    Accounting Practices for Micro Business Financing: a Small Medium Enterprise Case in Palu

    Development of entrepreneurship, especially MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in Indonesia is seen as a strategic step in tackling the economic problems of the nation. Entrepreneurship gives a solution of how to innovate independently and to produce. According to the Minister of Cooperatives, Small and Medium number of entrepreneurs reached 0.24% of the total population of Indonesia. Economists declared to be able to advance the national economy; it takes minimum 2% of entrepreneurs of Indonesia population. One of the efforts made by the government is to provide loan assistance Micro Business Financing (KUR). The government hopes that this type of financing can help to solve the problems faced by SMEs in terms of capital. However, the government's expectations have not been entirely successful. This is due to the unavailability of complete accounting information or lack of accounting practices carried out by SMEs as one of the requirements for obtaining KUR. This study aims to analyze the extent of the contribution of accounting practices on access KUR by SMEs and to analyze how perceptions of SMEs to access KUR. This study used survey method, the research sample of 300 SMEs using statistical correlation analysis and statistical description. The results showed the accounting practices contribute to KUR access by SMEs means that with good accounting practices have an impact on the ease of gaining to access KUR. The study also found that the better application of accounting practices in SMEs the easier to access the KUR. A conclusion of this research is that SMEs need to have a standard accounting practices for the ease of obtaining loans KUR. The contribution of this research is in the form of advice to the government to impose regulations, standards related to the accounting practices for SMEs.

    Apparatus for Strengthening of Success in Technology-based Local Financial Information Systems (SIKD)

    Revamping to financial management as the spearhead of governance in Indonesia needs to be done to achieve good governance. Act No. 17 of 2003 requires local governments to manage their finances well region through the Local Financial Information Systems (SIKD) based technology. But in its implementation often cause apparatus behavioral problems in interacting with the system. This resulted in frequent government change the system in a short time with reason in order to obtain a better system and in accordance with the financial administration system in Indonesia. Therefore, the government needs to pay particular attention to the apparatus as those who interact directly with the system. The purpose of this study was to uncover the factors that make up the strengthening of the apparatus for the successful implementation of technology-based SIKD. This study uses a phenomenological approach through the analysis stage ephoce, phenomenological reduction, variation of imaginations, and synthesis of meaning. Data collected by observation, interview and document analysis. Informants in this study are those that are directly involved with SIKD based technology, employees in finance, and policy makers. This study found three factors to consider for successful technology-based SIKD is, first, the commitment of the apparatus as a form of self- integrity apparatus, second, the need for ethics and morality as a refinement of character self apparatus, and thirdly, the need to improve the performance of the apparatus. Conclusion from this research is that the government needs to be proactive in improving the quality of human resources for the successful implementation of technology-based SIKD, through socialization or training. This study contributes in the form of advice to local governments to regulate in particular matters related to human resource development for the successful implementation of technology-based SIKD.

    the Relationship Between Availability and Other Factors With Breakfast Pattern at Selected Highschool Student in Tangerang - Indonesia 2014

    Skipping breakfast habitual will increase the risk of obesity, unhealthy lifestyle, and lack of intelligence, especially for the students. Moreover, adolescent growth spurt is undergoing a process that needs more nutritional requirements. Tangerang has lowest high school graduation rate in Banten Province for the academic year 2013 so it is important to develop research on adolescent breakfast pattern in this region. This study aims to determine the relationship between the availability of breakfast and other factors with student breakfast pattern in selected high school in Tangerang on 2014. Research method is a quantitative research with cross sectional design study. Data were collected using self-completed questionnaires for 160 students. Breakfast intake was assessed using a 2x24 hour food recall questionnaire. The results showed, 70.6% of respondents had a bad breakfast pattern. There is a significant association between the availability of breakfast (0.003) and the school accessibility (0,016) with respondents‘ breakfast pattern. After multivariate analysis, it is known that the availability of breakfast is the dominant factor associated with the breakfast pattern of student in selected high school in Tangerang on 2014.

    The Influence of Granting Modisco With Weight Changes on Toddlers Ages 1-5 Years At Posyandu Persada Sumberwaru Wringinanom – Gresik – East Java - Indonesia

    Background: Malnutrition is a problem of nutrition. The nutritional problem is a problem of society, can be caused by a variety of factors, and not just because of health issues, but also problems of the economy, education, lack of knowledge, as well as insights into the society of the importance of food intake sufficient and nutritious. To prevent it one of his efforts is the grant Modisco. Objective: to know the influence of supplementary feeding on weight changes with the Modisco toddlers ages 1-5 years. Methods: The data gained by doing an observation for one month to find out the weight toddlers pre and post, and then the data in the sport by using a test sample paired t-statistics to know or no difference in average weight toddlers. Pre-experimental design using One group pre test – post test. Result: Test result statistics shows paired t-test α = 0.05 obtained the value of p = 0.000 means there is the influence of the giving of the Modisco with increased weight toddlers ages 1-5 years. This study shows that is very useful in improving the modisco toddler. Conclusion: This study can increase weight toddler ages 1-5 years after the given Modisco. And expected to all parties concerned, so that other food mo disco can serve as an argument or supplemental feeding program, for the sake of growth and development of toddlers are optimal.

    Availability Of Existing Personal Capacity As Perceived By Practicing Nurses In Indonesia

    Continuing competence for practicing nurses is recognized as being of great importance in maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills which is influenced by the availability of existing personal capacity. In Indonesia, nurses are required to renew their licenses every five years after initial licensing and they must have attended for 25 credits of continuing competence program throughout the time. This study; therefore, aimed at exploring the availability of existing personal capacity as perceived by Indonesian practicing nurses. This was a focused ethnography study and the qualitative data were gathered from semi-structured in-depth interviews and a focus group discussion given by 25 practicing nurses in one hospital setting. Five key emerging themes were identified, thus offering a basis for developing a greater principal of the availability of existing personal capacity. The five key emerging themes identified are the following: Theme 1:―Being endorsed from policy maker‖,Theme2:―Joining the up-grading capacity program‖, Theme 3: ―Selecting prospective program‖, Theme 4: ―Sharing group experiences‖ and Theme 5: ―Being curiosity‖. The findings suggest that participants perceive differences in the availability of existing personal capacity. The strategies of programs are in-house training, ex-house training, on-the-job training, group sharing experiences, continous supervision and collaborative learning. Their purpose most likely to improve capavity of nursing care and to ―keeping up to date‖ or used more broadly, including ―expansion of skills and knowledge‖. It is important to include local higher education and health care provider collaboration as an approriate step forward to achieve this.

    Efforts in Decreasing The Number of Tuberculosis Patients Based on The Analysis of Staff Characteristic and Program Management Factors

    The prevalence of Tuberculosis (TB) patients in Lumajang increased by 25.06 per 100.000 people from year of 2007 to 2011. The increase number of prevalence of TB patients in Lumajang showed that the number of TB patients got higher so that the morbidity level of public health in Lumajang got lower. Therefore, an effort is needed to reduce the number of TB patients in Lumajang. The objective of this study was to arrange efforts in decreasing the number of TB patients based on the results of analysis on staff characteristic and program management factor in Lumajang Regency. This research is an analytical observational study, conducted by analyzing; the staff characteristic factor including the working period and the perception of staff and the factor of Community Health Centers management, including planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling of TB patient decreasing. This study took place in selected Community Health Centers which are the sub-ordinate of Health Department in Lumajang Regency. The study was conducted from February to March 2012. The population of this study was 25 Community Health Centers in Lumajang Regency and the sample was 21 selected Community Health Centers by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data was analyzed using SPSS 16.0 software. Then, a multiple regression analysis was done. The result of this analysis became the strategic issue. The result shows that staff characteristic factors (working period and the perception of staff) significantly play role in decreasing the TB patients at Community Health Centers in Lumajang Regency (p<0.05). So do program management factors (planning, organizing, actuating and controlling) – they have important role in decreasing TB patients at Community Health Centers in Lumajang Regency (p<0.05). Indeed, program management is inseparable related process. Every single management program factor may affect one another.

    Food Sources of Vitamin D and Its Deficiency in Worker Women

    The main source of vitamin D comes from sunlight. The high vitamin D deficiency is strongly associated with low sun exposure. The sources of vitamin D in food was limited. This study is to identify food sources and food habits of female factory workers. This study used a cross sectional design and was conducted at PT Gunung Salak (garment factory) in Sukabumi, Indonesia. Sample population was female workers at child bearing age (18-40 years old) who works in garment factory, 154 women. The data collected in this study was primary type. The primary data was collected through interviews using a questionnaire and analysis of blood biochemistry (serum 25(OH)D). Vitamin D status analysis was performed by taking blood through the vein by laboratory analyst. Data of repondents‘ characteristics (name, date of birth, ethnic group, and education), food sources and food habits were collected by questionnaire. The finding obtained the respondents‘ average consumption of chicken eggs was 20.1 times per month with an average weight per consumption as much as 56.3 g. Chicken eggs were a food stuff which was consumed most frequently by the respondents. The kinds of fruits and vegetables containing vitamin D were very few and rarely consumed by the respondents. However, the respondents‘ fruit consumption was high enough for each consumption. The kinds of fruits which were most frequently consumed by the respondents were oranges, bananas, and papayas. The vegetable which was consumed most frequently was spinach. Spinach was consumed for 6.0 per month with the average weight of 55.6 g for each consumption.

    Analysis of Factors Related to The Sexual Behaviours of XI-Graded in The Senior High School 6 Makassar in 2012

    Adolescence is a transition-period from childhood to adulthood. In the transition-period, teenagers tend to search for their identity, but because of lack of control and supervisory function so that teenagers soetimes get the mistaken for expressing the identity. One of the problems often arise is deviations of sexual behavior as a result of lacks of reproductive health knowledge, information absorption through knowledge, social environment, and information media. Many early-age teenagers have been stuck in unsafe reproductive behavior. The purpose of this study knows about Factors Related to the Sexual Behaviours on the Teenager of XI Grade of the state Senior High School 6 Makassar in 2012. The type of this study was descriptive research supported by quantitative research was conducted with cross sectional approach where variable research conducted simultaneously at one time. The results were tested using chi-square test. Based on statistical tests, there are relationship between reproductive health knowledge and sexual behavior with p (0.011) <α (0.05). The relationship between social environment and sexual behavior was found with p (0.022) <α (0.05), and the relationship between media information and sexual behavior was found with p (0.033) <α (0.05), so that reproductive health knowledge, social environment and media information have a relationship to sexual behavior . Thus, it is suggested for increasing the teenager knowledge of reproductive health through school subject and holding a seminar of the importance of healthy and responsibly sexual behavior,conducting the positive activities outside of school and supervision of television broadcast program, internet, and magazines. Besides, it needs a participation and active-roles of all parties as a function of teenagers- control and supervision to avoid deviations from values of religious, moral, ethics, and reproductive system related-diseases.

    Situation Analysis on Hiv Prevalence Among Pwid in Vietnam

    The HIV/AIDS epidemic in Vietnam is still complicated. Two groups in high risks are people who injection drug and female sex workers (FSW). According to 2011 sentinel surveillance, HIV prevalence among PWID still high at 13.4%. Vietnam is making effort to control the HIV prevalence among PWID by many programs such as: needles and syringes program, methadone program, condom use program. Furthermore, the programs are applying still successful until now. Vietnam has been successful to decline the percentage of HIV prevalence among PWID.

    Kangaroo Mother Care Module and Education Toward the Baby Growth and Mother Independency at Home

    Follow up care of Low Birth Weight (LBW) importantly depend on mother after discharge from hospital who is going to look after her baby. It is significant to give mother education and guide us follow up care that determined health status of LBW. Study showed that home based neonatal care can reduce neonatal morbidity up to half. A non-equivalent experimental design with pre and post- test and control group was employed in this study to determine the infant weight and score of mother independency one week and one month after leave hospital. Twenty five mothers who just had delivery a 1,500-to-2,500-grams baby with no congenital abnormalities were recruited by accidental sampling technique both in experimental and control group during April - June 2015 in Ambarawa and Ungaran Hospital. Either control or experimental group received ―Kangaroo‖ clothes that positioned the baby in a pocket at the front side of the mother during breastfeeding, and taught the benefits and how to use the outfits. However, only the respondents in experimental group obtained Kangaroo Mother Care module and education including the introduction of KMC, the benefits of KMC, and breast feeding in 3 days before leave the hospitals. The data suggest the uses of Kangaroo outfit are recommended to support significant growth of infants and score of mother independency after one month leave the hospitals; however, accompanying the outfit with KMC module and education will be the best option.
