Pregnant women primigravida experience fear, anxiety, and fear before delivery. Worries and anxieties of pregnant women if not handled properly will have an impact and influence on the physical and psychic, both the mother and fetus. In this study, we proposed a method named SEFT (Spiritual Therapy Emotional Freedom Technique) to reduce the stress and depress among the primigravida in giving birth. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group. Fifteen trimester primigravida with a gestational age of 28 to 35 weeks in three private midwifery practice Mandiri (BPM) in the Banyumanik and Tembalang district were involved by consecutive sampling technique both in experimental and control group. SEFT therapy, a knock technique on the nine meridian points including a point at the top of the head, was provided to the respondents in the experimental group for 14 days (two weeks) every night. From the data, we highlight a significant increasing level of cortisol levels among the primigravida who enter the last stage of pregrnancy from 269.29 ± 14.75 nmol/L to 334.39 ± 19.81 nmol/L. The stress and anxiety before delivery elevate the IgE levels from 206.17 ± 55.4 IU/mL to 220.33 ± 56.23 IU/mL. By the result we revealed a significant contribution of SEFT therapy to reduce the levels of cortisol (p value < 0.001) and IgE (p value < 0.01). The data indicated the primigravida who obtained SEFT are more relaxed to face the delivery. The results recommend SEFT as the alternative solution for the primigravida who stress and depress facing delivery.

Mining activity has been a huge contributor of human environmental disaster mostly in one decades in earth. The consequences of technology approach and natural resources to complete people daily need showed the implication about the effect of mining area which contacting to human directly that would be created unbalance system among mining and human life which the source problem was Acid Mine Drainage (AMD). AMD has been the ultimate cases in mining production in the world that effects to environmental pollution and prior catalyst caused the flawed of production target in number of mining companies. Green Mine Optimization Strategy was developed sustainable system to protect water contaminant existence who will be occurred in the source of mining excavation area. South Block Area Lamin Site PT. Mega Alam Sejahtera has been conducted by number of scenario methods were Vadoze zone coal water contaminant, Run off water encapsulation, Water Monitoring Point management which all methods used MINESCAPE 4.119 to support sustainable water contaminant of management modeling system so that could be described the pattern of water management scenario from pre mining, mining and mining closure in simultaneous water indications from inlet flow forming until outlet flow forming by optimum condition. Therefore, as fundamentally resulted it would be got the best AMD protection formula for entire of coal mining project in the world to resolve a discourse among mining and human life so that both of cases will be running together.

According to the 2007 Indonesian Health Research Association, the prevalence of spinal trauma reaches 7.5 percent of the total population. The high number of patients with compressive fractures due to osteoporosis becomes the background of the increase in orthotic management. Thoraco- Lumbo-Sacral-Orthosis (TLSO) helps to manage the problem by reducing axial load and correcting excessive deformation of the spine. This research aims to analyze the TLSO by using the Barthel Index (BI) to assess functional abilities in patients with compressive fractures due to osteoporosis to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Random sampling with the cross sectional approach was used. Variables were divided into independent: the level of disabilities of patients with compressive fractures due to osteoporosis based on BI as the measure of the level of ability and independence to perform 10 ADLs, and dependent: the level of use of TLSO based on BI as the ability to reduce the level of disabilities. Twenty patients with compressive fractures due to osteoporosis fitted with TLSO participated in this study. Univariate analysis showed that the patients are over 50 years of age in which anatomical structures and physiological condition have declined, thus it is of high risk to have compressive fractures. Bivariate analysis indicated that there is no statistically significant relationship between the level of disabilities with the level of use of TLSO (p: 0.403). In contrast, there is significant relationship between the age of patients with their disabilities (p: 0.015). There are no contribution and relationship between the level of use of TLSO and the level of disabilities based on BI in patients with compressive fractures due to osteoporosis (p: 0.403). The largest significant contribution to the level of disabilities in patients with compressive fractures due to osteoporosis is by age (p: 0.015).

Dental caries is an infectious disease resulting email and dentin demineralization. Dental caries have relation with consumption of cariogenic food. But, dental caries also can be initiation with bacteria from Streptococcus class like Streptococcus mutans. Beluntas leaves (Pluchea indica L.) are a tropical herbal plant and this plant very easy to find and spread in Asia-Pacific areas. This plant is reported contain of anti-inflammation substance and decrease of necrosis in ventriculus, neutralization of snake toxin, antioxidants, antiulcerative, hepatoprotective, antimoeba, and broad spectrum of antimicrobial. The purpose of this research is to know differential Rontgen of caries molar in white rat (Rattus norvegicus) after treatment by herbal tooth paste of Pluchea indica leaves. First weeks of research, molar rat‘s induced by Streptococcus mutans and given by caries diet. In 9th and 10th weeks group 1 given 40% Pluchea indica leaves extract paste, group 2 given 50% Pluchea indica leaves extract paste, group 3 given 60% Pluchea indica leaves extract paste. After that, rats were necropsy and collected the pathological changes by Rontgen. Based on rontgen result, there was a difference of contrasting colors and shows the difference between the experimental groups. Results of Rontgen show there are differences in the color analysis especially in group 2 (50% Pluchea indica leaves extract paste) and shown similarity to the negative control group. This happen because of Pluchea indica extract paste can reduce amount of bacteria that initiated dental caries.

Inadequate milk production is the most common reason why mothers do not breastfeed exclusively. To overcome this problem, a stimulus could be provided in the form of breast massage, acupressure and aromatherapy massage techniques. This study is aimed to demonstrate the difference of effectiveness of combination therapy with acupressure therapy and aromatherapy in increasing levels of the prolactin hormone. The study was a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. Samples were taken using consecutive sampling of 40 first day postpartum primiparous mother. The data analyzed using paired t-test and ANOVA. Accupressure increased prolactin level by 75.85%, whilst aromatherapy was proven to increase the prolactin of the mothers by 180.94%. Combination of accupressure and aromatherapy was shown to be the most significant treatment in increasing prolactin by 302.88% compared to prolactin level of mothers in the control group which only increased by 1.53%. This study indicates, it is necessary to apply a combination of acupressure and aromatherapy techniques to increase the level of prolactin hormone in maternal post-partum lactation.

Eclampsia caused 50,000 deaths annually worldwide and counted for 10% of total maternal deaths. This study aims to determine the stimulus effects of stimulus cutaneous slow stroke back massage to Beta Endorphin levels and blood pressure changes of pregnant women with preeclampsia in Demak. This was a quasi-experimental research study design with one group pre and post-test design. This study used a treatment group of 15 pregnant women with mild pre-eclampsia. Stimulus cutaneous slow stroke back massage affects Beta Endorphin levels of pregnant women with mild preeclampsia by increasing Beta Endorphin levels of 0.9816 ng/ml. The treatment also has a positive effect to blood pressure, with 21.0 mmHg reduction in systolic and a decrease of 15.7 mmHg of diastolic after the intervention. This study suggests, therapy stimulus cutaneous slow stroke back massage can be used as an alternative for blood pressure management of pregnant women.
