenges and opportunities for international businesses. Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) facilitate trade by enabling the acceptance of Halal certifications issued by recognized foreign bodies. While MRAs offer Indonesian businesses access to global markets, they also pose challenges such as increased competition from imported Halal products. This study explores the potential impacts of MRAs on the Indonesian Halal agri-food sector, analyzing the challenges and opportunities for local businesses. Key considerations include strengthening Halal standards, supporting SMEs through tailored financing schemes and government incentives, and ensuring the quality and authenticity of imported Halal products. The study emphasizes the need for a comprehensive strategy that balances market access with the protection of domestic producers while leveraging Indonesia\u27s competitive advantages in the global Halal market
