Factors Affecting the farmers to still practicing SRI in Malang Regency, Indonesia
The objectives of this research is to study the role and function of the SRI project, socioeconomic characteristics and factors affecting the farmers status (still practicing SRI or Non SRI). Descriptive statistics such as mean, frequency, and percentage were used to analysis the socioeconomic characteristics, and agricultural production system of the farmers, and independence tests Chi-Square statistic to analyze the relationship among socioeconomic or other factors that are independent variables and the farmers status that is a dependent variable. The results revealed that there are three roles and functions of the SRI project. First, increasing rice yield, means that practice of SRI on rice farming is able to enhance productivity compared with the conventional method. Second, input saving, minimizing input used, such as water, seeds and others. Third, environment sustainability, practicing this method will help to recover soil fertility, and maintain the sustainability of field production. Concerning the socio-economic characteristics of farmers were male, at an average age of 49 years. Most of the SRI farmers finished secondary school, while nearly half of the Non SRI (N-SRI) farmers finished elementary school. There were also members of an agricultural group. The relationship among socioeconomic or other factors and farmers status revealed that age, size of rice field, labor, single or double seedling, soil organic fertilizer, farmer practices and drought had a significant relationship (P=0.000-0.050) with farmer status (SRI or N-SRI farmers). Meanwhile, the marital status, the level of formal education, main occupation, second occupation, and land holding had no significant relationship with the farmer status.
Unconfined Compressive Strength of Clay Subgrade Using Cement and Carbide Waste
Cement is commonly used for soil stabilization and many other ground improvement techniques. The use in combination with carbide waste is needed to be investigated to obtain an optimum mixture design. The compressive and split tensile strength tests were carried out in this present study. The quantities of cement was replaced various with carbide waste from 0% to 100%. The investigation results show that cement was superior material to enhance the compressive strength of clay. In contrast, carbide waste alone cannot improve significantly the clay soil. Replacing the cement content with carbide waste decreases the compressive strength.
Green Ethanol as Innovative Solution of Utilization of Coffee Pulp Waste in the Sidomulyo Village, Jember County
One of the coffee production centers in Jember County is the Sidomulyo village. The coffee acreage is 309.87 acres and the resulting amount of coffee production reached 150 tons / year. At this moment the coffee pulp waste generated from processing is used as cattle feed and compost. Solid coffee pulp coffee has not been used optimally, generally stacked around the processing site for several months, causing odors and pollution in the environment. Indonesia government made regulation no. 5 In 2006 on the development of alternative energy sources other than oil and coal from biofuel to meet energy needs and to cope the rising of world oil prices. Green ethanol is an innovative product of bioethanol with raw materials in the modification of the coffee pulp waste. Advantages green ethanol compared to bioethanol is generally environmentally friendly, more efficient use of raw materials, renewable and able to reduce the pollution of agricultural waste. Green ethanol is an alcohol made from the fermentation of the organic with the help of microorganisms. Green ethanol has high oxygen content so it can burn more completely and has a higher octane rating than gasoline. To implement the use of coffee pulp waste as raw of Green ethanol production is needed a continuity and good cooperation between related parties such as local government (Ministry of Agriculture), stakeholders (SOEs), farmer groups, and Environment activists.
KJKS BMT Creative Economy: A Proposed Model of Islamic Cooperation for Agrotourism Development Based on Community
Located in a strategic geographical position, Indonesia has natural beauty and biodiversity which varied, such as mountains, oceans, beautiful beaches, endemics animals and plants such as komodo, cendrawasih, and spices. Most of Indonesia's natural characterize in agriculture. Meanwhile, tourism is an industry that does not require big investment in the long run before giving return. It means that Indonesia has a huge potential to develop agrotourism which is part of the creative economy and community based, as one of the biggest contributors to the economic development of the country. However, Indonesia still hampered by a variety of factors including the institutional factor. The most appropriate institution which is considered to develop community based agrotourism is Islamic Financial Service Cooperation Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (KJKS BMT). By collecting a variety of creative economy industry in the form of farmers, craftsmen, transportation, hotels, culinary, and performing arts are a part of a agrotourism community, KJKS BMT can help these industries in managing their business. This paper use a qualitative approach through literature study. Therefore, agrotourism is expected to be a strong sector in the economy, provide employment, contribute significantly to the nominal GDP, reduce unemployment, and give welfare for the citizens in the future.

Design and Implementation Intelligent Behavior of Non Playable Character on Hajj Simulation
Along with the rapid development of technology, education in Indonesia has begun to develop a method of learning-based technology. Hajj learning can be made as alternative media learning using simulation-based virtual environment. Of course, to strengthen the simulation non playable character (NPC) for the Hajj congregation are necessary to give more effect to the real user who is running the simulation of hajj. NPC in the simulation must have intelligent behavior that have adapted to the needs of the system. Design NPC behavior using a method designed finite state machine (FSM) where the behavior was modeled in some limited states.
An Insight into NGO Challenges and the Need for Organisational Capacity Building for Malaysian NGOs
This exploratory research was aimed to examine the need for Organisational Capacity Building for Malaysian Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs). Six Representatives from six different Malaysian registered NGOs across categories and sizes were involved in the study through a judgmental sampling. These representatives were selected by the researcher from a database secured by a former researcher who conducted a research on NGOs. All participants were involved in In-depth interviews. Responses were analysed through Personal Analysis and Rank Order Data Analysis to answer the research objectives. The findings of this current research indicated that Malaysian NGOs were not of any exception from the global phenomenon of reduction of funds. However, most of the NGOs in this research were able to manage the reduction of funds issue by leveraging on untapped sources of revenues. Besides the issue of reduction of funds, NGOs in Malaysia were also having issues on governance and management. However, all the NGOs believed that Organisational Capacity Building intended to help them be more professional, is able to help them address the issues of management and governance within their organisation. Leadership Skills, Proactive Attitude and Strategic Thinking Skills were the three aspects which are sought after for individual development, whilst Strong Leadership, Clear Organisation Structure and Human Resource Management were the three aspects needed to be implemented in NGOs.

The practitioners need to continue and extend the Family Psycho-Education (FPE) program based on the Balinese culture. Thus, the patients with schizophrenia will be better accepted to live together in their family and community.
Genetic Variability, Heritability and High Yield in Chilli (Capsicum annuum L.)
Study lasted from June until November 2011, at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Leuwikopo, Dramaga. This study used a randomized complete block design (RCBD), one factor consisting of 20 genotypes of chilli that comes from the collection of IPB (C2, C5, C105, C111, C117, C118, C120, C160, C51, F5110005-91-13-5, F5110005-91-13-12, C157, C159, F5120005-5- 11-1, F8002005-2-9-12-1, C140, C19, C18, C143, C145) with three replications. Data were analyzed using the test F and test Duncan New’s Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at level 5%. Result showed that the genetic variability and heritabilty of the 20 genotypes of chilli in quantitative and qualitative differences to each other.Genotypic coeffecients of variation (GCV) at intervals between 4.48&-37.33%. The heritability value at intervals 42.05%-91.80%. Almost all of the observed variables have a high heritability value, except leaf length and first day to floweringwhich is only on intermediate criteria. For weight per fruit, C143 reveal significant value than other genotype and yield per plant C5 reveal significant value than the others. It indicate that C143 and C5 can be selected as Hybrid chilli plant. The genotypes tested in this study had a high level of variability that could potentially be used as a parent for crosses.
