Environmentally Friendly Material: Coconut Husk Ash and Fly Ash as Supplementary Cementitous Material
Concrete is the main material in the construction industry. Concrete is consisted of binder and filler. The main concrete binder is cement paste. The cement industry nowadays is not environmentally friendly because of the burning of cement raw materials require energy up to 1450°C. On the other hand, cement compound content which can be utilized as the environmentally and friendly subtitution is Silica (SiO2) and material with pozzolan character. The resulting product is a calcium silicate hydrate (CSH). This study used coconut husk ash and fly ash as a pozzolan material. In order to confirm the coconut husk ash and fly ash can be used as a pozzolan material, study used compressive strength method test on the cement paste hydration ages of 3 and 7 days. Results of this study suggested that the optimum composition of coconut fiber composite waste and fly ash managed to substitute 30% by weight of cement with the composition: 25% coconut husk ash and 5% fly ash.
Polymorphism of FPN1 Gene Promoter -1355 G/C as A Risk Factor of Iron Deficiency Anemia in Pregnant Women in Indonesia
According to WHO, the prevalence of anemia in pregnancy in Indonesia is 44.3%, it is higher than the worldwide prevalence (41.8%). Iron deficiency is a leading cause of anemia during pregnancy. Ferroportin (FPN1) is an iron exporter protein which is responsible on absorbing and releasing iron in order to reproduce new erythocytes. The variant of FPN1-1355 G/C in promoter region enhances overexpression of ferroportin and iron export, which are causing elevated cellular iron needs and thus leading to overexpression of soluble transferrin receptor (sTfR) while decreasing hemoglobin (Hb) level and erythrocyte indices. As the manifestation, iron deficiency anemia (IDA) occurs. This research was a case and control study aimed to analyze the frequency of FPN1-1355 G/C polymorphism as a risk factor of IDA in pregnant women in Indonesia. Blood samples were taken from 26 pregnant women with anemia and 48 without anemia. FPN1-1355 G/C polymorphism were determined by PCR-RFLP method while sTfR and ferritin level were measured by ELISA. Hemoglobin, erythocyte indices, and sTfR level were compared among genotype group, then analyzed by independent t-test and one way ANOVA. Pearson test was conducted to analyze correlation between level of hemoglobin and ferritin in pregnant women (p0.05). The sTfR level in subject carrying C allele was higher than subjects carrying only G allele (p<0.05). As a conclusion, FPN1 gene promoter -1355 G/C polymorphism was not a risk factor for anemia, but it was a risk factor for IDA in pregnant women.
Village-level Advocacy to Revitalize Family Planning in a Decentralized Indonesia
While Indonesia was once hailed as a Family Planning success story, progress has stalled over the past decade. IDHS 2012 showed the Modern Contraceptive Prevalence Rate is stable at 58%, the method mix is highly skewed towards short-acting contraceptive methods, despite their higher rates of discontinuation and the desire for longer-acting methods to limit births. Unmet need persists at 11.4%. One explanation for this halted progress is decentralization, which began in Indonesia in the early 2000s. In general, decentralization has caused a decrease in institutional support for FP programs at the district and village levels. The number of FP field officers has also decreased significantly. However, in 2012, the Indonesian House of Representatives passed the ―Village Law No. 6/2014‖ to ensure that the central government transfers development funds directly to villages in order to fulfill basic needs. In light of this law, it is important to conduct advocacy at the village level to ensure that some of these village funds are used for reinvigorating FP programs. In January 2015, Yayasan Cipta Cara Padu (YCCP) collaborated with 7 Districts Working Groups (Karanganyar, Lumajang, Tuban, Kediri, East Lombok, West Lombok and Sumbawa) began conducting advocacy among village policymakers with the goal of allocating village funds to support FP and revitalizing ―FP village team‖. This activity was conducted as part of Advance Family Planning (AFP) and Improving Contraceptive Method Mix Project (ICMM). This program shows that, in the era of decentralization, advocacy among village-level policymakers allocate village budget for community mobilization on FP, increase availability and quality of FP services. It also shows that, regulations and dedicated funding to local working groups such as these can improve local buy-in and sustainability.
Educational Game Tools to Improve 3-4 Years Old Children Development (Pre Screening Study at Al-muhajirin Play Group Semarang)
Educational game is the form of educational activity performed using educational methods or tools. The optimum and maximum aspect of child development can be posed through playing activity. Allowing children to play in the pre-school age has been proven to increase the child‘s development. This study is aimed to assess the 4 indicators of children development including rough motoric, soft motoric, personal social and language. This study employed a quasi- experimental design and applied non-randomized with control group and pre-test post-test design. Forty (40) children aged 3-4 years involved in this study were divided to control and experimental group. Twenty children in experimental group obtained educational game tools for 14 days, 2 hours per day, whilst the twenty children in control group have no experience to educational game tool stimulation. Children aged 3-4 years either in experimental or in group control involved in this study were highlighted with high score for rough and soft motoric development, and personal social. The result suggested that the children were not using their language ability (score: 0 – 0.05) to be involved socially to their friends (1.65 – 2.00). We also recognized among forty children aged 3-4 years old the soft motoric (score: 1.80 – 2.00) was higher than the rough motoric (score: 1.50 – 1.60). We acknowledge that the educational game tools supported positively to the four indicators which used to score the children development. Compared to the control group, without experienced to educational game tools, educational game tools contributed significantly to the rough motoric, personal social, and language (p value < 0.001). Educational game tools which allowed a child to communicate with their friends directly and be exposed to physical activity with their friends will greatly improve in their early development.

the Effect of Sex Preference to the Desire to Have Another Children in Indonesia
Previous studies found that sex preference influenced fertility preference and family size, particularly in patrilineal culture. Although Indonesia is patriarchal society, the sex preference is rarely discussed among the researcher. Therefore, this study aims to explore the pattern of sex preference in Indonesia and its effect to the desire for additional children by controlling with desire particular sex of children, sex composition of children, demographic characteristics and social- economic factors. This study employed a secondary data of Indonesia Demographic Health Survey 2012. The sample size was 4,885 15-49 years women respondent who already had at least two children and none of them were infecund or sterilized. Univariate and Multivariate analyses were carried out. It was found that more than 79% of Indonesian women had no sex preference for their children. However, sex preference still existed, especially among women and their husbands that preferred sons over daughters. The multivariate analysis show that sex preference had effect on desire to have another children. Women with son preference were 1.9 times more likely to have another child than those who had no sex preference. The variable desire particular sex of children, sex composition of living children, wealth status and region help to explain that ideal number family size in more important and more effected women to have another child. The results suggest that son preference, ideal family size and complete family formation in women who has two children or more is more important and driven them to have another child. Majority of Indonesian women found to be have no preference toward their child but son preference proved still exist. Thus, policy to encourage two children is enough and improve the quality of children through education in Indonesia is needed.

Expert System for Measuring the Sugar-content in Sugarcane Using Forward Chaining Method
The development of the sugar industry has the potential and promising prospects for the price and the national sugar requirement is very high. However, the relationship between the sugarcane farmers with the sugar factory does not have a positive correlation yet. It was due to the lack of farmers' trust toward the sugar factory's yield arrangement which is done through difficult calculations to understand by them. To facilitate the farmers to know the sugar-content in sugar cane, then a system that can measure the levels of sugar-content in the sugarcane is made. This system adapts the way of an expert's thought in measuring the periodical yield sugarcane. This system is designed to help farmers to determine the yield of sugarcane with a more transparent calculation process. This system was developed with a forward chaining inference method. By using this system, farmers are expected to be able to determine the levels of sugar-content in their sugarcane with more accurate and transparent via the internet.
