    Get PDF
In this research we have been developed an automatic investigation to classify normal children voice or autistic by using modern computation technology that is computation based on artificial neural network. The superiority of this computation technology is its capability on processing and saving data. In this research, digital voice features are gotten from the coefficient of linier predictive coding with autocorrelation method and have been transformed in frequency domain using fast fourier transform, which used as input of artificial neural network in backpropagation method so that will make the difference between normal children and autistic automatically. The result of backpropagation method shows that successful classification capability for normal children voice experiment data is 100% whereas, for autistic children voice experiment data is 100%. The success rate using backpropagation classification system for the entire test data is 100%.

an important issue in today's development is sustainable agriculture. Sustainable agriculture is a process that utilizes agricultural resources optimally to meet the needs and welfare of the present without compromising the needs and welfare of future generations. Along with the pace of conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural land, agricultural resources that need to be given priority are agricultural land, especially agricultural land. Agricultural sector is not a sector seed in the East Kutai Regency since 2006 until today, many things that can cause this, which is the conversion of agricultural land that continues to happen, it will threaten food security in a sustainable manner. There are three sub-districts in East Kutai district are included in the Kutai National Park South Sangata area, North Sangata and Teluk Pandan . National Policy on Control of Land specified in order to reduce the conversion of agricultural land as set out in the 2010-2014 RPJMN included in the priorities of food security with the core substance of the Land , Regional Development and Spatial Planning Agriculture with the regulatory arrangements to ensure legal certainty for the agricultural lands , development of new agricultural area of 2 million hectares, controlling and optimizing the use of abandoned land.

Many industrial sectors on the world are structured as a series as the production stages. Row material come from the beginning of the first step and enter into the process which various kind of processes like bath and continue where limited in the time as the constrain of the flow of the process to transfer to be products in to the next step, in the process they usually use conceptual logic or separately equipment to separate the eligible product and send second product to transfer to another equipment to be additional process where it should be make the added value for the second product. This modelling do the conceptual logic in production line system and analyse the factor of time between arrival raw material in the warehouse then directly process to the process unit then send it again to to the next process as well. The result of this study are decreased sharply in the beginning of the initial times for variables like number of waiting or queue, total process time, utilization and total entity time but increased the idle cost. This KPI are the indicators from the process for the triangular probability most likely value in the process.

Based on Socialization Theory, the present research proposes model of mentoring function and government internal auditors performance. This research aims to analyze and to investigate influence mentoring function on government internal auditors performance with quality of supervisor- auditor relationship as a mediator. This research was a survey on 41 government internal auditors in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), Indonesia. The questionnaire used had passed through successfully the validity and reliability tests. The hypothesis testing was done using regression analysis, before which the classical assumption test was done and it was stated as passing successfully. The result of analysis showed that quality of supervisor-auditor relationship played a mediating role between mentoring function and government internal auditors performance. The paper includes implications for developing effective mentoring programs for government internal auditors performance.

Styrofoam is a polysterine material that frequently used in Indonesia. Both in the food industries, electronic, or other industries. Yet according to Wibowo (2009) styrofoam is a material that is harmful to the environment, and health. Styrofoam waste is plastic waste which is difficult to be decomposed by environment. Need more than 500 years to decompose styrofoam. Whereas, Indonesia produces more than 500 million waste styrofoam every day. In the other hand, Java is island that is largest producer of rice in Indonesia. Each year, Indonesia produced 35 million tons of rice. 22% of rice production are rice husks. approximately 7 million tons of rice husk produced per year. Notice from the actual amount, rice husk is very potential to developed. And rice husk can be environmentally friendly styrofoam. This is evidenced by the value of the conductivity of a mixture of rice husk boards and resin have similary styrofoam’s conductivity values. EcoFoam, environmentally friendly styrofoam that fermented from rice husk, an adaptation from technology of making soybean cake (tempe) and ecocradle. This adaptation is based on the ability of tempe’s fungus hyphae (Rhizopus sp). The fungus hyphae can bind each component of soybean into one piece during the fermentation process. This program is as the adaptation from technology in making environmentally friendly styrofoam ecocradle made from agricultural waste in Europe by using fungal hyphae.Basidiomycota.

The Performance of Microfinance Institution (A Study on Rural Banks in Indonesia)

The purpose of this paper is to overview the rural banks in Indonesia in three dimensions: institutional, operational and performance. Rural bank is one of microfinance institution in Indonesia which categorized as a bank-type. The performance of rural bank is important because, with the two missions, profit- oriented as well as for social welfare, MFI should keep its sustainability by maintaining both financial and non-financial performance. During the last 5 years (2008-2012) the performance of rural banks in terms of institutional, operational and financial ratio is good. However, the source of third-party funds in the form of saving should be improved. Furthermore, the portion of credit for the business interests should bigger than the others. By adapting socio-cultural system approach will reduce the microfinance’s risk.

Oxidative stress is one of the well-recognized cause of many degenerative diseases. The antioxidant activities of many medicinal plants have been evaluated to obtain the alternative medicines for the prevention of oxidative damages. Jatropha curcas L. is a widely used plant. It has been used to treat many diseases. However, the antioxidant activity of its n-hexane extract has not been reported. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the in-vitro antioxidant activity of n-hexane extract of J. curcas L. leaf using DPPH free radical scavenging activity assay, reducing power activity assay and lipid peroxidation inhibition assay. The antioxidant activity of the extract was compared with trolox as reference standard. n-hexane extract of J. curcas L. leaf was found to be more capable in inhibiting lipid peroxidation process (IC50=56.629 μg/ml±2.145) than to scavenge DPPH· free radical (IC50=300.834 μg/ml±4.571). Data from reducing power activity assay indicated that this extract possessed higher reductive potential in inducing the Fe3+ ! Fe2+ transformation compared with control (P<0.05). In conclusion, the n-hexane extract of J. curcas L. leaf possessed antioxidant activity.
