    No full text
Analyzing patient satisfaction is crucial for assessing the performance and accessibility of health services in light of the rising demand for healthcare. The opinions of patients are becoming more and more weighted in the formulation of policies. The healthcare management in developing countries appears to have mainly disregarded patients' opinions of their countries' healthcare systems. Therefore, this study is patient-centered and aims to examine the factors influencing patients' satisfaction with healthcare services provided by community clinics in rural Kapasia, Bangladesh. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 434 samples. Exploratory factor analysis was used to find the potential factors that might influence patient satisfaction. The results suggest that health staff explanation about medicine and dosages received the highest rating from respondents (3.86±.39) while the availability of drinking water received the lowest rating 1.93±0.68. The study has revealed that the 3 factors that affect the satisfaction of patients are health staff service attitude and basic amenities in the waiting area. To increase patient satisfaction, health administrators should prioritize the three aforementioned factors and put the right plans into action. The strategic steps required to address the demands of patients in the government healthcare sector are also discussed in the study’s conclusion

The rapid growth of urbanization in Palembang, South Sumatra Province, poses challenges in the management of energy resources and the environment. This study aims to evaluate the application of Internet of Things (IoT) in the E-Cleanness City Information and Management System program as a solution in improving energy efficiency and smart city operations. Mixed research methods were used, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis to obtain a comprehensive picture of the impact of IoT implementation. The results showed a 10% decrease in energy consumption and a 15% increase in operational efficiency after IoT implementation. The main factors contributing to the efficiency improvement include optimization of waste collection routes, reduction in the number of operational vehicles, and improved response times. In addition, user and system manager satisfaction surveys indicated high levels of satisfaction, indicating positive acceptance of the technology. The social and economic benefits include reduced operational costs, improved quality of life, creation of new jobs, and increased environmental awareness. However, challenges such as limited technological infrastructure, the need for further training, complex system integration, and data security and privacy issues need to be addressed to optimize IoT implementation. This research recommends infrastructure development, intensive training programs, and implementation of strong data security protocols as strategic steps to support the sustainability of smart city management in Palembang. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for the development of similar policies in other cities in Indonesia in an effort to achieve energy efficiency and environmental sustainability through IoT technology

    No full text
The prevalence of anxiety disorders among university students is high, particularly during periods of high stress, such as when students are completing their final projects. This research aimed to investigate how self-confidence and anxiety levels relate among students working on their final projects at the Statistics Department at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Research was conducted on 86 students aged 21-26 years old using an online questionnaire. Self-confidence, self-efficacy, and social support were independent variables, while anxiety levels (mild, moderate, and severe) were dependent variables. Self-confidence was found to be significantly correlated with anxiety levels, while self-efficacy and social support were not significantly correlated. The result of ordinal logistic regression analysis indicated that students with high self-confidence were 0.13 times more likely to experience mild or moderate anxiety compared to those with moderate self-confidence. Those with high levels of self-confidence, however, are more likely to suffer from severe anxiety (26%) than those with moderate levels of self-confidence (4%). In certain academic situations, high self-confidence may not be a hindrance against anxiety. A more comprehensive understanding of anxiety will require further research considering additional factors that contribute to anxiety, factors that were not considered in this study

Insulin is a hormone that regulates blood glucose. Hyperglycemia, also called high blood glucose or high blood sugar, is a common effect of uncontrolled diabetes and over time causes serious damage to many body systems, especially the nerves and blood vessels. The development of diabetes mellitus is usually preceded by Prediabetes, which is characterized by impaired fasting glucose. Research has shown that prediabetes is a toxic state that leads to cardiovascular disease associated with diabetes. Preventing type 2 diabetes involves a healthy lifestyle: a balanced diet, regular exercise, and avoiding sugary and processed foods. Maintaining a healthy weight is essential because obesity increases the risk. Even small weight losses can significantly reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. Community service activities by modifying patient lifestyles have an impact on the blood sugar results of prediabetes community patients in Ombulo Village
